Yea really.. this is only the beginning.. American Idiot made it very obvious that Green Day is only going up from here.. I hope Mike and Tr� get more involved with writing next time!!!

Good Charlotte are just about one of the biggest Green Day rip offs ever.

As for Green Day "conforming" to mainstream Pop-Rock, they've always been Punk Rock with Pop elements in there since "Dookie".

How does that work.. Green Day's music is nothing like GC's and Green Day's been around like twice as long as GC..

Conforming? In my opinion the only thing they are focused on right now is rebelling against Bush whether it make them famous or not

does anybody know about there first album 1039/Smooth Out Slappy Hours

i would like to talk about that

it was when they were underground and werent part of a major label...
this is there best album imho...this album, kerplunk (there second album), dookie, and american idiot are my favorite....american idiot though is different but in a good way
