Interesting argumnet. But marvel was coming from behind and was traveling at a faster velocity, its not that supes couldnt catch him cause he could of im sure. Im prolly a bigger cap fan then anyone here, and its great to see alex ross giving cap some much needed and deserved attention here. Physically, duribility, supes was still on par if not stronger then cap, it didnt show in the issue casue he was trying to restrain captian marvel.

I used search could not find it so here it is.......

Battlefield is the entire earth....their is absolutely no one on earth except these two and neither hold back at all......the strongest Forms of both(although Captain Marvel is merely Captain Marvel not Shazam)

The fight takes place during the day and the sun stays up for the entire duration of the fight.

Supes versatility gives him an edge (ie. his sensory powers, heat vision, arctic breath, etc), but not enough to put him over Marvel. So long as Marvel doesn't try the Shazam trick too often, he should have a slight majority against Supes.
