Beaver's creek is sweet.

My favorite maps are Turf and Sanctuary.

I used to love Lockout...but god that's the map everyone plays and it gets annoying. It's so ridiculous they hardly even know how to play in other maps.

I haven't played Turf or Sanctuary in a while but I remember them as being fairly well balanced maps.

I liked the map from the 1st halo, with the waterfall in it (covenant corridor textures)... I also liked hang em high from 1st halo.. maybe we'll get hi-def remakes in 3? ;_;

I doubt it.

We already got a Hang em high remake for Halo 2 named Tombstone. I doubt Bungie will be remaking the map a second time.

Don't slam it, it was excellent at the time.

It's just that Halo 2's multiplayer was better than it, and so forth. Something that was good before isn't instantly labelled as "bullshit" simply because its successor surpassed it, or other games after Halo CE for that matter.

About 90% of "Haloites" would disagree with you anyways.

Coming onto a Halo thread and slamming the first instalment's multiplayer isn't probably a smart thing to do unless you have some good reasons because of it, pertaining to the game directly itself and excluding others and relatively.

So? Any good reasons?

90% of the world would probably disagree with me liking ICP, and yet I still do. I'm not trying to win a popularity contest dude. One thing I disliked was that in all my experiences in Halo 1 multiplayer, whoever saw who first would win.

No, that's simply the mantra for unexperienced players who panic and fire wildly after being shot first instead of throwing a grenade or effectively mounting a advantageous weapon combination counterattack.

I can make an extensive list to you about the many times that the person who saw the other got killed.

It's just my opinion dude, I will not argue with you about it. Maybe I'm just aggravated at it cause I'm a beast in Halo 2, but suck in 1. Who can say?

It still annoys me when people say that some game 'sucks' because they suck at it. My friends do it all the time.
