NEWS
According to recent news, the third Mortal Kombat movie - officially named Devastation - will NOT follow the events of Annihilation, and instead ignore the movie altogether, most likely remaking the movie in a better quality. It will be considered the 'true' sequel to the first Mortal Kombat moviel, and it's sequel - as yet unnamed - will complete the official trilogy, rumored to follow the storyline of both Deadly Alliance and Deception video games.
Is that the official cast or your dream cast, HarmoNiC FLo? Because that looks too good to be true. The original Liu Kang, Rayden, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Scorpion. Reptile playing Sub Zero. The Annihilation Jax, Shinnok, and Mileena.
Also, Sonya Blade won't be in this one? I would settle for the Annihilation Sonya.
I loved the first film. I was 10 when I saw it in Samoa. The best fights were Scorpian vs. Johnny Cage and Reptile vs. Liu Kang [most aggressive]. I dunno if this counts but I love the part where Scorpian and Sub Zero attack the crew on the ship and Rayden f.cks them up - that was GREAT - favourite scene in the film.
The second film was soooooo bad. The best fight in that would have to be Sonya and Mileena's mud wrestle [the sad thing is i'm not joking]. I don't know how ppl could like the guy who played Jax! He was a bad actor and he was way off when he tried to sound ghetto - "yeah, now that's what I'm talkin' about", ugh.
Oh and this is the first time I've heard news of MK3 - it sounds promising. I really enjoyed the tv series, the choreography was entertaining and it somewhat followed the game well.
Oh, did anyone else feel that Mortal Kombat looks like it's taken a LOT from "Big Trouble Little China"? I dunno if this is something the creators acknowledge or what.
