As long as you're okay with it, I'll add on more to my new story bit, just so that I can ease your writer's pain when you carry on from mine. Anyways, that's okay. Have you been reading those poems?
as in my poems saga about agent sands called forever in the dark? my recent and eigth installment to it was called sympathetic hangover? to refresh your memory, go to my xanga site, left side module, click on "my website" under my profile pic, which leads you to my ff.net profile, scroll down until you find that collection of poems/story.
I'll try to add more to my bit, if I don't or say I'm not, then you can on right ahead and do your's, but please give me a heads up when you do. Just in case I change my mind about something or get a new idea for the story. Savvy?
No longer do I desire to remember such dark times and linger in a place that brings up the past. My soul is already burdened with enough regrets and griefs to last me a lifetime. In this current state of mind, I do not take well to additional pain and feel as though I could crumble under the pressure of it all. With a heavy heart, I turn my back upon this place of old, so that I can quit torturing myself so. These stubborn, yet determined, pair of feet begin to wind their way back down the way from which I had come, towards the still lively town. I breach the border of soft glowing lights and enter a section of the town that was known for its esquisite taste in fashion. Just beyond this lane, nearly consumed by darkness with the exception of a few decorative torch lights, lighting the way to their sources of refuge, were some lodgings that seemed welcoming to me. I cast my gaze skywards to catch a glimpse to discover which phase the evening was in, which I found to be slowly growing fainter. That sign showed to my sensitive eyes that the sun was soon to peak the horizon in a couple of hours, so I must find a place to stay or else I would burn to ashes. Ashes. Just when that horrid memory began to resurface of Claudia's demise, I diverted its access to the back burner's of my conscious and being to concentrate more on the matter at hand.
Author's Note: Alright, I have now added a new paragraph to my recent bit. You now have the right of way to carry on, Jenni!
I'll get started on my piece as soon as i can......just gotta get my act together with all my hw the teachers just luuuuuuurve to pile it on *shakes fist*

alright then. you do that and best of luck. anyways, the next time i'm on, i have a lot of topics to bring up and discuss with you. but not tonight. don't have time. i'm just letting you know now in advance that i have tons of ideas to dump on you. lol anyways...later
Along a dirt road my footsteps fell, my gaze intense on the ground, as my mind so easily convinced me that the eyes of strangers were upon me, judging my curious appearance. I looked up. Not a single soul noticed me. Suddenly, laughter seized my ears. There they were, the people of New Orleans, happily parading down the velvet streets of night, not one dull frown on any one of their faces. Yet a frown began to stain my face at this site, quickly subsiding in panic, as I remembered dawn was approaching. Eagerly my feet pushed me along, as I searched for a place to stay to escape the terrible light.
My eyes found a cosy little Inn. I entered the doorway, surveying the place I would stay for the night. Vivacious voices of new unknowns echoed around the tattered walls, glistening lights shone through the darkness of the beautiful night, and the dull, yet charming structure of the building brought a small smile to my lips. I made my way to the front desk, placing my hands on the worn counter. With his back turned to me, the host of the Inn stood, not noticing my arrival. I cleared my throat slightly, attracting his attention. He turned around immediately, his cheerful manner overwhelming me. With a large, yet genuine smile on his face, he spoke. “Welcome to the Redway Inn, may I help you?” I smiled barely, as I would have felt awkward if I had not returned the merriment. “Yes, I would like to stay at your Inn for one night, perhaps more, if I change my mind.” “Very well then.” The man opened up a thick black book, turning it to a page to mark down my details of my stay, all the while, the same large smile upon his face. With his eyes still upon the page, he rubbed his chin, his unkempt facial hair brushing over his hand. He placed his pen down on the page, closed the book, and looked up at me. “I have found a vacant room for you to spend a few nights in if you wish. Will I take you to this room?” I nodded politely, “Yes, thank you.” From a wooden board hammered into the wall, he unhooked a key, placing it in his pocket. He started to walk, signalling to me to follow him. Slowly, my feet moved, following the Innkeeper where he walked. We came to a flight of stairs, and as his chubby legs moved up the stairs, the staircase began to creak slightly.

I have been thinking alot about what Louis could have brought with him as he fled france to the states. I wasn't quite satisfied with just accepting the idea that the brought back nothing with him. I would like to note that maybe he did bring a few things back, but nothing big, just enough to fit in his pockets or something like that...For example, Louis needs to at least be carrying around some money so that he can pay for stuff, like a stay at that Inn you mentioned. Hmm...money and what else? Maybe Claudia's locket? (Darn...too bad I didn't get the chance to tell you before you posted your new bit! *Although I haven't read that bit...but still!*)
Page Breaks
Just like in a novel and in the novel of Interview with the Vampire, there are page breaks to seperate certain events or time periods, to show time has passed. I was thinking, when I post our story bits, when the time calls for it, I post the story bits in the story thread with those kind of breaks. I would like to do that, so that we can seperate the time that Louis gets to bed to the time that he has already explored some of his hometown and then meets Dorian (and soon, Cassandra herself). Situations like that, when we need to. Besides, since we didn't start this story nor formed chapters, it's easier to just use page breaks. VC1 didn't have any marked chapters, just huge page breaks. (Sorry that this explanation got too wordy and lengthy!)
Minus the Coffin
Forgive me for reiterating myself here, but I just would like to say that it was a very good idea that we decided to have Louis part with sleeping in a coffin...for now (I guess). Other than showing the more human side of Louis' undead soul, it would get too weird later on in the story to keep having Louis sleeping in one and how Cassandra would have to deal with that. I know it could work, him in a coffin, but I would still prefer to exlude the coffin thing that vampires are so well known for. I mean...if you think about it, much later on in their relationship...Yeah. I'm done with this pointer.
Casting Julie Roberts as Cassandra Black
I love the version of Julie Roberts in her second music video, The Chance, because she's so pretty in it. Her hair and make-up really brings her looks out and all. Other pictures of her without makeup and hair up in other styles, don't seem to match up, meet my expectations for how I want Cassandra to look. So, when we describe Cassie, we'll base it off of Julie from that particular video. Everything else is fine, but as for her voice...Hmm...I saw her being interviewed on CMT once. She had a very southern belle sort of accent... Hmm...I was imaging her voice to sound more like Charlize Theron, or at least deep like her's. The reason that I didn't choose Charlize for the role is because she doesn't seem to fit my image of Cassandra. Cassie is a strong person, really, but had to appear in some way that she's fragile and needs emotional support. You know what I mean? (By the way, Cassandra Black was going to appear in my cancelled Van Helsing Prequel fic, with Charlize as her. Hmm...or maybe I should say post-ponted, the story that is.)
Startling Discoveries for the Soon-to-Be Lovers
Eventually, I would like to discuss with you on how Cassandra is going to find out that Louis is a vampire and Louis finding out she's a mutant, or more like her powers. I've got a few ideas, but I'll wait another time to discuss this. Don't worry, we don't have to discuss this point/event anytime soon. Just good to keep in mind to think and brainstorm about.
Creating Backgrounds
Also, we need to figure out a way of how meta-humans started appearing about the world or general area of where the story takes place. You know how there's a basic myth or common knowledge of how vampires came about and all? Or...at least we need to explain somewhat of how mutants started coming about and all...Yeah. Sorry, that wording came out crappy. For some reason, I just can't leave well enough alone and just have the mutants pop up like so. On more thing on background is that I have some ideas for the background of the Black Family, mostly about Dorian and Cassandra, but I won't mention that now. Please do remind me to bring that up again!
What about Antagonist(s)?
Shall we have any antagonists in the story? Maybe, like create some villians that are meta-humans, vampires, or just plain human? Also, should it even be a person or shall we just leave it as a situational/plot antagonist/conflict? We don't really need one for this story, but just thought I should ask at the least.
Who to Play Dorian Black?
I'm racking my brain for a good choice to play or imagine playing him. Hard to choose the perfect actor or person! I was kind of considering William Kemp...., but I'm still iffy on that one, even though I think he's a total hottie. William Kemp is a good choice. I'm casting him in so many of my fics. Also, on a higher note, he's the lead male characer in my upcoming fantasy story that I have been planning out for ages! But, I won't say a peep about that story...for now until I post it or something....^.^ Anyways, the reason I cast celebrities to imagine up as these characters, other than the reason I had given you before, is so that if we ever wanted to ask a pal to take altered pix and make it into a cover for our carry on story here, we could! Just for fun, again, don't have to. But I always like to do such things!
good ideas boppy.....I've read through them, and I myself will start to think of further plot ideas and such....
about the antagonists......I will leave it up to you if u want them in the story, but it really depends if you want the story to be more of a love story, rather than a story with a mixture of things....depends what the story's main focus is.....
lol....you can have will kemp as dorian if u want to...

I want the main focus of the story to be a love story, indeed. But a mixture would be nice, not necessary though. I'll mull it over some more.
You know what he looks like right? Didn't I post a pic of him in a thread about hot actors/actresses where we first met? Anyways, if not, let me know and I'll find an uber sexy one of him!
Yesterday night, I got a new idea or two to run by you, but I'll save that for later. Some prejudice drama. Reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" got me motivated and thinking about that topic and incorporating it into some of my stories. If we do that with our story, it won't be the main focus exactly...Well, tell you soon!
eheh...I don't quite remember if you did....lol....buuuuuut.....I've seen a pic of will kemp.....he's hot.....so i completely support your idea of having him play Dorian
okies....sounds good

Your most recent effort, as in your new story bit, works out nicely after all. For a while there, I was so worried about if I had to tell you to change it just because I didn't hand over the new ideas to you soon enough! *Phew* As for my upcoming story bit, I've already got in mind of what is to happen before we arrive to our very first page break. Basically, the inn keeper drops Louis off at his room for the 'day', he gets adjusted to the new surroundings, and soon gets to bed. Nothing special there. Then after I finish that event or we both do, there will be a page break. After that one, we'll advance ahead in time so that it's a few days or nearly a week later, where Louis has already gotten comfortable with his new living quarters, explored the city some more, taking in the new culture and so forth. Very soon in that section, he will meet Dorian and then Cassandra. Oh, by the way, about that inn keeper, maybe Louis and him can become mild friends, since he's going to be staying there for a while. We can develop a name for that man or not, since he's only a minor character, we don't have to worry about that too much. Alright, when I have the time, feel up and ready, and not working on new content for chapter three to Dead Man Walking or doing homework, I will surely get my new bit under way! Later, mon ami!
I already have a well developed idea of how I want to do my bit. Basically, I'll end the section of the story where Louis has returned to America and gets to sleep for the day. Then once I close the case of the opening sequence to the story, then we can move onto the next one, like I already went over with you earlier.
Oh, by the way...Have you seen Queen of the Damned, the movie? I saw it on Halloween on USA. I don't think you get that channel, after all, it's a US channel, more say. Anyways, QotD was better than I had expected it to be and had pros and cons about it. But, over all, an interesting movie. If you haven't seen it yet, I won't try to spoil the plot for you. Just want to say this, I was highly amused by the fact that Lestat has become a rock star. It ceases to amuse me, that is, no matter how many times I hear about it. LOL
After seeing QotD, it inspired and motivated me for ideas and such for future original stories, fanfictions, and much more...a possible sequel for Crimson Rose/ Interview with the Vampire & Queen of the Damned! I already have a rough brainstorm of the over all plot for it, too. I'll discuss with you more about it another time. Also, I hope, depending on whenever we complete this story, we'll get the chance to do the sequel before I leave for college or something. Would be great fun.
Oh, one more thing...please see Queen of the Damned!
