You're underestimating Dredd's training. Dredd is as versatile as they come, as versatile as batman. As for the equipment, it's about even too. Especailly if you take into account that Dredd isn't opposed to using fire power.

"Punish the guilty and keep the inocent nervous"..........But the batman fanboys state: "With prep time and "files",Batman can beat anyone"....Well Dredd's got files too and needs NO prep time for anyone....Dredd is ready at all times to enforce the LAW........Judge Dredd is the LAW! Too bad the movie sucked
