I like the Dark Times series. Dark Times started where the Republic comics ended - with order 66. Of course the feeling is not the same as it was, when the first issues came out, but still sometimes one can catch the aura of post-RotS mood.
Interesting I'll probably look into this series as well somewhat soon as I was planning on reading some stuff between RotS and ANH. Quite a bit to catch up on though which is partly why Dawn of the Jedi and the Brian Wood series (seriously how annoying is it that they simply titled it "Star Wars") are more appealing right now as neither will take too long to catch up on, and they both begin at really good points to jump in on.

If you're also into a bit longer ago Star Wars stories, then I strongly suggest Knights Of The Old Republic series. One of the best in my opinion.
It tends to be also comical, but also less "mature" than Legacy (don't worry, it is mature enough), but nevertheless a true adventure.

I'd say, especially the first story arc, is probably the best SW comic out there (though after the first major arc it loses some direction and I like Legacy more than the other parts).

Yeah, some KOTOR story arcs were a bit off, but I liked the ones that had Mandalorians and Republic troops. I almost feel like rereading the whole thing again soon.

You mean, the War story? Yea, that one was pretty fun.

Mandalorians appeared quite early, and I enjoyed pretty much every story with them. There was also story arcs, where they attacked Taris, bombed a planet with nukes, tortured Jedi prisoners.
I believe you're talking about the KotOR-War miniseries, that appeared after the main series had ended. The only shortcoming was that it was too short. They should have made it into ongoing series.

This comic has been something of a mindscrew. Not quite sure there's a coherent narrative, but it's vaguely intriguing.

Which one? The Ninth Assassin? Haven't read it yet.

^ Wasn't impressed with the Ninth Assassin finale at all. The storyline was chaotic and disorganized, the titular assassin was completely underwhelming, and Vader was just... off...
Good to see the Emperor one step ahead, as per the norm.
Some stories transform the Dark Lord into a veritable punching bag and others, like this one, aggrandize him unnecessarily. Of the three Darth Vader and... stories, Ghost Prison remains the top dog by far.

I saw that and yeah, Vader was off. Vader shouldn't make Spiderman-esque quips. :I

Definitely. I could see TCW!Anakin or Obi-Wan, consummate smartasses, saying such things.
But Vader? Nah.
