Yeah, that is an indication of an ellipsis. But simply leaving out specific words is an ellipsis regardless of the three dots being used. So, chillmeistergen is absolutely right that I did make use of ellipsis, multiple times throughout our conversations actually.
I doesn't change my initial point that it is simply wrong and needs to be changed to make more sense. Because I am used to your posting habits, I am able to pick up MORE on your meanings than I used to be.
5 months ago I would have assumed that YOU cried and went away...because I am literal like that.

It was relatively clear. At least if you take your post into account. Agreed, it takes a bit of thinking, but it's not too hard, really. Either way, I considered changing it for clarity, decided it would sound shit.

I agree, however, these things are lost in text, especially on one who interprets things literally. This poses problems when it comes to idioms and the first definition of ellipsis. When we are talking to each other face to face, these things are far from lost and we almost subconsciously understand each other, despite the literal interpretations of the spoken words. Relative to other ways I like to communicate, I am not one for subtle communication.
I find the way you post rather difficult at times...same thing with DK.
Also, I was obviously thinking of the text version of "ellipsis". I thought Chill's initial post about them was another jab at me for using ellipsis. Because of this, I automatically assumed that Chill's "sentence" was referring to my frequent and improper use of ellipses. Here is an example in which ellipses caused the wrong interpretation of the intended meaning. From then on out, I thought he was referring to the text version when he said you were using ellipsis. (The idea became ingrained...this type of "one track mind" is the kind of shit that gets me in trouble.)
However, in your sentence, you simply eliminated essential pronoun's that would enable your sentence to make sense. The meaning has to be derived, despite the fact that it simply is not a complete thought. The inferred meaning can be derived, however, you eliminated too many pronouns for your sentence to logically flow. Granted, you are not going for eloquence OR to be understood.

What does this have to do with chosen or genetic?
Off topic.
Bardock's use of ellipsis doesn't seem flawed at all, to me. I made perfect sense of it without having rigidly followed the discussion.
The '...' feature of ellipsis that you seem so fixated on, is there to show that there has been an omission of words. There are other uses for it, obviously - but yeah, you do use it incorrectly rather a lot.

Not necessarily. Though I obviously agree with the not chosen thing.
