Truthfully I believed in my religion at first because my parents do embarrasment
I was raised catholic and continue to be catholic. Although I'm not just going along with it, I agree with the beliefs and teachings, so I was not only bred this way, but when I was old enough to make up my mind, I chose to be catholic big grin

Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all have the same Old Testament stories, Noah and the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, so on and so forth.

Allah actually means "God" in Arabic.

The only thing that these 3 religions differ in is their belief in the messiah. Christians believe the messiah has come, Jews think he hasn't, and Muslims think that Mohammed was the messiah, not Jesus. They believe that Jesus was just a great prophet.

from these facts, apparently, they all worship the same entity, but kill each other because they can't agree over one person, Jesus.

How ****ed up is that?

You know what gets me, about peeps saying that Jesus was a phrophet, is that since when are prophets known to lie? Jesus flat out said, he was the Son of God. God said, this is my son whom I am well pleased, now if they thk he was a Prophet they are calling him a liar, right? confused

The bible states that all liars go to the lake of fire. So, if they believe he's a prophet they would say that Jesus is a Liar and that God was a liar.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

You basically just named everyone on the planet. Sounds like heaven will be relatively empty.

You apparently don't know anything about the being a Christian and the Bible. NO one is perfect, thats what repentenace is for, but you can't go around and intentionaly lying to people then so, ohh Jesus plz forgive me. Jesus knows your intentions, your motives. Anyone thats knows anything about the God, Jesus, the bible, knows you're not supose to lie.

That's why God sent Jesus to save mankind from that lake of fire.

I WAS Christian, I know the religion nearly insaide and out, and I'm still not convinced. No, you aren't supposed to lie, but everyone does it anyway. Is Jesus here to save only those who repent, or everyone? If he died for everyone no matter what, what's the point in repenting? You are already forgiven. Supposedly, everyone on the planet, whether they are Christian or not, is saved. Then Christians say that if you don't repent, you go to hell. What...the...****?

For what is the reason why He would die for the sins of all mankind? He was only entitled to die for His Church. smile

The reason why He sent us His Son because He wants us to be saved ... and because He loves us. However, it's up to us if we know how to recognize that love of His for all of us.

God is the true religion

to me, it is the correct religion because that is what i believe. If u dont believe in Christianity and stuff, do u think that u are right in ur opinion?
Well I dont believ in any divine beings and for me is the right thing for me, dont go around saying that is the correct thing though cause that would be just plain arrogant. So what I really feel about religion I keep to myself cause peole would be offended if I posted my true inner thoughts on the matter

and his followers are so divided into the matter they divided chrisitanity into three branches(roman catholic, eastern orthodox and protestants)
And the protestants divided themselves into countless denominations. Great way to go roll eyes (sarcastic) just a mess

roll eyes (sarcastic) Well, the Bible was right when it says something like:

"In later times, some will abandon their faith... some will introduce secretly false doctrines inside the church... some will follow doctrines made by man... some will practice evil doctrines... and some will turn their backs from God."

This was prophesied by Christ and His apostles to happen on His Church in later times.
And indeed, it was fulfilled, right by the time the Apostles ceased to exist. smile

John, who wrote the Book of Revelations, had already seen this to happen in the church... "the woman who drinks the maddening wine of her adultery"...

This Church which Christ was built, as prophesied, later became The Roman Catholic Church... smile

No. I mean Christ's Church. It's only one. Christ knows His Church and His Church knows Him. smile

still too many to count and they all arrogantly think their church is the one. What a joke

which later got to be parted into orthodox and then protestant and then just a big mess

Well, Christ once said ...

"In that time, many will come to me and say: Lord, Lord ...
... but Christ will say to them: Go away from me, I never knew you!"

Meaning, many will claim to be 'Christians' but only Christ knew His true ones ... and His true ones knew the true Christ. smile
quote:

which later got to be parted into orthodox and then protestant and then just a big mess

yes As prophesied.
