but cyclops could level the WTC by himself. He took out a centinel when he took off his visor (even though it was a bit messed up to begin with). It only took one earthquake to send a tsunami that destroyed the coastal part of many countries...and as a result, created disease etc. I think that fact is that it's not juts their powers that would do the damage...it's the after effects of what they do that would really hurt society
yeeh i getz...sorry...thats what i meant....collapse...>__< ma bad...yeh...so i rekon its more of the after effects, such as you know...rebuilding cities and crap that would make them more feared
Yeah, but she would age rapidly. I don't think that she should eb a child through the whole movie. The realistic aspect of the secondary mutation brought on by Magnetos machine is that when the mutation occured, it effected he ability to die..and that when she was reborn, she would continue to return to the age and appearance she was at at the moment the mutation occured. I mean, we already have to deal with the Phoenix. It was set up in the last movie. If it were up to me, then we would never have introduced the Phoenix. I mean, for the realistic aspect of the movie X-World to continue is to approach it from a more believable point of view. I certainly don't want to take away from the movie world by introducing the M'Kraan crystal or the Shi'ar or aliens. If we were going to deal with thhose things, then Magneto should be a force of nature, hardly stoppable, just like in the comics. And my heart isn't set on my ideas, if there are better ones out there, I'd like to hear them. I just want this excellent franchise to continue to be excellent.

Well, I understand that you are a fan of Cyclops. I've never really focused too much energy on Cyclops, because he is a very stereotypical "leader" "good Guy" Boyscout" type of character. And I think he is exactly what he should be. But, James Marsden, while fun to look at, even behind the visor, did what was asked of him. So, I can understand any issues you have with Bryan Singer for scripting him the way he did.
I agree, Wolverine isn't the only X-Man. And I also agree that too much attention was paid to him. But, the quote below is right. He is the most well known X-Man. Wolverine will get more butts in the seats than Cyclops or Magneto
I assume you're also a Psylock fan. That's cool. And as for Colossus, you can't make too many characters a focal point in the movie, and we had both Iceman and Pyro to deal with in the second and a huge Rouge focus in the first one...along with the other characters that were in it. I assume that Colossus was introduced, much like Bobby in the first one, so that he could play a larger role in the next one. That way he can play a role and not have to be a new character, but rather a part of the established lore of the film. No extra time need be spent on him than has to be.
And yes, Halle Berry is a bad actress. But, again, Storm doesn't mean much to me. Her accent in the first one was so muttled that Singer directed her to 86 it completely in the second. Like he was saying; 'you can't, so don't even try."
And I personally wouldn't use the term "slick" to describe the production, as that implies some sort of dishonest effort. I think Bryan Singer did an excellent job of making this world plausible...relatable. And that is something that has to be considered when making a movie versus a cartoon movie...or publishing a comic book.
And I suppose that is my point in all of this. I wanted a franchise that was executed in a plausible and believable way so that I didn't walk out of the theater saying.." WOW!..this really should have been a cartoon movie..what a waste" I grew up reading the comic and watching the cartoons. But I wasn't interested in the same old thing. And I feel that Bryan Singer delivered what I was expecting. Like Cyclops said: "Would you prefer yellow spandex?" Well, no...I wouldn't. Who would believe such a thing? I couldn't swallow it, since it was supposed to be taking place in the real world.
BUT! All that being said, I respect your point of view. Cheers.
See above. You take the good with the bad...or the less desireable.

Colousses = big bucks to put on film. the movie is cool, but its just based on the comic its not 100% true to the book, and shouldnt be.
I could care less if storm was in any of the movies. She could be played as a back ground cameo or something. the opeaning scene in X2 with night crawler is one of the best things I have ever seen. Logan in the movie is nothing like the one in the comics, looks and personality. they are all watered down a lot. wolvie talks to much like the scene were he gets shot by the cop. that was lame. how did pyro recover so quick when rouge took his power? the movie is cool , but if you compair it to the comic you are setting your self up for a let down. spiderman movies blow xmen movies out of the water.
