Max Schmeling is dead, Heavyweight champ
the former Heavyweight Champ Max Schmeling has died at age 99. He was born in Germany in 1905.
He won the title in 1930 from a foul by Jack Sharkey, and lost it to Shakrey in a return in 1932. In 1936, He would ko a up and coming Joe Louis in 12 rounds, and in 1938, They will have a rematch when Louis was heavyweight champ.
It was the bout between good and evil, Hitler vs America. Schmling would be ko in one round by Louis.
But Max Schmeling was not a Naiz, He never did fire his Jewis Manger and also save Jews in World War 2 from going to the camps.
He would also have a great freindship with Joe Louis when the war ended,
