Biologically males are more durable and stronger than females. I'm not taking the stance of "Men are better" so don't confuse the issue.
Perfect example: How many women are capable of raping a man? How many men are capable of raping a woman? Exactly. Why? Coz it comes down to size and power, something that is lacking in the female department when compared to men in general.
I got nothing against women trying out for anything, however in England there's a women's football (or soccer) league. They play at professional level but it's rarely televised etc. If that's what women want then fine. No team in the NFL is gonna let a woman play for the simple reason that they wanna win, not lose.
If it was a choice between winning the superbowl or being known as the first team to have a female player, what are they gonna pick? We both know the answer.
American Football is a full-contact, fairly dangerous sport. It is not a sport for women to play on the same field as men. Whether you like it or not.

Yes but that was purely because of sexism. As for politics, you can learn politics. Can a woman learn how to take a charge from a couple of hundred pounds of Quarterback? No. No one can, you see what happens to some of the male players out there. Women would get broken in half.

I think the fact that there was a woman on Colorado State's football team proves that women are able to play the game. The reason why she's the only girl who plays is because
a.) other athletic women don't want to play
b.) women aren't athletic enough to keep up with men
The girl on Colorado State was a field goal kicker...she didn't play a skill position.

You're right, little tiny women who have no muscle and struggle while trying to lift 30 pounds is not going to have a chance period. But a strong, determined woman, can have a chance. Dude thats a** crap man!!! Females mess all the sports that men do!! pfft! I do agree that we messed up Basketball, but have you seen us play socer?!! Sh1t we rock! Mia ham, and all those other ppl won the gold, you cant say they were bad.
And also, men DO particapate in synchronized swimming, you just dont see it very often.~~
So yes i agree that girls should be allowed to play in football, but not with men, seriouslly we'd get hurt. (!)

this is all a bunch of bull shit..sure there are women out there who would get seriously hurt but there are men who would get equally hurt too but they at least get the chance to try out..women aren't even given a chance to show what they can do..i guarantee you there are PLENTY of women who could kick a guys ass at football and i see absolutely NO reason why girls shouldn't be allowed to play football...you guys can try to name reasons but none of them are gonna be accurate or even close to the truth
If a female can hit, run and take hits like a male, then there is no reason for her not to play. But that is very unlikely. This isnt about sexism or anything like that, its fact males are stronger and bigger than females.
Yes, they are females that are big and do that, so let them try out. . Football is played by big people. Little people cant play unless their crazy.
I think sports should be categorized by gender. I dont see anythign wrong with it. If you allow females play in a male league, why cant males play in a female league.
the fact is that woman dont have nearly as much muscle mass as men, unless steroids are invovled. This isnt to say that woman cant be as athletic as men, but in a sport ruled by strength, woman wouldnt see playing time even if they were allowed to play.

Women won't get "equally hurt". What a silly silly thought. Are women SO eager for equality that they believe they now have the same biological pain threshold and physical abuse tolerance that males do? They do not, fact.
As for there being plenty of girls who can kick a guy's ass at football, maybe. However, since when was it a one on one game? How well is a female going to do against multiple big, muscular human walls running toward her with the sole intent of introducing her to the floor? She will be in pieces. The male body is more suited to that by nature, it's not about being better.
You would need to AT LEAST be a female body builder of the highest order to play on a male team against males and even then, you females are losing your aim here.
Isn't the aim to reach points of equality while maintaining the feminine essence? Then wouldn't you consider it a bit hypocritical to wanna be like a man in appearance to do a man's thing? Would you not consider it a bit unusual to say "We're all about female equality with men but we aren't above butching ourselves up to look like them"?

That would be field hockey, and actually in highschool two of my friends wanted to try out for the field hockey team (mostly to make a point) and they were rejected because they were guys.
Physically woman generally don't attain the physical size needed to play competitive full contact football. Their are exceptions, but
Quarterbacks are generally above 6 feet and over 200 pounds
Runningbacks and fullbacks are usually 5'10+ and 200-260 pounds
Tightends are 6'2+ and upward of 240+ pounds
Offensive Lineman are 6foot + and can be 290 to over 330 pounds
Recievers are 5'11+, 190+ pounds
Linebackers are 6 feet and over 210 pounds
Defensive Lineman are 6foot + and can be 270 to over 330 pounds
Defensive Backfield are 5'10 to 6'2 and are 185-220 pounds
You are not gona get many physically fit woman at those sizes.
The other thing is that football is a violent sport. Sorry but that is just a fact. And when women do compete in football you almost have to reprogram many players that it's o.k. to hit her just as hard as you would a guy. That can be a bit of a slippery slope.

Why say something then come back after you've been proven wrong and say "Yeah that is true, women aren't as physically fit as men."?
This is why alot of women don't get far when they make speeches. Too fast to speak out against any and every man without taking the time to listen or read.
