Remember we're arguing against selsective parts of the real world, we do NOT argue about comic books. because that is illogical in a comic book debate.

If you don't like any logic at all then tune in to Tiny Toons...If you can't come up with a logical explanation for a Spidey defeat (Though it may come at the cost of SOME brainwork) like many others have done, don't assume that a completely illogical one will work just as well... Comics aren't void of logic..some people on the other hand...
it's not logic...that we're debating...it's the use of which types of logic....you guys are trying to apply real world logic to comic books that doesn't have relivence in the comic book world.....we're either to stick with the comics.....or we can use real world logic where parker gets sick from a spider bite and batman probably tumbles off of a rooftop somewhere.........

You know.... you're right and after some thought on the matter I'd have to say that Wolverine's Stats should be allowed to grow as well as anyone else and to whatever degree is allowed by Marvel. The problem is that his power spikes and THEN it FALLS back to a lower level that is comparative to his original bio. with no explanation... that's frustrating because Wolvie has proven to be able to hang with the hulk so he should be able to hang with Thor and Superman as well....And it all started with a guy who was not much stronger than cyclops...How much sense does that really make? I've already stated that I feel that he's the only real challenge in the trio.
it doesn't make sense.....but then again marvel doesn't make much sense.... how the hell was wolverine a functional member of the new avengers, while teaming up with the fantastic four, while being on the blue, gold, and red x teams, while being brainwashed by hydra and assasssinating his own teamates he was fighting with in the same month?
it doesn't make sense....that's why it's comics....

No one said anything about Wolvie's healing being negated. It's about the only thing that makes him a FU****G CHALLENGE.
Secondly I never said true real life but things do apply regardless.

And if they didn't make references to real things, we would have no idea how strong they are.
I.E if Spidey could stop a train, fight with people like they're in slow motion, and sense attacks before they happen, we could classify him as pretty powerful.
This ain't Dragonball Z, everyone is not uber-strong. People in the comics die from natural causes all the time. Uncle Ben: BUllet, Gwen Stacy;Broken neck,upon numerous examples.
Bottom line: Brain Cells cannot repair themselves, wolvie can still suffocate or drown, bones break even in the comic book world.
And like I said earlier, SUPER STRONG PEOPLE CAN BE OVERPOWERED, SUPER FAST PEOPLE OVERWHELMED, SUPER SMART PEOPLE TRICKED, AND SUPER DURABLE PEOPLE KNOCKED THA FU** OUT!! Spidey can incapacitate wolvie,I NEVER SAID WITH ONE PUNCH,I said he doesn't have to touch skeleton. Obviously he could recover, but it would take precious time spidey would use to his advantage.
All this and i didn't even mention webs.

All I'm saying is that common sense logic should be used SOME of the time... For example if you say Spider-man survived falling into lava, I'm gonna say that's garbage whether you like it or not...It's OBVIOUSLY Illogical!! Wolverine can have superhuman abilities because he's NOT human! Quite logical Cap can survive a punch from a guy who can punch through solid steel like its cardboard? Illogical... Spidey beat hulk with bare hands... illogical..
see the thing is....you're trying to use real world logic where real world logic doesn't apply...and what happens when that starts to become a promblem (i.e. immediately) is we start getting into a semantic debate....I came here to debate comic book characters in a COMIC BOOK vs. forum....I don't know....it's just that there is no definitive spiderman, no definitive wolverine, no definitive captain america or daredevil...all we have to go by is feats....the reason why we spend so much time debating these things the reason why we love these characters is because we've come to know them, to understand them, through their "life experiences".....when someone skims through a couple graphic novels at the local book store, and looks up some "stats" about the character and think they know all there is to know about the character...it pisses me off.....really....like I said...this is a comic book versus forum that's what I'm here to debate...so lets do that....

I never said anything about using pure world logic, I am using comic logic when I say a superpowered person hitting a superpowered person in the stomach, it will usually knock the wind out of him.
I make my own comics to ya know and you need to have something as a reference, because in reality, comic heroes are simply what we want to be. Everything from the basic drawings to the situations, drama, and trauma have been derived from human life.
Besides Spidey and Caps are strategists, and who can count how many times that Spidey has used science to discover one's weakness and win, or caps would probably say to a team, HULK is too strong for you, don't trade hits with him.
You do need something to base this on, if Juggy powerpunches a human they go splat, if he punches a superhero theystill get hurt a lot.
That is all.
Except fanboy powered characters, like your spidey. . . I mean he one punches wolcerine in your own mind despite MARVEL's spiderman NEVER being able to onepunch MARVEL's wolverine ONCE in any of their encounters.

Or Marvel's characters the way marvel wants them rather than the way their fans want them.
And obviously things have been changed like exposing radiation to a human will kill a real human if its a high enough dose of radiation, instead of imbueing them with superpowers like in the comic world.
Or they just go flying. . . as they tend to. . . I've never seen someone "splat" the way they're supposed to . . .
Juggernaut is stronger than any of the x-men, physically invulnerable and has a helmet that shields his mind from psionic attacks? He must stomp all of the X-men in ALL of their encounters.
I mean the stats are overwhelmingly in his favor, there is nothing the X-Men could possibly do!
(except develop a stretgy to get the helmet off of him so that their psionics can beat him. Like they DO. . . )
