Ugh no more information yet. They should just tell us. I'd be happy with "there's an I in his name" or something. That'd give us something to go on (and we would know it isn't Ned Leeds or something lol).
Ugh. This is ridiculous. There's a few possibilities, but too much argument. We all know that there are gonna be two villains in this one. Most likely they will be either:
Green Goblin 2
Venom
Why don't we just leave it at that? People's opinions are getting thrown in because of bias, and it's just getting annoying.

there's your two villains, gg2/harry has been boiling for two movies already and sandman was just plain confirmed.
unless there is going to be Venom in it, which will make 3 villains but that wont be any good, it'll be like batman and robin, 3 villains...you know that route

Exactly. Ock is just pissed that his character is dead, and they butchered him in the movie, and Silverstein doesn't really like him either. I'm just gonna run through Sony's official listing here of the possiblities.
Hobgoblin (Macendale or Kingsley) - Could happen, but after 2 movies of Goblindom, people are getting annoyed with the whole Osbourne/Parker feud.
The Scorpion - Would be totally random, and that would just bring in another 2D villain.
Dock Ock - Dead, and good riddance. Making him a schitzo was stupid.
Carnage - Yeah, right.
Chameleon - Totally random, and 2D
Electro - Annoying and sucks at life. Nobody would like him.
Hydro-Man - Maybe, and Topher could play him, but rather unlikely, unless him and Sandman get together to make a new villain called Mud.
Kraven the Hunter - Oh I could only wish
Jackal - Only if Topher plays a clone.
Lizard - That could be probable, and I wouldn't mind it.
Mysterio - Snore
Rhino - needs kingpin
Green Goblin - (he is listed) One of the other more probable ones.
That just brought me to something. Topher could be the Scarlet Spider! If they bring in Jackal, that would be amazing.
well obviously people are annoying at the repetition of the Goblin thing. but its going to happen. by the way i LIKE Venom, but i dont like topher grace as eddie brock/venom
Chameleon wouldnt be random, its raimi's style to bring chameleon in but thank god he didnt. Raimi picks villains that can represent a conflict; peter/mj relationship problems could face the ultimate test in SP3, what other villain than Chameleon right?
but raimi is getting unpredictable. the logical thing for him to do is bring the 2nd Goblin in or make him The HobGoblin so it isnt the same. but where is all this goblin/harry proof?in Spiderman 1 and 2. Sandman is confirmed already...i dont see where venom/eddie would fit in, he COULD have fit in since sp1, since parker got better spidey photos than eddie.

And since when is Ock MY character??? I'm a fan of his yes,but I don't own him.And he had a whole movie to himself.Can't say the same about Venom.
And if you think Ock was butchered,what do you think a pint sized little cutie boy like Topher playing Venom is going to be like?? And having to share screen time with Sandman,one of the most boring villains EVER!!! Along with MJ and Gwen Stacy.Two women.One was bad enough.

Villains like Scorpion and Mysterio are great villains,and far more 3 dimensional than Venom is.
