Being that would be inpossible for gays to be in a church because according to the church they are living a very sinful life.And second to be a priest you have to avoid life's tempetions and marriage.

Also Jackie, since when did priests avoid temptation? They preach the bible out of one side of their mouth while performing oral sex with the other. I don't think most priests believe half the shit they say.
The cities Sodom and Gummorrah was destroyed by God because they were homosexual cities. Sodomy is a sin, pure and simple, and you can't be a representative of God and lead a life that totally contradicts his rules. You can not worship any God and make up your own rules. I know how it is with Catholic faith, the priest cant be married and cant have sex, but with anglican and protistant and orthadox priests are allowed to have a family, and in thhat instant being a priest of one of those faiths would be unaceptable.
Mayybe I missunderstand you, but that doesnt justify a priest being gay. And priests that are known and exposed to perform sinful acts like that are cast from the church.
Im not talking about the US and france though, I'm talking about Biblical cities, and saying that you cant be an advocate of a religion that prohibits your way of life.

Are you saying that since god isnt punishing the world because of its overabundance of gays, then he must not be real and if hes not real then its OK for gays to be priests? Youre straying off the argument, unless I'm missunderstanding you.
The bible says so many things, some of which make good sense (like thou shalt not kill) and other that aren't (like you will kill such and such an ethic group) mixed messages I think. But really, the overall message is supposdaly one of love, and such a descision has none of that really. I mean its like saying "sure, you love God above all and want to serve him, but, due to the fact you are gay, something you have no choice in or control over, you can just forget about serving him as a chosen servant"
