But then we'd need 1000 plethysmograph devices to fit each indivisual penis!
So lets just take one person...100% statistics are the best anyways.

Bull-****ing-shit. Don't start with that "close-minded conservative" crap. It wasn't wrong for the man to come out; it was wrong for him to **** up his family life by ditching his wife and kids for another man. It'd be no different if he were a straight guy chasing skirts.
That pretty much sums it up...

Well, Fece got a point, it's not really different to a straight guy deciding to **** other woman than mommy now....
It doesn't change the fact that Fece is willing to carry disdain for the guy, simply because he's gay. And it's sad to me. As far as I'm concerned, it's more tragic that the guy spent years living in denial v. being honest with himself and his family.

Yeah, poor sad thing living in denial, sure it's shit, but when he started a family and that he had the responsibility to consider them too.

And I'm sure he did for a number of years.

Well, once he married and had kids it was kinda done. But sure it is a shit situation, it is very reasonable to blame the father in this case...

Fine. Blame him for leaving, not for being gay.

Of course, and even then it's not the whole story. And that's what Fece was saying when he compared it to someone that has an affair and leaves his family.

You know, people get divorced everyday. And this situation is no worse because the guys dad was gay. And you're right, we don't know the whole story. But if this guy was gay, then he and his wife were having far more serious issues than the kid ever knew. We can all agree that people don't just decide to become gay, so it took a lot of willful ignorance on the part of the wife and family, on top of the guy living in the closet. I don't know any gay people who come out and actually take people by suprise by telling them. If the father was living in denial, then so was the kid and his family.

Maybe, but the father wa the one that started the family and then left them, for what reason ever. So that is reasonable anger. To hate him because he is gay, that is what's stupid.

Whob, are you done ignoring what I'm saying and trying to paint me as the bad guy, or should I try and wait it out?

Or was it wrong that he felt the need to 'closet' himself for so long because of societies negative view on homosexuals? Do you think if gays had every right and every bit of respect as straight people he would have ever been with a woman let alone married one and had a child?
Straight men ditch their families all the time for other women, yet it isn't as horrible as a gay man doing it, why is that?
This is probably the only instance were I blame society and not the person.
Oh, so it's SOCIETY'S fault that he built his entire family on the basis of a lie, because he was too scared to admit he was gay. How about a little personal responsibility for once, instead of blaming everything on homophobia?

Yes it is Society's fault. Homophobia is very real and present, and if it didn't exist, then he would have no reason to hide it

I agree that it is partly societies fault, but not fully, he still chose to have a family...

Most likely because he thought he could "turn straight" if he got married and had children. That's what Christians say to gay people isn't it ? Leave behind your "sinful ways" and live the way we want you to...
Then they get mad when a Gay Person admits who he is, and no longer chooses to live the lie....

Well, same reasoning could go for anyone who thought they could be a monogamist. Yet, when someone cheats on their wife it's usually said to be his fault. Doesn't sound fair.

Yeah. I am jsut saying that a son of such a divorce might very well blame the person that is responsible for it.
