did anyone buy the animated spider-man dvd called: spider-man vs doc ock...well i did and in one of the episodes spidey says something like"i cant take on both of them" anyway my point is that spidey 3 could be like Lizard and Hobbgoblin against Peter....it would be so cool to see that punch line in the 3rd movie what do you guys think?

I think a super-villain team-up would be cool, but a solo mission is fine as well. I'm really happy with these movies--the screenplay is great, and the casting has been absolutely fantastic to date. It would be nice to see Parker just a little funnier, though, but I can't comlain.
i think it would suck if Harry was the bad guy, mainly because i feel sorry for him.....he seems so confused....... sorry im not into all this spidey stuff although i do like the movies....so whos lizard????

He's Dr. Curt Conners--after losing an arm, he begins experimenting with some bioengineering using reptilian dna in an effort to regenerate his lost limb. Interesting character. His experiment of course, goes awry, and thus the Lizard is born.
I was expecting that Pete would go to Dr. Conners due to his problem with his powers and then Dr. Conners would do experiments on him. Then he'd use that info to try and get his arm back, leading into the next movie.

Hi I'm new here and I've never watched the cartoon series nor have I read the comics, but Spiderman 2 has made me a SPiderman fan!! It's that powerful of a movie! Anyway, I believe that for new fans like me who aren't as informed about the original storyline would prefer to see Harry as the villain in Spiderman 3... or at least I believe it should be that way. First of all, if you want a movie to make lots of money, you need it to appeal to EVERYONE.. including girls like me who think James Franco (Harry Osbourne) is drop-dead gorgeous. Seriously, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have gotten so crazy about Spiderman. I also think that they should just make Spiderman a trilogy cuz if they keep chugging out movies they'll run out of steam and ppl will lose interest. Just look at Harry Potter.. this 3rd one is making less money than the previous 2, even though it's getting better reviews from critics. So yeah, that's my opinion and btw, I have to say this again.. James Franco is HOT!!
SpiderGurl, would you truly want to sit through the Green Goblin in another movie (not that the first movie was bad)? It would be boring to see the same suit and everything. If they're having Harry as the villain, he should be the Hob Goblin.

I think there will be tons of villains in the third movie but not all be be main.
I think the Lizard will play the main part as well as Harry but he will not be GG2 yet. I think the Shocker and the Rhino will appear to have cameo fights with spidey just to steam up the action because in the comics there is more than one villain at one time. I think Eddie brock will have an apppearance and will travel with John Jameson to space where he will find the symbiote in which in the fourth movie he will turn into venom. I also think in the third movie that John Jameson will have some confrontation between him and Peter because he has taken MJ and will give a hint of how he will turn into Man-wolf. Last but not least I think they will show Gwen Stacey who I think should be be played by Anna Paquin who played Rouge from the xmen movies.
[I think Carnage will appear in the fourth movie as he and Venom will fight against Spidey and other villains will appear as well, Man- wolf will appear in the fifth movie along-side GG2 who will live up to the sixth movie as Spidey will AGAIN HAVE A REMATCH WITH VENOM AND CARNAGE]

IMO, they shouldn't do Man-Wolf. Too many werewolf movies out as it is. They should just stick to the classic villains and Venom.

Actually, it introduces the feud in a subtle way in the first Spider-Man movie. If you listen carefully to the scene where Peter first goes to the Daily Bugle, Robbie says that Eddie's tried to get pics of Spidey, but he hasn't been able to.

i think the lizard would be a way better villian than another goblin... alot of people dont agree with me but if you htink about the lizard would be one of the best villians...like..the 1st time you see him would be in the sewer or somethin and he could be attackin someone and all you would hear is him growlin or see just see his red eyes in the dark that would be tight...plus spider-man would have to fight him in the sewer..how often do u see a giant lizard and a kid in a costume duke it out in the sewers?....i think they could make a sewer fight scene just as good as the train fight scene...and this would be the 1st time in the movies that spider-man would be goin up agaisnt somethin that isnt even human... but it doesnt look like none of this is gonna happen
Well I'm not saying that I never want to see these other villains-- Lizard and Venom-- in a Spiderman movie ever. I think that Raimi should first end this Harry Osbourne-Peter Parker angst in the 3rd one to make it a nice trilogy, and other villains can come in 4, 5, and 6 with a new cast of actors and new director (since none of the current ones are planning to do more than 3 spiderman movies anyway). I don't mind seeing green goblin again because what matters to me is that I want to know how Harry resolves his issues, not just leave it hanging for another 2 movies which would be like milking the movies for all it's worth and I don't like that. It would be nice if Harry got a slightly better costume than his dad though.
IMO, they should have the Sinister Six and have Harry (as Green Goblin) replace Doc Ock.

There's many options the directors could take, and I'd be happy regardless of which villain they choose.
Even if it is Harrys Goblin, I'm sure Raimi will do a bang up job on the character, and do the license justice yet again.
It's just that, from a marketing perspective, when people have seen Green Goblin and Dock Ock in action, they'd be expecting somone else for 3 yet again. I can imagine people saying "WTF?" if they see Green Goblin in the trailer for Spidey 3.
I'm guessing The Goblin would have to be a different kind of Goblin, just for the sake of interest. They cant have him throwing things at Spidey, flying around all over the place, when we've already seen the best that the Goblin has to offer in Spiderman 1. That gets me thinking that if Harry does become the Goblin - there may be another villain, possibly The Lizard (which would make sense considerring he'd need to be manipulated and used) to add to the drama. It would make an awesome movie considerring Spideys greatest threat is now in the form of his best friend and his mentor.
