i'm particularly interested in the role that Garp will play in the coming issues...
we know he is loyal to the marines, but at the same time he has displayed some affection albeit in a weird way to Luffy, even proud of him, and of course the fact that he also raised Ace...
and it would be interesting how a meeting between Garp and Whitebeard will play out, aside from Gol D. Roger being their common denominator, WB seems to hold Garp in high esteem along with Sengoku...
What I've been wondering though, is why exactly the shibukai actually bothered joining the world government. I mean the only individuals in the government who can take the shibukai are the admirals, maybe Garp and possibly Sengoku. They kinda have a numbers advantage.
Conveniance, they are allowed to do nearly anything they want.
The Admirals are actually stronger than most Shichibukai IMO, Garp is comparable, and Sengoku is probably even stronger, he was an admiral you know. You have to remember, the Navy is but one branch of the World Government, it is filled with powerful characters, like Magellan for instance, who is comparable to a Shichibukai. Then there is the numbers advantage.
Forgot all about Magellan. Dude's the second strongest character we've seen so far IMO.I wonder if Sengoku is stronger then Garp, as IMO it seems that Garp is only low-ranking because he chooses to stay there.
How? To negate the other Devil fruit users Blackbeard has to touch them, which would just get him poisoned, and fankly while powerful he doesn't seem that fast, so he couldn't dodge a splash attck.
I really like how Luffy is in the fray, but for all his strength, he's shown that he's still not good enough to go toe-to-toe with the big dogs. It also shows just how ****ing insanely powerful the real heavy hitters in One Piece are. o.O

Sengoku and Garp seem ready to join the Admirals, and if that's not enough, i'm still hoping and waiting for an appearance from the world's most wanted man...
honestly, OP is at the top of the manga foodchain right now IMO...
nice ending, Marco in phoenix form, who for a while stalemated Kizaru, just got derailed by the express train known as Garp's fist of love...
i know, i know, the above statement is a bit of a stretch...
anyway...
Sengoku seemed a bit surprised with Garp joining the utter pandemonium, considering that the admirals were already in the midst of battle...
it's been hinted that Garp's stature and reputation sort of outstrips his rank, so does this mean that the Admirals come before Garp as a line of defense?...
**end of Garp wanking**

I'm gonna say that Sengoku and Garp turn the tide for the navy, then Dragon arrives and they free Ace. The Navy will still have the advantage however, and a retreat will be necessary, with Whitebeard having an epic "You shall not pass" moment, sacrificing himself.
