I'd rather read a comic drawn by my four year old sister than bachalo...

I just bought Astonishing X-Men 16 today and I've gotta say it was one of the best issues so far. Also has some of the funniest dialogue I have ever read in a comic.

Nobody does... stick out tongue

Alright, don't read this unless you've read AXM #13-16... spoilers n such...

the cover to AXM #19 shows a visor-less cyclops with the x-men, now, i don't know how people are going to react to this new cyclops...

me? i'm not sure yet... the visor was the physical representation of his fundamental need for control... does the fact that he wont need to control his powers take away from the character himself?

Are we going to see an all-singing, all-dancing carefree scott?

i'll also put this in the cyclops thread...

Frankly I think it's about time they did something like this. Character evolution. I mean it's been twenty years and Rogue still can't touch people? They know a man who can invent anything!

I just hope they dont end up ruining the character... cos a change like this... if it goes badly we're talking YEARS before its rectified...

and its more a retcon than evolution... stick out tongue

I trust Whedon to do it right. Thus far he's handled all the characters really well.

Scott does look weird without the visor though.
