Bah, we know way too much about Bendis as it is; if he'd shut his effing mouth for longer than 5 consecutive seconds, he'd probably be hated a little less. We don't "know" him? I WISH! He's running Marvel singlehandedly these days. B@stard!
...Lov the new sig, Nataku Do you get good reception on those things, or is it "Can you hear me now?... good!" all the time?

__Time for a SHAMELESS PLUG of my fan-fiction. Chapter One of a Carnage novella (a god-d@mn NOVELLA, I must be mad!) is now posted in Josh22's symbiote2 group. It's NC-17, so you have to be 18 to join. And be prepared for bad, bad, god-that's-bad things...it's a Carnage story! (Well, I don't skin a baby or bake anyone in an oven in this one. Actually, the first chapter isn't so bad...honest...go on...take a quick peek.)
__Look in "files," for my folder! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thesymbiote2/
i have a ps2 and a gamecube ... problem is their both females and even with my sick and twisted mind i have yet to find a way for two females to reproduce
That's a common problem: See, video game consoles have a multi-stage life cycle. The sendentary phase (GameCube, PS2) is female, and reproduces semi-asexually, giving birth to the moble phase (that touch screen gameboy, the PSP) which are male.
For a successful hybrid, you're going to want to mate a PSP with your GameCube. Gestation should take about 8 months, but there won't be any good games out for at least a 12.

Nice trouble-shooting, CK.
__But Fox, if you don't have a PSP, a team of genetic engineers would do as well. You need cells from both females, and ovum. It will be a cloning process with an additional step. Your scientists first remove the genetic material of the ovum. Then they use genetic material from both females to create a composite set of chromosomes. This is then induced to enter the ovum. And- voila!- the "offsping" of your Game-cube and PS2! No male necessary (let's phase them out! No? Too soon? We can secure and continue clone-lines of a select few, for purely recreational purposes...)
Here's one: What are the origins of the symbiote race?
I see it as being one of three ways,
1)The symbiotes evolved naturally to be symbiotes/parasites with native lifeforms
2)The symbiotes evolved naturally, but their ability to bond with as host is just coincidental.
3)The symbiotes were geneticly engineered, either by another race or by their own ancestors, for the purpose of bonding to hosts.
What does everybody think? I personally favor #3, as it seems to me that symbiotes solves many of the problems a space-faring race would ecounter. Symbiotes provide enchanced physical abilities (for war, heavy lifting, normal function in higher gravity), the ability to survive in hostile enviroments (means less terraforming needed on new planets), imporved health at no cost, free and indestructible clothing, companionship, ability to absorb new abilities from native life, etc.

Yes, I read a good essay that promoted that thesis. I find it plausible. On the other hand, I find a natural evolution (#1) just as persuasive. #2 seems unlikely.
