i agree...i rooted for notre dame only because he was there coach..thats was bullshit..he didnt even get a fair shake

21-15 over three years at Notre Dame? THE football university in the US? No, they expect to contend for the title every year, not go to the Insight bowl.

it hasnt been THE football university in the US since lou holtz left them....you need time to rebuild a program...you need time to recruit players and teach your system to the players....the first two years he coached he coached bob davies players...this was the first year he was coaching the players he recruited and they were either freshman or sophmores...do you think when coach K first took over duke they were an elite program in college basketball?
