and im a new york native, so thats not to support the team that wins all the time either, i just dont like the mets....so leave me alone i was a yankee fan since i was 4
Well... i'm only a Red Sox fan cause i hate the Yankees.... and about 1 half of there fans only like them cause they win.. but u have a valid reason... u live in NY... and u liked them since u were 4....
I have no problem with the true Yankee fans that grew up with the team and know and love baseball. I do have a problem with the Yankee fans that know jack shi* about baseball and only go to games and wear Yankees clothes just because they win so much, which is the same for a lot of Laker fans too.

I hate New York because most of the fans are total pricks. Yep, that's about the only reason. Oh, and because they've bounced us from the playoffs every year we've played them(except this one).
Those are about the only two reasons. I could care less about Babe Ruth...A-Rod...And all the other crap that the media brought up during that series. If Yankee fans in general weren't such pricks, I wouldn't hate the team any more than any other team...
Indeed. Personally, I pick the wrong teams to follow.
I'm a native of Pittsburgh so, the Penguins(last place), Pirates(terrible), and Steelers(gettin' better) are all on my list.
I don't know why I picked Boston but, for the last 11 years I've been following them...Not hardcore becuase, frankly, I can't see their games.
I did go to the "turn back the clock night" last year, though. I sat in a drizzle for 2 and a half hour delay to finally see them cancel the game at 9:30. Then, they reschedule it on a day that I couldn't go to. The ONE TIME in literally 100 years that I could see the Sox play(in person) and I can't go. I was pretty upset.
I do plan on making a trip to Bawstahn in the near future to sit on the Green Monster...Those look like the coolest seats in baseball.
I'm a Yankee fan, have been as long as I can remember. I am so tired of people hating them because "they always win". They sucked for much of the 80's and early 90's while Boston was winning the East. People conveniently forget that for damn near every year that the wild card has been in place Boston has been right behind the Yankees in both payroll and playoff appearances. I hope the Red Sox win. Maybe people will stop hating on the Yankees.
It's not just that they win, it's that they buy their championships( not this year )
I mean nobody should have a payroll of $180 million, and that is why a lot of people hate them because they ruined the tradition and classic feel of baseball with all the money they spend. It isn't just them I understand, but they are one of the biggest reasons why.
