I believe Batman beat Superman without Kryptonite as well. He used technology(Reed Richards style) to find a way to beat him. If anyone has the details, help me out, please.

Don't you think that's a bit absurd though? Batman defeating " Superman " without Kryptonite? I mean yes, he's resourceful but no one is THAT resourceful. That just gives Batman too much credit. Not that he doesn't deserve great acclaim for being a non-superpowered hero who battles the super natural...but some things are just plain stupid and if he beat Superman in such a fashion...ugh. I see it as a great slap in the face of all supposed super powered beings. Why should any of them bother having abnormal abilities when the writers could just WRITE them into defeating their foes according to a whim.

It depends on the tech he used. "Super Science"/"Magic" has always been a weakness of Supes'. If he slapped Supes in the face with a retardedly advanced 857th century teflon coated, freon breathing super advanced rubber glove, then Supes could easily just keel over and die.

It's all absurd! "You see, in all actuality, none of this is real! There's just some hack on a type writer...."

Glad to see some supporters have been drummed up in the forums! Walker is badass, although that Nazi super-lesbian beat the stuffing out of him and started on Union Jack. Oy, good stuff.

I just hope Blazing Skull gets some nookie from Tara. She is undoubtably hot, for a synthezoid. Pun intended. And I might petition Marvel to keep her naked. It was a good idea....

Don't you think it's absurd, BP defeating the entire FF with just technology? What's the point of them having all those different powers if the writers are just gonna write some human whipping them all? Some things are just plain stupid.

Most of the stuff the batman does is obsurd and is probably why most poeple like him. And tell me how much fun is it going to be if the guy you are defeating, is just some average joe who does not know up from down.
(this also goes for the panhter)

On a different note if you have kryptonite does not mean superman has lost because he wore one to know out supergirl.

My point was the arguement proved nothing because both characters have done and will do things of that sort.

Good point, Merc. But there's a difference. The Fantastic Four were never pushed to a level where they were viewed as nearly " god-like " figures. The Fantastic Four have always retained much of their humanity. They have just about all of the same weaknesses and strengths as the next man down the street. They're not viewed as " impervious " beings unlike Superman. He's damn near indestructible and therefore in my eyes resonates few notions of what it is to truly be human.

Johnny Storm, Sue Storm, Reed Richards -- they all still have human qualities and human weaknesses that can be exploited. And the Thing. He's DURABLE but still displays an amount of vulnerability. Superman has no such qualities. Understand what I'm saying? Were you comparing Batman/Superman's situation to Black Panther say taking down Silver Surfer -- then I'd agree with you wholeheartedly. But SS doesn't have HUMAN weaknesses so there's nothing there really for Black Panther to readily exploit. And the F. Four are only human in the end.

Batman over Supes still ends in kryptonite though. This gives Supes the required vunerability.
