Here's a pic that just surfaced of an action figure of Palpatine when he fights Mace (notice his costume, and the lightsaber handle).
That means his transformation happens between that fight and the part of the trailer where he fights Yoda.

Maybe Palpatine teaches Anakin how to bring someone back to life with the dark side of the force, and then Mace Windu confronts Palpatine and whacks him in the forehead with his lightsaber and kills him and then Anakin brings Palpatine back to life, in the process of which Palpatine becomes deformed by the dark side power.
(Just speculation, but I thought it was an interesting idea.)

I dont know if this has been said, sorry if it has. But the actor who played the Emperor in ROTJ is the actor who plays Palpatine/Darth Sidious/Emperor in the new movies.

Just so as you dont get flamed too bad here, Lousy boy.....
Yes, we know that IAN MCDIARMID plays both roles in these movies. We're waaaaaaaaay past that point sweetie. Most of the folks here are not newbies who just stumbled across SW. We've been watching, and dare I say studying these movies, for some of us since 1977.
Considering that, writing a post about a cast member who's been around for 20 years is only gonna cause you alot of grief from alot of people here.
Thanks for helping to keep the debate going, but unless you want people to make some really mean comments, you might wanna read through the threads to see how knowledgeful most of us are on SW (it's sad in a way....lol) before posting something as so widely known as this in the future.

Well.. i appreciate the kind words from PVS. Bilbo wants me to "recognize" the the knowledge of the people on this forum which i cant always do cause there have been people who had NO IDEA that Darth Sidious was Chauncellor Palpatine, along with people not knowing that James Earl Jones was continuing the voice of Vader and also.. someone thought that ROTS was NOT being directed by George Lucas. So with the fair share of impressive knowledge that i have read on this board there has also been a decent amount of.. embarrasing ignorance. So yes, i do know how "knowledgeful" you people are, but i cant say that for everyone here.

I see your point Lousy, but being here since april you should have a good idea by now who knows their SW and who's more or less full of it. And yes, thank you from the bottom of my heart for not opening a new thread.

JP and bilbo, i want to thank YOU for somehow, inadvertanly, making me NOT want to go off on a certain someone. "no new threads" is a good idea, but, and speaking from experience on both sides, you may want to start off by saying "uninformed inaccuracies" rather than "embarrasing ignorance". Just because someone doesnt know a certain area of a certain topic, doesnt mean they're ignorant. Ignorance is not knowing and refusal to learn. So while your input is appreciated, your initial restraint of downtalking to "us people", would also be appreciated, as Im sure some of "us people" know things that you could be called "embarassingly ignorant" about.

Err first of all, I most certainly did NOT talk down to anyone, and secondly I never used the term "embarrasing ignorance", so I have no earthly idea what you are talking about.

Hey Lousy... get over it!
I was trying to be nice you idiot! I was trying to keep someone from getting flamed and I was respectful. You, however, are so effing full of yourself you cant even tell the difference between a flame and a nice suggestion.
Knock yourself out...show us all your ignorance. You just opened yourself up to alot of crap that never needed to happen.
Have fun, I'm gonna sit back & watch the show.

I believe he/she was talking about me... And, I really dont understand what he/she is trying to say other than... "Stupid noob". With that in mind, all I have to say is maybe Dark Subjekt should reanalyze their definition of ignorance. And I dont think i was talking down to anyone, atleast I was not attempting to. If your so self-conscience about yourself that you thought i was talking down to you then I apologize. To me ignorance also includes someone saying "knowledgeful" rather than "knowledgeable".
