Yes. That is considered a major, revolutionary gaming change in the eyes of Halo fans. "OH MY GOD I JUST KICKED HIM OFF THE BIKE!". It's like Homer seeing a blue car.

Board vehicles? You mean FEATURE vehicles? Is that what you mean? Just so I can be clear when I shamelessly counter you. It wasn't the first game to feature vehicles, nor game to feature boarding of vehicles.

Gravity Lifts were in 2, also the first in a few places, bubble shields do not change the gameplay at all, mines? Wow, Goldeneye had many kinds of mines. Star Wars: Dark Forces had many kinds of mines for crying out loud. They're not changing gameplay by doing that.

Not that I care because as shin_gear said, if it's fun, so what? Even though I think games should be less acceptably generic, if you enjoy it, then go for it. My point was that people shouldn't be making false claims for Halo.

I think Halo is very well made game that sticks to its guns, but well made none less.

I rather have a game that is extremely well made, then a game that tries to do something, but its not fun to play, even though there something new.

Agreed. Halo may not be "innovative", but it does what it does well. It's generally very well balanced (You can kill anyone with pretty much anything.) and the story is solid, not too mention that Multiplayer system is awsome.

It's hard not to do well when all it's doing is being a FPS, really. It's not hard to be mediocre, and sometimes that is worse than being shit.

Coldplay are a safe band for most people. I'm sure you see my point now.

Whoa; actually you've been going on and on and on and on and on and on and on for many, many pages. Okay we get it; you don't like Halo. Big deal. A game doesn't have to be innovate to be good. Simplicity in a game is a good thing to have.

Why do people keep overlooking the fact that I have also said you don't need to?

Are Halo fans allergic to people not being homosexual over Master Chief? It's a thread for Halo discussion, I'm discussing Halo. If people are allowed to continually give praise, unjust in may cases, I'm allowed to continually give my opinion.
