for goodness sake! not all spidey fans agree with you on that! what's the big deal if he didn't get bitten by a 'radioactive' spider! yeah, he got bitten by a 'genetically altered' spider. so what? it was probably something contained in the spider's venom that gave him his superpowers. when superheroes gain superpowers, they don't always need to make sense. it just happens! and if you didn't notice, he got his powers while he was still in high school! he didn't know Doc Conners 'til he got to college! and do you seriously think a guy could get that kind of knowledge after getting bitten by a radioactive spider in real life!? the audience watching the movie wouldn't believe that! they'd find getting bitten by a genetically altered spider and getting organic webbing more understandable. some stuff that was good in the comicbooks would not work in a live action movie. how many times do i have to say that!
Wait a minute! Superman started off in a comicstrip for the newspaper! what are talking about "thats why unlike them,he has his own comicstrip in national newspapers." the spider-man movies got money because, unlike the Batman and Superman movies, it had a great storyline! The Batman movies were too dark, and the Superman movies were so slow and pointless. so don't tell me it was because he was popular!
uh the superman movies were HARDLY slow and pointless.you just made my point for me,superman doesnt have his own comicstrip in newspapers anymore because his popularity has dwindled over the years, spiderman still does because of his immense popularity.Again THATS what made it so much money at the box office because he is much more popular than them.okay Im done.
good idea. I think the Spidey movies made a lot of money not because of his popularity, but because of how strong it's storyline was. the reason the Superman films didn't make a lot of money was because it had a weak storyline. same with the Batman movies. Superman has a storyline that was a lot stronger than Batman's. that's my opinion.
Well that sounds good to me. I think the majpr problem with Supes in general is that he never has a good challenge. The guy is uber powerful and fights banks robbers and Lex Luther. Siderman ,at the very least, has a 50/50 chnace in his fights.
yeah. i think that's the one thing i don't like about superman. no tough challenges. I agree with doctorstrongbad. superman gets off too easy. where's the fun in that? as for batman, he's more of a masked crimefighter than a superhero, 'cause he doesn't have powers. now spider-man has superpowers, and has a real tough time fighting the bad guys, which i find cool.
I really like the marvel+dc comics and movies. I liked the 2 spider-man movies, they also made a lot of money. I do like like the Batman series. I would say the last two were good, but not as good as the first 2 Batmans. I also like the Superman collection. Like Batman, the first two were the best. The last two were okay. I would say all of them are good, but with different stories based on the comics.
The first one made so much money because the trailers were so appealing and made the movie look so fantastic, and it was fantastic.
The second one made even more money because the first one was so brilliant. The second was even better.
So what you're basically saying is people only went to see the sequel because they liked the characters but hated the movies, yeah right, I very much doubt that. Only an idiot would do that
Bakerboy, I didn't insult you. They're not fantasy movies, they're ACTION/ADVENTURE.
It is more believeable that a man gains spider-like abilities then creating his own web from crappy webshooters. As Norman once said 'we've barely even tapped the vasness of human potential.'
You don't know someone couldn't gain spider-like abilities.
Oh, so you're just going to post your opinion and leave?
You're not going to view ours?
How rude. We view your opinions so the decent thing to do would be to view ours. Just because you cannot handle our good debtional skills does not mean you can just leave.
you guys get me going about writing a book on comic fans who take it so strongly they start rival gangs who beat up on each other! Wouldn't that make a great story? I'm beating the crap out of you because you sided with superman rather than the hULK! Eat this fat boy! You must either agree with me that wolverine can beat spiderman or else I stick this needle up urs!
HA HA HA HA ................can you see where I'm getting to? Calm down guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!! Oh boy!
