Not always. His pure strength and endurance factor make him a match for Supes. Plus Marvel can use magically charged punches w/o even saying "Shazam!".

No, that's only when they go into a slugfest. That's when Shazam has the advantage in damage output, but Superman's durability, speed, and techniques have been shown to be better. Not to mention, Superman still posses a few different abilities like HV, AB, and a few minor ones

I don't think his breath or vision based powers will help him too much against Marvel. Superman is a helluva lot more versatile than CM for sure, but if Superman is going to win against CM, he pretty much has to resort to a slugfest, in which case Marvel will have an advantage on him.

Superman ADMITTED that cap has the advantage against him in h2h.

Superman also admitted when being possed by eclipso that cap can kill him in a single punch.

So long as Cap isn't splitting the Power of Shazam two or three ways (which I'm assuming because most threads have each character at full health/strength), he should be able to score at the very least, a slight majority.

HV has shown to hurt CM, and beings far stronger. Same goes with AB, but it was never used on CM that I know off

I don't doubt his HV would hurt CM, but I doubt that will be a game winner for him.

It has in almost all their encounters. To say that his HV wont hurt is very stupid. He has hurt beings who are stronger then Cm

I never said his heat vision wouldn't hurt him. I just doubt that his HV would be his one thing that consistantly saves him from CM, especially considering CM's ability to match his speed and take the fight directly to Supes.

The difference between the statements is that Superman admit the advantage cap has over him in almost every fight that they have.

DC has gone out of their way to show Supes and Marvel as peers. If we go by feats, Supes wins. If we go by h2h showings between the two, Marvel wins. I'm saying the match could go 6/10 to either one.

^ I agree. While I personally think Marvel should take this more often than Superman, if anyone wins, it should probably be by a 6/10 at the most.

no, he doesn't.

and HV has done far more than hurt CM. it would definitely work against Billy. Might not kill him, but it would do damage.

Funny, I recall you saying this last post
"I don't doubt his HV would hurt CM,"

It's pretty clear what you meant. As for it being deciding factor, it is, it can, it should be. Why? Superman has almost used it against CM, and it always effective. In KC(Alternative), Superman had CM one his knees. HV has been shown to hurt beings much stronger then CM so it would only be logically that it would hurt CM

STOP twisting what characters said. Superman admitted that CM has an advantage in a slug fest where they stand there and take hits from each other. THAT I DO NOT DENY! However, Superman has other powers that easily change a potential slug fest into a fight that ends up about how has more power

I agree that CM wins this fight if they stand toe-to-toe and take hits. But it isn't. It's about them fighting to their full potential.

Its pretty clear that it means he was accepting the HV would hurt Cap. What part of that don't you understand? He DOESN'T doubt that it would hurt him.
