ive said it before and i'll say it again, i think that venom should have his own movie...simple as that...focus on Brock instead of Parker...venom would make a great movie on his own...have spiderman cameo...but focus more on venom than spiderman
wait a minute, if raimi sed that the enemy in the third film will be the person introduced at the end then wouldnt the villian in the third film be [SPOILER - highlight to read]: harry osbourn as the green goblin or the hobgoblin since he was at the end of the movie
I was so excited when I started reading this. Then I noticed the date. And then I read the content. I don't want a guy writing a Venom movie that doesn't even like the character.
The only problem I had with that scene is that in the Spidey universe he can only press about 10 tons. For him to hold on to the webbing and be pushed by a moving train with several carts, plus the pull of the webs anchored to the buildings would be impossible. The physics involved are crazy, Spidey's arms would of been pulled off. I guess its just a nitpick, I thought he was just gonna build a giant net anchored to several buildings and have the train deselerate with just the power of the webs holding it. Although the way it was did add to the humaness of the character. Another nitpick I have is Doc Ock....he is only human...He has no super powers only super tentacles. One punch from Spider-Man and his head would cave in. Oh well
As for who will be in the next movie...I think Harry will realize that his father was wrong in being the Green Goblin and will struggle in knowing the real reason why Spider-Man "killed" his father and Sipder-Man being his best friend. Harry will use the suite and glider for good in allience with Spider-Man to defeat most likely the Lizard. However Harry's ego once he becomes a "hero" will surpass his selflessness and heroic well being. He will seek grandure and try and over shadow Spider-Man as NYC's ultimate hero. Spidey and Harry will clash, in their moral issues and the whole with great power comes great responsibility thing. Harry does not have what it takes to be a hero. This causes friction in their friendship because Spidey will not like how Harry does things. At the same time Harry will be tormented by the vioces in his head and ultimately become evil but will not really come into fruition until perhaps the 4th film. The idea of having the symiote come down with the aid of John Jameson is very plausible seeing as he was introduced in the second film and maybe or maybe not we'll see black suite Spider-Man but I don't think Venom will come until the 4th. It does seem that the Lizard is next in line....as for Dr. Conners having two arms in the movie, maybe we'll see him lose it in the third. Afterall they've taken some liberties with the story already, deviating slightly from the Comic.
As for the symbiote...in the comic didn't Spider-Man get the symbiote suite when he was transported in to outer space for the "Secret Wars" saga...in the Fox cartoon it was brought down by Jameson though.
Speaking of nitpicks, did anyone notice that he kept taking off his mask and then getting it back suddenly? Like on the train, he pulls it off while on top of the speeding train, yet the kids find it and give it back. And at the end, he pulls it off inside the dock building. The building sinks, yet he gets his mask back.

i said i didnt expect there to be...Harry's gonna be Green Goblin...dude, regardless of what you have to say...if you see the movie its pretty damn obvious
What is with calling people stupid and retards on this board? Can we not have an opinion...I said I think, you said you know...not to mention you also said we'd probably think you're talking B.S. Pardon me if I'm a bit skeptical, afterall we don't even know you or your dad. Movies take time to develop and film and countless things are changed througout the production. You can't say something is certain. Who is your dad by the way? I'm sure if he worked on the film we can find him in the credits.
In what I thought was a possible third film I have Harry and Spidey "friends" just like you put it....the only reason why I said the lizard is because there is something called foreshadowing...and Doc Conners was introduced in the second...that's all. I'm not saying its truth I just created a hypothesis from what was made available to me. You claim to know the truth and I haven't completely discredited you, but is it really stupid to be skeptical?

i personally would rather see lizard or any other villain than green gobby...but i will just have to wait like everyone else...the only thing that i consider stupidity is the nagging about the organic webs...everything else is fair game and NOBODY knows more than anyone else unless you can show proof...
in my oppinion peter parker should find the symbiote and use it as teh costume while he is fighting harry, then at teh end of the movie he should get rid of the symbiote.
then in the 4th movie the symbiote should find eddie brock.
BTW: it never actually showed dock ock dieing so he could come back, when it showed him in the watter the lights on his arms were still on so he could still be alive.
Are we stupid? Gee, apparently so. I know it never occured to me to break into a forum by calling everyone names. Your argument lacks one thing to support it. FACT. That is, undisputable truthful content.
Supply me with that, and I'm happy to climb aboard.
Oh, God, don't mention organic web shooters here--that's a real hot issue. But, personally, I'm game if you are. And the great web-shooter debate begins anew...
