(I know its not that much, but im tired tonight!!)
Harry waited and waited, soon he had sore legs and had to sit down. There were no chairs anywhere outside so he sat on the ground. Minute after minute passed by and he wondered if he would ever make it to the feast. Harry felt himself slowly close his eyes when he heard something down the hall. He reaced for his wand inside his gold/scarlet robes and flung open his eyes. They quickly adjusted to the light and he narrowed in down the dark patched hallway. He couldn't figure out who or what made the noice. He got to his feet, with an aching click from his knees and he stopped and waited. He didn't know what he was waiting for, anything; movement, sound, he wasn't sure!
Harry started walking down the hall with his wand out infront of him. There were portraits on either side of him which some how looked formiliar and caught his eye. He stopped in his tracks and looked at the woman infront of him. She was a quite small lady and was wearing a yellow top and pants. Under her picture, there was a sign which he read:
Helga Hufflepuff
One of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. One of the four house's named after her, for her Just and Loyalty towards every student at Howarts.
Harry then fully relised who it was and took a better look at her. In the end Helga walked out of her portrait and out of sight, and he figured that she must been shy or something; no relising that he had staired at her for 5 minutes saying nothing. He then noticed something that greatly interested him. Two pictures down, stood a portrait of a young man who wore the same scarlet/gold robes as Harry was.
Godric Gryffindor
One of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. One of the four house's named after him, for his Bravery and Curage towards anything that he was faced him.
He didn't look at all like Harry imagined. He had imagined him as a strong, cunning man. He had short hair and no glass's, he had muscels and he was proud to be one of the founders of Hogwarts. But yet this was competely opposite. He was quite a short man and a small build. He wore glass's on his round face and his hair was just below his ears and looked sruffy like Harry's. For some reason this reminded him of the prophecy, he hadn't yet told anyone about what Dumbledor told him that night, he hadn't even told his friends. He thought that when the time was right, he would share it with them; but in the mean time he was having trouble putting his head around it! Neither can live while the other survives...
Harry understood this perfectly, but he didn't know what was going to happen, he wanted to know what was going to happen.

Oh good, you used the prophecy to add element. I was wondering when you were going to do that.
I'm making Harry tell his closest friends about the prophecy when he's ready.
and click on the attachement that says 'i lay my love on you' right click and press save target as and it will down load it!! Thats for all the dan and emma fan's.
I haven't chucked his death out the window. There is going to be more of Sirius later on in the book, and I didn't want him to over-shadow other characters seen he's going to be a big part very soon. Harry's had all summer to grieve for his God Father, but JK in her books never makes Harry cry, only get angry. And in a way i didn't want to portray what she based the characters on....
( Here is a little bit more, sorry its taking so long )
The same paragraph went over and over in his head for the next 10 minutes. He was starring at the wall, but really he was starring at nothing. Harry wondered to himself, it could be Neville, I mean its me or him. Lord Voldermort only chose me to become his equal because he knew my parents were strong. I might not be anything. But then I nearly killed him and I was left with a scar. But then my mother was protecting me. This was all confusing, but the only thing Harry wanted answering at that moment was this phrase that was now haunting him: 'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies ... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not ... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies ...'
Harry had soon forgotten about what he had come down to the corridor for until Rowena Ravenclaw started talking to him, but took Harry several seconds to actually relise she was addressing him.
"Excuse me Mr, excuse me, Mr!!" She said, in a polite and allegiant voice. If Harry was to guess which house she was with just from her voice, he could of known, he thought. There was allegiance as well as brains in her voice, and she sounded like she shouldn't be in a dark hallway, but instead a flash lit room.
"Ohh im sorry, are you talking to me." Harry relised and spun around expecting people to be there whom she was addressing, but the hallway was deserted. Harry's mind was off the prophecy for a minute while talking,
"Yes indeed I was. I was just wondering young man, of which house you are in?" She asked, while straightening her blue and bronze robes.
"Ohh, of course. Im in Gryfindor, im in my second to last year here!" Harry answered, and then again like lightning he remembered that his last year was appreciating. Rowena looked alittle dis-heartened as she wouldn't of minded him in her house. When Harry answered none the less Godric stuck out his chest like he had just received an award.
"So...what is your name young sir?" Godric asked and before really thinking about it, he blurted out 'Harry Potter'. He didn't think that people who lived thousands of years ago and are famous for discovering Hogwarts would know who he was, but he was far from the truth.
"Harry Potter, the...Harry Potter?" Godric spluttered out.
"In my house, I surely thought that you would be in....." He stopped himself before saying anything but Harry had knew what he was going to say,
"That I should be in Slytherine?" He finished for him.
"Well yes, I did. Just because of "You Know Who" but are the rumours true about the sword?" He asked, now very interested but yet 5 minutes ago he looked like he was nearly asleep. "I would love to be able to hold my old sword again!"
"Yes, 4 years ago I was in the Chamber of Secrets." ." He said. " I pulled the sword out of the sorting hat and killed a basilisk which was going around Hogwarts trying to kill the non-pure bloods here." Harry said, wondering why famous people like these 4 were interested in him.
"Sorry to interrupt your speech," A portrait said, another 2 rows down. He wore green and black robes and Harry didn't need two guess's to know who it was. "But I thought you were looking for that man who knocked over my old friend Professor Higwireson down there? She was very angry" Harry stood there, there was a man down there? Why didn't I see him?
"Are you sure? What did he look like?" Harry demanded.
"Oh course im sure. I've been here for many many centuries. Im sure I know where portraits are and when people are coming." He said, in an annoying voice, which made Harry wants to tell him to hurry up and tell him who he looked like. "He looked scruffy. Brownish messy hair hasn’t shaved in awhile. And it didn't look like he had eaten for awhile, well you couldn't not if your..." To Harry this sounded like on person, as the person popped into his head he heard noise behind him. He spun around raising his wand again planning to defend himself.
Hermionie was standing infront of him, holding 3 extra large books. He lowered his wand quickly and stuffed it in his robes, half-embarrassed.
"What were you doing harry?" She asked, looking rather puzzled.
"I...well.... Just looking at these portraits. You gave me a fright!" He answered, which wasn't exactly wrong.
She still looked interested. "Ok, well shall we go, the feast will nearly be over!"

He's only been up to Dumbledor's office like twice, and he's never had time to go down the hallway!!! He's normally been in the office!! Not outside it!!
Gender: Female Location: running down the street naked! ;)
wow, i think it's really great to be able to read other peoples points of view of how the books should turn out. spidergle, your doing a great job, and your spellings not bad. I'm horrible at it if I'm not paying attention. can't wait to read more.
