Like I said, the Cantz were going to take it out.. Though the Waratahs did alright during the end of the game, but not good enough to catch up. Marshall and the rest of the guys that are leaving are going to be missed.. Im not a big Marshall fan however but he is a good player..

Well, the Lions vs Bay of Plenty game was good. Down there in Rotavegas. Lions taking it just by a few points and BOP did play good against a big ranking rugby team such as the Lions, even though BOP is just a provintional team, they played good.
Hard luck for Lawrence though.. I was hoping to watch him play through the Lions Tour. But with the broken leg/ankle he has, hes out... anyone els watch it?
Oh and the Lomu game is tomorrow lol.. I think the sevens will be on tomorrow aswell.. thought it was gonna be on today or it might be next weekend.. with Jo-Rocks-My-CoCos!! lol..

Yep I saw the All Blacks Trial and the Lomu game.
Its a real pity to see guys like Nick Evans, who had a great game, get dropped like that. And guys like Doug who hasn't done anything all season get an automatic call up.
And its a real shame a bout Dallaglio, he is one of thier best players and it just upsets the occasion.

Yea he deserved to go through the Tour. I mean didnt he retire and then came back just for the Lions Tour? Damn shame I reckon...
Shux yea Nick Evans, mate hes not only a cutie (in my opinion lol) but hes totally worth putting in there and giving him a shot. But I understand that they wouldnt want to take a risk like that. Its more of taking on experienced then brand new.. I mean NZ want to take out the Lions Tour...
The Possibles vs The Probables was a good game.... The Lions vs BOP.... it was more of a one sided game.. The Lomu Game.. why is he coming back to rugby again?? And I think im missing one more.. heh...
And the Sevens.. geez i wish they showed the sevens during the day and not late at night.. i wouldve rather watched that then some crappy stuff that was on channel 1 lol.. I dont have sky digital btw..
Joe-Rocks-My-Cocoas lol.. poor dude.. from being an All Black Star to being bought back to the sevens... I mean dont get me wrong the sevens is a good game but the All Black staff or coaches or who ever they are said its good for his self-esteem or some crap.. well if he needs sometime off then i dont mind that..
I met him once too... at Manukau City lol... "home" hehe... But we see alot of ABz old and new coming through there..

Ok.. this is what i put up in the Lions Thread so im just basically copying and pasting...
**********
well lets just say im proud of the NZ Maori Team. They played great and hard against the Mighty Lions. 13 - 19 to the NZ Maori Team.
Even though most of the points were made up by penalties.
One Try per team. Leon McDonald doing it for the NZ Maori and O'Driscoll I think for the Lions.
It kind of got boring for awhile. I love watching speed lol.. Felt sorry for Steve Walsh but the commentators said he likes that kind of stuff.. getting crap on both sides... I like Steve Walsh that hunky guy HA LOL..
Ok outside of the game.. I love singing the national NZ anthem in english and Maori. And the Haka was like heart stopping.. well for me.. its better then the ABz Haka i reckon..
BTW Graham Henry announced the AB team.. But I guess i should post that in the Official Rugby/Rugby League thread lol..
**********
Ok in other News, how did the Warriors Play?
Against the Melbourne Storms.. well I didnt watch the entire game.. more like kept going in and out of the room but they just won. So I saw at the end.. hmmm will the Warriors go far this season? Time will tell really..
Also, Graham Henry announced the All Blacks Squad for the DHL NZ Lions Series. This is from allblacks.om:
All Blacks coach Graham Henry and his assistant coaches Wayne Smith and Steve Hansen and fellow selector, Sir Brian Lochore, have named their 26-man squad for the three-Test DHL New Zealand Lions Series.
The squad is:
Dan Carter Canterbury ... ol' Daniel Carter lol
Jerry Collins Wellington (Get a Haircut!) LOL
Rico Gear Nelson Bays .. woohoo go Rico!!
Carl Hayman Otago
Doug Howlett Auckland
Chris Jack Canterbury (Is it me or does this guy look gumby? lol nah hes the bomb too!!)
Campbell Johnstone Canterbury
Byron Kelleher Waikato
Sione Lauaki Waikato
Richie McCaw Canterbury
Leon MacDonald Canterbury
Justin Marshall Canterbury
Aaron Mauger Canterbury
Keven Mealamu Auckland
Mils Muliaina Auckland
Ma’a Nonu Wellington
Anton Oliver Otago
James Ryan Otago (Boy Played gooood didnt he ) lol
Sitiveni Sivivatu Waikato FIJI FIJI FIJI FIJI lol.. sorry Jo!
Conrad Smith Wellington
Greg Somerville Canterbury
Rodney So’oialo Wellington
Mose Tuiali’i Canterbury
Tana Umaga Wellington (Captain)
Ali Williams Auckland
Tony Woodcock North Harbour
While not included in the squad, hooker Derren Witcombe and loose forward Jono Gibbes will train with the All Blacks.
The squad assembles briefly in Auckland later this week and then convenes in Christchurch on Monday, June 20th to prepare for the first test of the DHL New Zealand Lions Series.
***********
Well thats it.. lol..
BTW vvv.. where abouts in Manukau huh? lol.. Im in Papatoez..

I'm at Manukau Heights, a lil further south..
Generally quite happy with the All Blacks squad, leaving out Rokocoko was fully acceptable. However, I can't believe Nick Evans can't make it. In my opinion, Dan Carter isnt even that good !
The backline looks outstanding, I think Howlett should be the one left out of the final 15, man im really dissing my fellow Aucklanders today..
As for the Warriors, yes it was a good win over the Storm, but they really need to get a good roll, ie six or seven wins on the trot.

Manukau Heights.. alot of family over those ways.. well alot of family in sth auckland really..
Yea I agree.. Nick Evans has been playing hard for a spot on the squad.. and you could really tell but I guess Graham Henry and the rest of the AB staff have something up their sleeve... Dan Carter isnt my fav guy but I wouldnt say hes bad..
And yea Joe hasnt been upto fitness standards lately, so thats why hes been put back in the Sevens Team. I didnt get to watch any of the sevens games but I heard that we'v been doing good..
As for Warriors, like I said in the past im not a fan of them and probably will never be.. but If they make it through this season then good on them.. They atleast deserve some kind of victory near the end of it all.. for Stacys sake.. is he still there?

Yep Stacey is still around and finding his feet lately.
Its a real pity he's off at the end of the year, I hope the boys really give him a decent farewell, no guy deserves it more.

The Lions defeat Wellington, but cop a lot of critisicm for not being able to put them away for a bigger score.
The critics here say that the All Blacks will be disappointed if they don't rout the Lions completely, I beg to differ. The Lions will bring themselves up for the occasion, just like Australia always does !
And we tend to be very fickle about that, and hence, Australia always beats us in the crunch matches !

Loads of Englands players have retired since the world cup. The newbies will need a year or two to get meshed into a world beating team. This is normal and obvious.

Yes this is normal and obvious but the Lions still have a good team. Everyone knows when it comes to crunch time though for the All Blacks they just turn into mush its annoying.. HOPEFULLY its not like that this time.. and I still stand by the Lions planning out their next attack lol..

I partly blame the media for that, all that nonsense they create about the All Blacks being totally immortal cos they waste Fiji. And then theyre the first to stab the Blacks from the back when they lose a crunch match, because they were 'cheated by an intercept try' or something.
Bullocks.
They lose the big matches because theyre overconfident.
End of story.

OMG now who watched the game? The first test in Christchurch... the Lions vs the ABz.....? Brilliant wasnt it?
And what about O'dricoll.. a deliberate spare tackle or just a 'spare' of the moment thing lol.. I dont think Umaga and Mealamu did it on purpose... it was just a 'done' and then run... most ppl that do it deliberately kind of put some kind of 5cent punch or kick into it just to make it worse..
Bitting? wtf? cmon guys keep it clean.. Keven so didnt deserve that..
the tries were excellent and they did a great job pushing the Lions forwards back.. like in the Sunday News/Herald, if it wasnt for the rain the points wouldve been more so the Lions were lucky this time..
So does anyone els have something to say? Im sure you do lol
