Now you respond...Yes he can. The odds just aren't as heavily in his favor anymore.
English lesson, If odds are just not as heavily in favor anymore...that means they are still in favor, just not by as steep a margin. Therefore you either cannot understand/speak enlish, or you are stating indirectly, but surely, that Wolverine is STILL the favorite in this battle even without the use of his claws.
Now you say without claws, he's not. Then you challenge me to quote you, stating that you know what you said. Well if you know what you said, then you should know you flip flop all day. ANd perhaps it's just me, but someone who flip flops all day, their opinion is worth nothing.

I mean that is the point of these threads correct? To clarify and help promote understanding of WHY a character is likely to accomplish something. Right?

huh? he doesn't have unbreakable nerves, and he has been rendered unconscious many times in battles. cap could most certainly 'injure' him, and a traumatic enough blow - say an adamantium shield to the throat that would damn near behead him - (i'm not even sure his neck IS protected by adamantium - when he battled spidey he told spidey all spidey had to do was snap his neck and spidey would win. wolvie knew spidey wouldn't do that though.) i'd say almost being beheaded would be traumatic enough, and i dare say it might hurt the little guy.

Now who is taking the other person's comments out of context? My point in the other thread was that numbers are somewhat irrelevant regarding maximum strength. It says captain America can press 800lbs...the Human maximum. Meanwhile another website claimed batman could press around 750lbs.
What I then explained was that men today press in excess of 1000lbs so it would not be ridiculous for them to say that batman can press 1000lbs. After all, in the 1970s, 724lbs was the maximum world bench press record and at that time is when Batman could supposedly press around 750lbs. Is it not plausible that as time changes...so do the way comic characters abilities are described? I mean the whole point of Cap america is that he's as fit as the most fit olympic athlete for each category...it would only seem logical that the numbers match or surpass the numbers in real life...and if the real life numbers increase, why wouldn't the comic book ones?
And please...I am not MM, I don't have telepathic abilities. All i know is what I've read...and what i read is what you wrote. And what you wrote...as I have quoted...has you stating that wolverine is the favorite
ummmm you are aware that batman couldn't dead lift a rock that was 650 pounds AND submerged in water right?
he ain't bench 1000 pounds....it's that simple....about as simple as my belief that captain america would stomp on wolvie......
