We have no challenge yet, thats the problem *sigh*
suggestions --
1) Name the Nazguls
2) some questions-answers-thing like in Harry Potter
3) draw some fanart-pic of one of the characters/scenes/...
4) write a short fanfiction or an own text about something only marginally mentioned in the books, like the origin of the Haudh-en-Gwanûr (?)
5) name all orcs in Moria
6) Design an armoury for the elves of the First Age
7) Translate something to Sindarin
8) Write a poem one of the characters could have made - or one to describe a certain situation, whatever... or a song for the elves leaving middle-earth
9) Write a theory why you think Ilúvatar gave Men mortality

Well, not all members know about the Silmarillion--besides the fact that I can NEVER get Luthien to dance right in my drawings  --so I think it should be LOTR, from either book or movie, and I also think that we should not digitally edit them, like Chris did with the Gollum piece.

I say a scence from one of the books...preferably one NOT in the movies, because that way it will be out of the person's imagination, not just an imitation of the film....just my thoughts...
