i said nothing of disolving current marriage, but in this day and age where there are so many no religious people, something should be done to give these people the same rights that current married people have, hospital visiting rights, rights to keep assests after death etc etc, nothing like this has anything to do with the religious aspect of marriage
nope, you didn't, but I did, cause it is the same insanity
and it all depends on your country ... overhere we can have marriages and there is finally a law that gets them the exact same rights a married couple has
Alot in here said, they don't have a choice, said they were born like that and many have said, why would someone chose that?? (to be ridiculed and made fun of, why would they chose that?
I've disagreed w/that, ( I thk they do have a choice) anyways.....then you come up w/it's a chemical imbalance, ok if it's a chemical imbalance, then why not take the meds for it, (oh well there's not any, is there? ) in order to save all the ridicule, I mean It must be hard to be that way from all of your opinions you've posted. So, if there was meds, why would you not want to take it? Mabye cuz there's no such thing as chemical imbalance? and its a choice you've made.
Anyways we all live with choices we make in life, even tho I highly disagree w/this I would Never treat anyone diff for being that way. Thats not me.
People don't choose to be homosexual (someone pointed that out earlier when I used the word choice although I never actually MEANT choice). People choose to be open or not about it yeah but not to BE homosexual.
If anything homosexuality is doing good things for the world. The more straight couples, the more kids. The more kids, the more overpopulated this mudball of a planet becomes and that's something we don't need.
One thing that I think is a plus about homosexuality for guys (which really baffles me when men say "Yuk, gay men") is that, if men actually want to be with OTHER men and not women, then that makes the straight female to straight male ratio much higher on the female part. It's strange.
I was discussing this with Vic and he raised an interesting point which I full agree with. He said supposing you split up with your girlfriend and she leaves you for another man, it's gonna feel extremely shit knowing she's leaving for the reason that another man can give her what you cannot, whatever that may be. Not to mention it's a break-up. On the flip side, if your girl left you for another woman, you would KNOW that there was nothing you could have done to please her and no other man could either. She could only find what she wanted from another woman. It would still feel a bit bad but the homosexuality of your female partner causing the break-up would offer major compensation. I should imagine that works less for females as man on man doesn't seem as appealing to them as girl on girl does to men. However it would be applicable I guess.
Homosexuality is no bad thing at all. If anything it's a plus.
Gender: Male Location: Welfare Kingdom of California
lol! That reminds me of that episode in which Homer thinks Bart is gay. So he takes him up to Santa's village to hunt the reinders so that he can be a real man.
Gender: Female Location: That so-called fiery place.
