You know the best part of being the head of the mages guild? The freaking posh room in the top of the tower.
The herb-growing chest, and just a place to chill. Not that inn fees are killing me, but I feel safe leaving a bunch of inventory stuff I don't really use but don't have the balls to sell, and it's a free night's sleep.
So forget actually being a competent mage (I heal and open locks...that's 95% of my spell-casting), I'm just glad I have the room. Enchanting items comes in handy too. I can't see any of the other guilds giving me those kind of benefits (especially since I already have a sidekick, which is the big reward from I think the fighter's guild).

If you leave stuff on the groud out in the open, do people steal it? I've never tried it, it'd be awesome if you could go hide in a corner, wait for someone to steal it, then run to the guards and get them thrown in prison for a day or two, then have them come out with a low disposition against you

Is that the new Knights of the Nine armor? I dont think I've seen it before..

Nice draw distance, could have improved grass distance though, especially on PS3 hardware, there no way the game could lag.

Nah, I've left stuff in the middle of cities, and no one seems to steal it (though it's just random clothes and such, so maybe they just don't want filthy clothes).
P.S. Sweet Sauron skin/armor. One of the better character-specific Mods I've seen.

Yeh was playing today, found out a nifty glitch. I was doing the quest where I jumped into the painting to help find the artist. I was level 1 at the time, and was barely managing to put away 1 troll, let alone 6 ,until i found something nifty. If you get the trolls to follow you back to the beginning, where the artist is, wait for a sec, and the artist runs up and one shots the troll with his fists Lol, made my job alot easier.

You guys know about the Testing Hall? Its filled with every piece of armor and every weapon etc...and outside is Hawkhaven, theres a merchant there with something like 65000g. Anyways type in the console 'coc testing_hall' or 'coc testinghall' cant remember how to type it. Theres a door to Hawkhaven, but if you want to get there quickly its 'coc Hawkhaven'. You cant get to Hawkhaven from the outside, and you cant run away from it, you have to either fast travel or type 'coc Bravil' or something.

Huh? Sounds kinda cheap...I'll probably avoid it. But thanks for the tip (if I ever get curious).
I have a Mod that creates a gigantic mansion that, among other things, has every ingredient in the game in a giant garden. Costs 75000 to own, though, so I don't have access to it yet (it's blocked until you buy it). Because that house + magic chest in mages guild = unlimited ingredients for anything.

I really only use it if I start a new game and dont want to spend time collecting gold and looking for some decent armor and weapons to use, just teleport, pick up some stuff, teleport out and start my story. Or if you have some expensive items and cant find a decent merchant. It wouldnt really matter anyway, cause even if you took a full set of Daedric armor, your heavy armor skill will be too low to use it properly.

Got a question, does the price of training go up with your level, because that really does blow if its true, seeing that im skint the majority of the time.

I think so but that doesn't really matter cuz the more you level up, the more you earn from missions, chests and other stuff, in other words don't worry about that.

okay im playing the 360 version and i need some tips to get my character better.
okay, i progressed 10 levels with speechcraft, but when i went to level up my personality feat didnt have any bonus levels that i could use, arent you supposed to get like +1 on the governing attribute for every two levels you up a skill for?
how should i go about getting my intelligence and willpower better quickly?
i leveled up at least 3 times with both restoration and destruction and at least once with alteration so shouldnt willpower have had at least a +3? all it had was a +2. and i know i gained at least 3 or 4 levels for alchemy and my intelligence didnt even have a booster on it. did i misunderstand the whole boosting thing? cuz its not working the same way it did in morrowind.
any help with this would be really appreciated

Hmmm, well when I want to lvl up quickly and get 5+ on willpower I just spam the open easy door/chest spell on a door or chest while I watch TV.
As for intellegence, I get items that boost it and Alchemy is just boring if you ask me, a total waste of time.

Yeah so I finally beat the game and it was absolutely incredible... but frikin Baurus and Jaufree died, and by the time I found out I couldn't go back to save them. But anyway, does anyone know how I can sell something thats well over 2000 gold? I can't find anyone who has more than 1200 gold to spare...

There is a mod out somewhere which increases merchant gold as your mercantile skill goes up, definitely a must have mod. Or go the Hawkhaven

Does anyone else think that Fallout is going to be lame with Morrowind-esque graphics?
