"Before I tell you anything, i would like you to know if you ever threaten me again, not only will you regret the day you spoke the words, but you will never speak again." Xornon glowered at the man before going on with his questioning.
"I don't mean to pull you from your bands mates, or anything else. I merely want to know where you came from. I myself, was a deserter." He turned to look at Yuri who still shuddered at the word. "Yuri here is spirit. You must be one of the two. We would like to know which. So, now its up to you on how fast we leave you alone."

Irate wasn’t even the word for Yuri at the moment. While his earlier threat had managed to irk her, she brushed that off, figuring she’d save a rebuttal for later, but now, after his blatant display of ignoring them then the grab at her wrist, she wasn’t sure if he’d even have a later.
Searching Simone’s mind for the proper words, her expression calmed somewhat, eyes sparkling. She pointed a finger in Orion’s direction as she stepped forward. “Xornon…there is no need for that. I know where I have seen him, I know where I just saw him,” She brought her hand down to her side, nails an inch longer. “I just saw him in a pool of blood…just who the hell do you think you are?!” Fangs bared in an angry grandeur, she lunged towards the bass player.
Xornon attempted to stop her, reaching out a hand for her wrist. She evaded his hold, left hand striking out to Orion’s chest. He swiftly stepped aside, Yuri swiping at air. Prepared for his dodge, she lashed out with her right hand, causing only three light scratches to his shirt, Xornon catching her free hand before she could cause any major damage which she had intended very much so on doing. Marking hadn’t been on her mind, her intent had been more along the lines of ripping out his innards and placing them on display.
Squirming her wrist in Xornon’s tight hold, Yuri hissed violently, tone vindictive, hazel eyes in a livid rage. “As long as I have this host I will do whatever I want to whoever I want wherever I wish and you, you insignificant cretin, you will not be the one to stop me!”
“Yuri-”
“No!” Yuri stopped Xornon before he could even start, pulling her wrist from his hold. Stepping up to the angered bass player, she grilled a finger into his chest. “Perhaps I was out of line and maybe I should not have choked you but let me tell you something. I do not demand the world bow down before me nor do I demand extreme power but what I do demand is some god damn respect!”
In a quick, invisible move, the hand that was once at his chest now inched up to her lips, a stolen cigarette in hand. She had smoked centuries past but it wasn’t too hard to remember. Lighting a match from the troublesome youth’s pocket, she continued after she lit the cig, small stick dangling from her lips.
“If you can not show me some sort of respect the only thing I can do is shove that far,” Taking a drag, she pointed to the bass guitar across his back. “Far up your ass and send you on a one way trip to hell. Judging by your lyrics, I am positive you would love it there…” A steady stream of smoke slipped from the side of her lips, Yuri making her way to the door.
Scowling in the entrance, she glanced back at the two vampires, taking her last drag. “If you will excuse me, I have a second Long Island Ice Tea to drink and a Screaming O,” She exhaled through her nose and mouth, rolling her tongue across a fang. “-to win,” Flicking the cigarette into the room, she sneered. “Enjoy the rest of your evening and Xornon, when you have finished your conversation with the dead man, please be so kind as to report back to me?”
Leaving it as a question to his loyalty, she slammed the door shut, starting her way through the seedy hall. She wasn’t even halfway through when from out a room emerged a tall figure, so tall Yuri found herself looking up to him. He asked, “What are you doing back here?”
Yuri squinted, remembering him from stage and knew he must’ve been one of the human’s she had been warned not to feed upon. Yuri couldn’t even imagine how she would effectively do so, what with the only way feeding on him possible being a sneak attack or him leaning down for a little bite. Pocketing her hands, an apparent scowl formed. “I merely had a word with Orion.”
“He knows better than to bring others back here…” He murmured with a dangerous expression. “Just a word…?”
“Is that not what I said?” she inquired viciously, body tensing up from her erratic temper. She couldn’t understand why but her manner was more violent than usual, apathy unable to surface. Biting her lip, she aggressively pushed the drummer from her way, busting out of the cramped hall and back out into the flashing lights of the club scene.
Finding a seat at the bar, she slapped her palm against the table. The bar tender noted her presence after a minute or so, dancing over with a smile. “In the mood for a second drink?”
“Why do you think I have returned?” Yuri had already begun to dig for the form of currency used in the new time and age.
“You could have a crush on me,” suggested the bar keep as he began to make her another drink. “Then again, getting drunk isn’t a way to go about impressing someone…” He slid to her the finished drink.
Yuri rolled her eyes, catching it before it fell to the edge. Paying him as she sipped, she said, “I told you, I do not get drunk,” Removing the straw from the tall glass, she threw back her head, allowing the contents of the drink to slide down her throat, a mixture of cold and alcohol soothing her rage. Slamming down the second finished tea, she arched a brow. “Time for my scream yet?”
“Nope,” he stared to the exit of the bar. “The bet was after you drank the two Long Island Alcohol Teas, as I call it, you would be able to walk from the bar and back without collapsing.”
“Start making my drink,” hopping from her seat, the alcohol not yet able to affect her walk or slur her speech, Yuri calmly strutted to the exit and back, on return, grinning broadly at her success. Prize in hand and back in her seat, Yuri sampled the liquid, enjoying the taste but a tad bit disappointed.
Leaning close, the bar tender drummed his fingers on the table. “Wasamatter, love? Didn’t make it properly?”
“It is not that, it has a lovely taste, but…” she stirred the liquid with a pout. “It neither screams nor does it give pleasure so I do not understand why it is named such a thing…”
The bartender laughed, shaking his head. “Oh wow, hun, you took that a little too seriously! It’s called ‘Screaming’ cause of the Vodka added into the mix. The O part is from the Bailey's, Kahlua, and Amaretto. Though if you’re looking for pleasure you could always go back to your friend or Orion…”
Enjoying the drink, Yuri paused mid taste. “For the first one, no, and as for the second one, never. He is far too…special for that,” It was rare that Yuri got along with people the first time she met them but even rarer that she could come up with fifty ways to kill them in under a minute of meeting them. Orion had fallen beneath the latter, Yuri vividly imagining the kill, savoring how his blood would feel slipping through her fingers. Unfortunately, Khimaria would not approve of the murder of another vampire.
Taking a miserably long sip, her eyes suddenly lit up mischievously. But Khimaria does not yet know of his existence… A fang revealing smile came. It would be simple enough to kill the bass player, accidentally on purpose of course. She laughed deliriously happy at the thought, wondering how to accomplish such a task.
Then again…
Then again, it would be highly amusing to see him turn on the humans who he had claimed off limits. Time consuming, sure, but seeing one suffer was one of Yuri’s favorite past times and that would be under priceless.
But…
For a drunken minute, she considered throwing out her first impressions, starting fresh at the finish of her drink. She could just leave her ideas in her head, let them be wishful flights of fancies and nothing more. She stared down into the drink with a smirk. “If I am not drunk, I must be getting dangerously close to it,” It was the only logical explanation she had for the shift to her mood.
The barkeep missed her comment, preparing another drink for a customer. He scrunched up his face. “Special eh? Take it from your response you’re not the best of friends with either of the guys but maybe someday in the future that’ll change?” Shrugging, he left with his smile, going off to serve a patron.
Finishing her drunk, Yuri stared to the remaining clubbers with an uninterested sigh, “Only time will tell…”

"Respect is not just given," Orion said to the closed door after...Yuri, the male named Xornon had called her, had left. "Respect is earned." He turned to Xornon, who was looking at him strangely, and smiled a little. "Bad habit, talking to myself."
Flopping down on the couch, he debated whether or not he should light another cigarette, eventually deciding against it. "I apologise," he rubbed the back of his neck. "I just get touchy when certain things happen around my band mates." Orion stretched out, resting his hands on the back of his head. "So, you want to know who and what I am, do you? Very well, I will do this, on the proviso that you give me as much in return. Do we have an accord?"
Xornon seemed to think on it, but his nod was firm.
"Very well then. My name is Orion Tyboltaliner Vagar, son of Tyboltaliner Mythalen Vagar and Massiah Yill Tarrah, brother of Zen Tyboltaliner Vagar, all died in the Great Battle centuries ago." Orion smiled. "But of course, you wouldn't remember much of that battle, now would you? Considering you ran from it like a coward."
Xornon's expression registered shock before the anger took over.
"Don't act so surprised," Orion said as he rose from the chair to confront him. "As soon as you introduced yourself as a deserter I knew who you were. Only two Vampires ran from that battle field. One because he was dying from a stake in his chest, the other because he was a yellow bellied, spineless coward. Given that I was the man with a stake lodged in his chest, that makes you," Orion poked his finger into Xornon's chest, "the yellow bellied, spineless coward. A man who issues hollow threats in the domain of another. A man who demands to know information he has not deserved. A man who has the gall to call himself a Vampire."
Orion brought his face close to Xornon's "When I sat down on the couch not more than a minute ago, I was prepared to be polite and answer your questions. But then a little voice in my head pointed out that it was my life being intruded upon, that it was me being treated with a complete lack of repect. Both of you, two perfect strangers, waltz into my domain, demand answers out of me...and then, to top it off, that b*tch has the gall to attack me and them demand that I repsect her!"
His hand snapped out, clenching tightly around Xornon's throat. "I should kill both of you for your insolence. In fact, I want you to give me one good reason why I shouldn't?"
"Because then you would have to explain to Vorgal why we have a dead man in our V.I.P room."
Both Orion's and Xornon's heads snapped around to see Dante towering in the doorway. The drummer looked from one man to the other, taking in the scene, taking in the canines that had extended at the front of Orion's mouth in his anger. "Just what the hell is going on here?"

Xornon quickly and stealthfully put the blade that was currently pressed lightly against Orion's nether regions into his coat sleeve. He would have made a smart remark about the move, but the towering human in the door changed his mind.
For half a second, Xornon thought about lunging at the man, sucking him dry, then killing Orion in a slow and painful way, probably by cutting his face off, then shoving it in his mouth, making him choke, but then logic kicked in. First, this was Orion's band mate, he would have to do the explaining, not Xornon. And second, Yuri would be pissed if Xornon killed the bastard without her.
"I'm not sure what that was just now," said Xornon, glacing at the very bewildered Orion. "But whatever it was, I'm sure its none of your buisness."
Orion may have thought him a coward now, but that would change in time. He would either see Xornon's change of attitude in battle, or beg for mercy from it as he died.

Orion's mouth snapped shut, hiding his teeth as he shoved Xornon away roughly, motioning frantically for Dante to get in the room and close the door. The drummer didn't hesitate, stepping in quickly and closing the door quietly, turning with a half grin on his face, waving his finger at Orion.
"I knew it. I f***ing knew there was something not quite right about you." He glanced at Xornon, his half smile slowly disappearing at the look on the mans face. Dante had seen a similar look before on Vorgal's face, a 'Should I or should I not kill you?' look. He swallowed hard.
"Sit down," Orion motioned towards the couch, rubbing his temples. "Why oh why did you have to walk in now, of all times, you big bastard?" Xornon had circled the room and now stood behind the couch, directly behind Dante, hands on the back of the hideous piece of furnature. Orion shot him a warning look.
"I ran into a woman out there, who said she 'had a word' with you. You know you aren't supposed to bring just anyone back here, so I came to have a go at you for it. And what do I find? You seemingly about to strangle a man to death and...well...I knew you were something more than human. Those fangs just proved my suspitions."
Orion rubbed at his face. "Well, you have put me in a hell of a position. I swore to myself I would not feed on you or Vorgal. Yet, right now, I find it hard not to break that vow."
"You must die," Xornon said as he lowered his head to Dante's ear. "For to let you live would jeopardise our existance once again. Such a thing has happened in the past. I will not let it happen again." He raised his head to pierce Orion's eyes with a deadly gaze. "He must die now."
Orion glanced from Xornon, to Dante and back again, before finally settling his gaze on the now very worried looking drummer. "Bro, I won't squeal, you know I wont. I don't exactly walk on the light side either you know?" His eyes begged Orion to listen. "F**k man, I walk by night and sleep by day, I worship the devil and dream of burning christians alive. Like you and Vorgal, I am one twisted mother f***er."
He could be of use to you alive. And I will not let you kill him.
I don't want to kill him either he informed the voice in his head. But I may not have a choice.
He will serve unquestioningly, you know this. He has always been closer to you than either of you will be to Vorgal. He thinks of you as the brother he never had. With his help, you could be the dictator of this band.
Explain yourself
Order him...order him to kill Vorgal to save his life. Should he succeed, spare him. You can then find a new singer and the juggernaut will belong to you. Should he fail, then, you kill him.
Orion reflected on the presence's words. Kill Vorgal? But he...
Is a bigger threat to our existance, should he discover the truth, than Dante will ever be. He doesn't love you like a brother as Dante does. The only reason Vorgal has kept you in the band is because of your ability to play the bass inhumanly. Before you took my body over, I heard whispers that he was intending to dump me from the band. Kill him, not Dante
Orion nodded, pushing the presence away and looking Dante dead in the eyes. "I will let you live...on the proviso that you kill Vorgal." Dante's eyes widened. "Killing him, Dante, is the only option left open to you now."
The big drummer swallowed hard. "K-kill Vorgal?...Why?"
"As proof to your alliegence to Orion...to us Vampires," Xornon's voice rumbled from behind him.
"Exactly," Orion nodded. "That, and the fact that something has convinced me I want control of the band...and it is the only way you shall keep your life. Should you refuse or fail, I will have to let Xornon or Yuri kill you. I cannot do it myself. I love you too much to break my vow not to kill you."
Xornon's hand clenched tightly on Dante's shoulder, he was unhappy with the turn of events, but could see that Orion wasn't going to let him kill Dante without a fight. "You have no time to think on your answer. Leave this room and come back with Vorgal's blood on your hands, or I shall take pleasure in sucking you dry."

“Just one more…?”
“No.”
“Do not make me kill you for a drink…”
The bartender laughed, running a tired hand over his ponytailed hair. Yuri merely smirked, drumming impatient nails onto the table. After he had served her her prize drink, she had insisted on whatever else he could come up with. But after a few more cocktails, and a small glass of red wine, he came to the conclusion that he’d land her in the hospital if he didn’t be careful.
Sipping up the last of a blue…martini was it called? After all that, feeling alert and sleepy both at the same time, she traced a finger along a black swirl in the shiny table. “Are you not supposed to serve your paying customers? With the exception of the first Scream, I managed to cover every other drink quite well,” She didn’t understand why but the youth carried around a bountiful of cash.
Sighing, he took up two empty Collins glasses, placing them away as he spoke. “That may be so but if I get you too drunk I’ll have to take you home considering you’re not on good terms with your other compadres. And considering you’d be drunk, try as I might,” He turned to face her, hand on his heart. “I would not be able to control myself…” He chuckled at her expression, picking up a hurricane glass and four other cups. “I’m joking, damn, looked as if you were about to slit my throat over the idea.”
In truth, that’s exactly what Yuri had intended to do over his comment, hand dangling restlessly by her boot. She was slowly losing all sense of herself without even noticing…then again, with the contents of her blood almost completely alcohol, it was surprising that she could even speak properly, let alone sit up. “If you refuse to serve a paying customer, what is the point of doing your job?”
Rolling his eyes at her attempt for a drink, he waved out his hands to the vast selection behind him. “My point is I can take someone all around the world, from New Orleans, Alaska, numerous locales, give countless pleasures, whether on a beach or in a raging hurricane…and oh so much more,” He leaned forward, playfully tapping her nose. “All from behind my bar counter.”
“If that is the case, give me my countless pleasure,” Yuri sat up, arching a brow. “I want another drink.”
Seeming to give in, he stretched his arms upwards. “How about this? You go to the restroom and wipe the drunk-”
“I am NOT drunk!” interjected Yuri hotly.
“-from your eyes and when you get back, I’ll have a special drink. Just for you,” finished the bartender, eyes falling to his watch. When she got back he would be gone, what with the changing of shifts but she didn’t know that. He felt a tad bit guilty, but shook it out off, cleaning the table as she left.
Yuri blinked under the dim lights in the restroom, her confident walk turning into a stumble as she fell into a stall. On her knees, she grew dizzy, holding onto the cold porcelain object for support. Leaning her head over its opening, she stared into the clear pool of water. “Not drunk, wasted maybe, but definitely not drunk.”
She had always had a strong constitution, so throwing up wasn’t an option. Though she couldn’t help but to feel she had missed a step and instead of a heavenly intoxication she had skipped straight to the after effects. Or in other words, the feeling of being equal to complete and total shit.
Gagging, Yuri lifted herself up, massaging her face as she exited the stall, groaning. “Never again...” Of course she didn’t mean that in reference to drinking, she was very keen on doing so once she got better. But she’d made a mental note to avoid drinking multiple concoctions all within the same hour.
Experimenting with the silver knobs by the mirror, she hid her amazement as she filled up the faucet with cool water. Closing her eyes, she ducked her face into the small pool, letting out the occasional bubble as her mind became filled with thoughts. There was something she was trying to remember, a pressing memory in the back of her mind, a void in her past.
Digging her nails into the marble counter, she bit her lip but came up with nothing. That is one lost battle, Grumbling her disappointment at the water being unable to restore a portion of her mind, she yanked her head from the liquid. Staring to her dazed reflection, she frowned at a man standing behind her. Her eyes narrowed. “Did you follow me into the restroom?”
“What do you think?” He asked snidely. The two stared, no other comment following after, Yuri very carefully standing as straight as her body could summon. Her fists clenched, his eyes narrowed. He reached out a hand to the back of her head, grabbing a handful of raven hair.
(To be continued shortly...)

Grabbing a bulky arm, she dug her nails into his flesh, swinging him from behind her into the wall of a stall. He growled, reaching out for her. Revealing a fang as she snarled, she caught his reaching hand, starting to rip the assaulting arm from his body, stopping at her wrist being slammed into the mirror. So stunned was she at the opening she had left, she didn’t have time to counter, her second wrist getting slammed next to the first.
Maneuvering both wrists into one thick hand, he attempted to grope her, Yuri kicking him hard into the chest before he could get a feel. He pulled her from the faucet, spinning her into a blow-dryer, coughing loudly as he tried to catch his breath. Sliding down the wall, Yuri licked away the blood from her busted bottom lip, preparing to spring up and kill the bulky recovering man towering over her.
Though, to the surprise of both fighters, the door swung open, the friendly bartender frowning at the current scene, black suitcase in hand. “That won’t do…” The man, angry at his arrival, aimed a heavy fist to the blonde pierced barkeep. He put the case in the way of his face at the last second, the stranger recoiling his hurt fist. Holding out the briefcase, the warmth in his eyes faded and effortlessly, he swung the suitcase to the side of the man’s head, he crashing unconscious into an adjacent blow-dryer.
Yuri was astonished at the scene, that soon changing to a mixture of anger and shame. Out of all the people to help her, it had been one who seemed to have no prior fighting experience, and a human no less. Right about now, the thought to fall on a stake was all too tempting. Gulping, she got up with the support of the wall, glaring to the bartender. “I did not require your help, I could have killed him on my own.”
“Spell ‘require’,” ordered the bartender quietly, kicking gently at the downed man. “Even so, despite you being all grown up, can’t risk you filing a lawsuit against a club that’s not even supposed to exist.”
Swallowing the blood from her lip, she teetered over to the faucet. “And here I thought you were being a gentleman…”
“That too,” The warmth in his eyes returned, he smiling jovially as Yuri propped herself up against the countertop. Walking over to her, he examined her face beneath the light. “Seems I’ve managed to get you completely shit-faced but other than a busted lip, guess you’re alright,” Digging into the pocket of a long leather coat, he took out a glass bottle, placing it to her lips. “Drink, it’ll help,”
Tasting the red liquid, she gagged, coughing at the repugnant flavor. “Is this some form of poison?”
“It’s tomato juice, V8,” he explained.
“It is putrid,” Yuri made a wry face, not wishing to partake in any more of the liquid. Then again, anything was better than feeling so horrible. Taking the bottle from his hand, she downed the juice in under a minute, an involuntary shudder leaving her as she finished. Exhaling, she buried her face in her hands, mumbling her thanks.
He placed a strand of damp grey behind her ear. “No problem, love,” Raising her chin, he raised his brow. “Now has Miss ‘I do not get drunk’ learned her lesson?” He chuckled at her expression, dabbing at her lip with a paper towel. “But really, you need a ride home? Promise I’ll keep my hands to yourself, I can even give you a security.”
Allowing the human to take care of her, mortified but not able to do anything, she spoke quietly. “Pass. I have to wait for my escort. I am sure he will be able to walk me back with no problems.”
“Walk? In this weather?! Huh, knew you were a little strange,” Tossing away the napkin, he adjusted her hair around her figure. He buried a hand into a pocket, pulling out a card. “Well, if you’re ever in the need of a ride or a good time, pause,” He said it as a way of saying he didn’t mean it in a sexual manner. “Look me up, Miss…?”
“Yuri,” murmured Yuri, looking at the card now in her hand. She frowned to the strange barkeep. “Why so nice to one you do not even know?”
He shrugged. “Don’t know,” He gave an innocent smile. “Its even stranger considering I don’t really get along with women much. You’re just interesting, different. Only thing I can come up with.”
“What is your title?” wondered Yuri, forcing back a small smile.
“Fraid I can’t say that,” smirked the barkeep. “See, my parents were and still are ebullient flower power hippies and they gave me a name that screwed me from Kindergarten to high school. Didn’t help my last name being Chaim, ah, that added onto the misery,” He sighed heavily. “Good times. Anyways, you can just call me L.”
“L, huh?” Yuri watched as he started to leave. “Goodbye, L.”
“Goodnight, Yuri,” Giving a small salute, he took his leave.
Now alone in the desolate bathroom, not counting the unconscious man before her, Yuri felt the calm that had invaded her being start to dissipate, her shame coming back tenfold. She had nearly gotten herself raped…and was saved by the perky human with a letter as a name.
Growling, she elbowed the mirror, the glass shattering behind her. Shaking in a rage, she jumped off the table, the man on the floor starting to come to. A phrase from inside the youth’s head came to mind, Yuri’s foot centered towards his chest. “There is a saying that fits this moment, stranger. Hell hath no greater fury than an angry woman and right now,” She pulled back her foot, eyes glaring bitterly. “I’m a b*tch.” Snarling, she kicked the man into the ribs, a sick crack heard as he went sprawling across the bathroom floor, landing himself in lucky number thirteen.
Not satisfied with such a minor punishment, Yuri put the man on her ‘to kill’ list, punching open the door of the restroom. Tying back up her raven mane, she stepped into the dingy hall of the V.I.P. area, tilting open the door to Orion’s room. Upon entering, she nibbled her bottom lip, observing Xornon in an odd mood, Orion making a face at her arrival.
Finishing up making the pony in her hair, she blew the strands of grey from her vision, crossing her arms aloof. “Please…” She drawled out the word in the bass player’s direction. “You act as if you can not purchase a new shirt. You should be content I did not kill you as you smoked.”
“I would honestly like to see you try…” said Orion threateningly.
“I do not have to try, it is my job,” Yuri smiled dangerously, her weakness from earlier leaving her being. “Believe me when I say I will kill you and enjoy every last minute. The feelings better than…no, it is not, but the rush is all the same.”
“Then go ahead,” dared Orion, pushing to see if she’d do so.
“With pleasure.” Never one to disappoint, she prepared to assault the blue eyed vampire, Xornon stepping in the way. She wondered whether to push him from her way but logic soon came back to her. Remember, you can always kill him later… She smiled at the thought, forcing back a cackle.
“I can see you two are on the road to becoming the best of friends…” muttered Xornon dryly, steeping out the way once sure she wouldn’t attack.
Smirking, still sucking on her bottom lip, Yuri arched a brow to Xornon. “Has anything happened during my absence?”
“As a matter of fact…” Xornon explained Dante’s entrance and the proposition given to him by Orion.
Yuri nibbled on her forefinger with her brows furrowed once the tale was finished. “Really…hmm,” She twisted the knob of the door. “If you will excuse me, gentlemen, I shall be by the bar.” She closed the door shut, strutting down the hall. She couldn’t stomach another drink, not just yet, but it’s not like it mattered. The bar wasn’t high on her list of objectives.
Sniffing around the area, Yuri started on her search for a certain drummer, an idea in mind…

Xornon sat oposite of Orion and smiled a toothy, crooked smile. "So, do you think the giant will do as you told him? He seems capable enough, he's just..." Xornon paused and stared at the ceiling to search for the right word. "Human," he finished with a smirk. "He may be one dark son of a b!tch, but he is human none the less. Emotions try to sneak up on the species without warning. Can he kill his band mate?" Xornon looked at Orion again with the same crooked smile as before. "Could you?" Orion's eyes narrowed as X spoke.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Oh, nothing," said Xornon innocently. "It's just, with all the hell you raised about me being a coward, I find it interesting that you are to much of a pansy to kill a single human."
The anger that Xoron saw burning in Orions eyes made him smile all the more bigger. It seemed to Xornon, that Orion was so use to being human, that his vampire qualities had all but laid dormant. His unnatural darkness was one quality that stood out, but even that was only an advanced trait that his whole group shared. No doubt the arrival of Yuri and Xornon had frustrated him. He now had a purpose again. His life was being flipped upside down.

Yuri prowled the drab hallway, keeping her head up as her nose searched the air for the proper scent. Judging by the description given by Xornon, she was left to believe he was the same overly large human she had shoved earlier in the corridor. And now they expect him to assassinate a comrade? Cruel…but I like it.
Sucking her teeth, outside of a baby blue VIP door, she begin to tilt open the door, but to her surprise, it swung open, Dante standing before her rather startled. “Hello…” Giving an ominous toothy smile, she gently pushed him back into the room, closing the door with the tip of her heel. “Remember me? The woman from the hall?”
He narrowed his eyes, soon showing recognition. “Yeah, wait. You must be that Yuri chick,” he paled slightly. “A vampire?”
“Ah, you know of my nature,” Yuri clapped condescendingly, creeping closer to the drummer. “You must also know the next step then…”
“Time out,” He said it as a nervous warning. “I was just thinking about how to kill Vorgal, I swear, I was about to do it right now-”
“No you were not,” stated Yuri matter-of-factly. She gave him a second push, this one sending him into the wall. Hazel eyes gaining a psychotic hue, she stared up to him, nail trailing down the length of his arm. Not batting a lash, piercing into the drummer’s darkened soul, she said. “You may think you could do such a thing, but you are flawed. You are, after all, still human. It would be your first kill and there is too large a gap for error, especially, when you take into consideration you have less than an hour to accomplish your feat. And if you backed out from the kill, Xornon and I would have a meal.”
“I don’t even get a f*cking chance?!” His eyes widened in disbelief then with a cold anger. “That’s it, you’re just gonna kill me?!”
Yuri tossed him aside into a maroon couch. She hissed. “I did not say I would do such a thing...Dante. Take care NOT to assume,” Walking up to the drummer, she crouched down by his figure. “While I am the more ruthless of the two, I tend to never play by the rules, whether it is by friend or foe. Their rule was you would have to kill to survive. But now I offer you a proposition. Do you wish to hear me out or will you die before even given a chance?”
He sat reflectively. Sitting up against the couch, he nodded. “Go on…”
A twisted smile formed, sharp glistening white seen from her mouth. “Lovely…you can think of me as the Devil’s advocate, I do so love to carry out evil deeds. My proposition is you allow me to kill this Vorgal instead of letting his blood sully your hands. Of course, I would not mark him and considering you are such a behemoth of a man, it would be no small task to make it seem as if you had assassinated him.”
“You think you could kill him?” Dante looked her up and down skeptically.
Her hand snapped around his jaw in a firm hold. She was tired of being underestimated. “Know. I know I could kill him; I have killed countless for centuries past! Just because you worship the Devil do not think there are none who could surpass his might,” She stood up, eyes holding the same scarily insane glint. “Remember, there is always me. I am not the embodiment of destruction but I am still death in its purest form. Will you allow me to take on your task?”
Getting back to his feet, he ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head. “Yeah, no, but they told me to do it, I’m supposed to kill him, if they find out-”
“If they find out…keyword being ‘if’. The others will not find out, I will not say a word. Now it all depends on you and whether or not you have the ability to stay quiet,” She adjusted his shirt, ruffling his hair about with a hand. “It will be our little secret, Dante and I ask for nothing in return…”
…yet.
“I-”
“Its either Vorgal dies by my hand or in the morning there will be the corpse of a large man in this very dressing room, the only signs of death being two gaping holes in his little bloody neck,” Yuri didn’t want her offer to be negotiated, it was either he agreed or he died.
Getting the picture all too clearly, he nodded, grumbling a yes. Yuri rested her knuckles into a cheek, tilting her head as she examined Dante. “Now that that has been settled, I will have to kill him with either a broken neck, strangulation, or a blunt object to the side of his head. Or do you have any ideas on how to kill your comrade?”
He cringed at the word, realizing he was plotting the death of one of his band mates. He bowed his head in thought. “You’re a female killer vampire. Try a seduction, then a blunt object?”
“Ooh,” her eyes brightened at the idea, fingers steepling up to the ceiling. “What a fairly lovely suggestion! Yes, I think I will execute that idea,” She stepped to the door, letting out her hair as she practiced a lusting expression. Glancing back to the forlorn drummer, she frowned. “Oh, do not feel bad. You are not killing him, I am. Think of it this way: People do not kill people; people given orders to kill people, kill people.” Winking in his direction, she left the room, scouring the area for the soon-to-be dead lead singer…
((OOC: Decomp, I’m sorta, no, I am uncomfortable w/ killing other peeps NPC’s so if Vorgal is off limits for Yuri –cause you may or may not have plans for him in the near future- let me know so I don’t make my char do what she does best….))

((lol...'twas me who came up with the idea in the first place, so feel free to kill him off Midnite...I have no plans for him.))
Pansy The word spiralled through his mind like a vortex, stirring up his anger and threatening to make him snap. "What the hell would you know?!" he snapped angrilly. "You have no idea what it is like to feel, to experience human emotions."
Xornon crossed his arms over his chest. "And I have no intention of doing so. To feel is to have weakness."
Orion ground his teeth together in frustration, flopping down onto the couch emotionally unsound and his head throbbing from the sudden onset of a headache. He placed a cigarette between his lips and lit it, taking a long, deep drag. "Just what is your business here? I mean, of all the places in this city, your business, whatever that may be, just happened to lead you here, of all places? A place that isn't even supposed to exist? Surely that can't have happened purely by chance?"
"I had finally found a life that suited me, somewhere that I could fit in. I had finally found I way to enjoy the rest of my life...and then you two waltz in here and shatter it in one single night." Orion stood and moved directly in front of Xornon, blowing a cloud of smoke directly into the Vampires face. "Mark my words, Xornon. Before my time is done on this earth, both you and Yuri will die painfully by my hands."

Xornon chuckled, and then, without warning, erupted into laugher. "You, a vampire in human skin, kill me, one of the best killers this world has ever seen, save Yuri and a few others?" Xornon stood, glareing at Orion, his orange eyes boring into the others. "As I told you before, I do not stand for threats. You will curb your tongue, or I will cut it out."
Xornon sat back down, ignoring the man that continued to tower over him. "As for your former statement of me being a coward, you are correct. In my young days, I was a gutless swine." Xornon glaced back up at Orion. "But don't you dare assume the trait has stayed with me. Don't think I haven't paid for my shame." Xornon pulled his shirt up, showing Orion the jagged scars he had just recently recieved from Yuri. "These are from Yuri, just a taste of what she really wanted to do. The only thing I haven't done to regain my honor is fight along side my brothers once again, and that is something I plan to do."
"As for why we are here. Yuri had some sort of personal vendetta to settle, and it turns out that her target is...or, was, a partier. We didn't mean to stumble onto your life. But seeing as I found it, I wanted to know why you were still around."

((lol...right, no problem X man))
"Curb my tongue!" Orion bellowed, kicking the small wooden table next to the couch clean across the room, where is shattered against the wall. He lashed out at Xornon, the Vampire taken off guard by his sudden out burst, but still managing to flip over the back of the couch before Orion's boot hit, colapsing the couch in half with the force of it.
"Vampire in human skin," Orion mimicked. "Seems I can handle myself pretty f***ing well in my human skin, thank you very much!" He spear tackled Xornon into the wall, their impact sending fragments of plaster and splinters of wood flying. "You pissy coward in your night walking body. Do you think I couldn't kill you? When the sun rises, I could fry your weak ass Vampire heart in a split second."
He slammed Xornon to the floor, pressing his forearm into the Vampire's throat, bringing his eyes within an inch of the others angry gaze. "You had no f***ing right to intrude upon that stage...into my life, just to satisfy your damn curiosity! I will send you to f***ing hell for it!"
Xornon's boot slammed into his groin, pushing upwards and sending him flipping over the Vampires head and into the wreckage of the couch. He scrambled free, remaining on all fours, fangs bared witha loud hiss escaping his throat. He launched himself at Xornon again, this time their impact sending them clean through the wall in a hail of plaster and splinters of wood. They tussled through the hall and tumbled out into the bar area, sending drunken clubbers scrambling out of their path.
With a massive heave, Xornon launched Orion across the room, over the bar, where he crashed into the mirrored wall with its glass shelves holding many glass bottles of alcoholic liquids. Orion lunged back over the bar, unfazed, to collide mid air with Xornon, who had the same idea. They crashed down onto the slate floor, cracking it, and rolled across it, each trying to land a decisive blow.
Orion elbowed him and the jaw, and attempted to bite Xornon's now exposed neck, but the Vampire landed a vicious blow to the side of Orion's head, and the bassist was forced to roll away. Orion rose to his feet, fangs bared fully in anger as Xornon rose several feet away.
Facing off, Orion cracked his neck, before coiling back on his legs like a cat and lunging again.

((OOC: Spring Break...lucky you...))
Landing herself outside a black door with golden letters sparkling VIP, also including the name of the band member -something all the other doors were exempt from- Yuri pushed the door in, finding Vorgal walking back and forth, speaking hurriedly into a small black object holding the words T-Mobile on its side.
Closing the door quietly, her presence would have been all but overlooked if not for the pale shadow cast by her wavering hair, the cigarette smoke casually leaving her lips. Lowering the phone from his ear, he formed a scowl, lip upturning in distaste. “How the hell did you get in?” Yuri had easily enough knocked out the two bouncers who had been guarding Vorgal’s portion of the hall, all that was required being a swift knock to the temple. Though she was sure they would wake in a few hours or so…maybe.
Licking her glossy lips, she purred, now inches away from the leader. “I have my ways…” She ran a hand past his cheek, sliding her fingers through his hair as she continued in the same scheming tone. “When I want something, nothing will stop me from having it,” Dropping the smoldering cigarette, she grinded it out with a heel as she wrapped a hand around his mid-section, keeping eye contact, hazel into a dilating green. “And right now, you are the only one running through my mind,” whispering, she tilted her head upwards. “Give us a kiss…”
The cell phone slipped effortlessly from his fingers as he allowed Yuri to cloud his thoughts, take over his mind, his brain no longer in order. Grabbing her face, he kissed her softly, having no control over his actions. He felt himself being pushed back, doing nothing to stop her as she knocked him down into a black leather sofa with leopard trimmings.
Adorning his face with a flurry of hollow kisses, Yuri tilted her head back, feigning ecstasy as he littered her throat with kisses. It was all meaningless, she felt nothing, no pleasure, no disgust, it was as if she were a shell. Closing her eyes pensively, she listened to each petty desire poured out from his soul, each want pouring out endlessly, he not able to stop himself, not even knowing why, how, what was going on.
At his last words, his last burning desire, Yuri slid her hands to his face, their lips an inch a part. One hand slowly started to sidle down her form, her voice coming out silkily. “Do you know what I want?” She bit her lip, holding back a smile as her lips brushed against his ear, a shiver leaving his form. “I want your head.”
Vorgal’s dreamy expression turned bemused, her words becoming all too clear as a knife glinted under the fluorescent lights of the room, the cold metal slamming into the couch a millimeter from his head. He pushed Yuri off quickly, she laughing as she hit the floor. Holding onto her stomach, she continued her malicious cackling. “The face you humans make once you hear that line! That is one of…the most priceless things in the world!” She laughed to the point of tears, rolling across the floor.
Easing himself far away from the laughing femme, he glared dangerously. “Who the f*ck are you?!”
Her laughter stopped immediately. She sprung up onto her feet, rolling her head around eerily. “Pleased you asked. I am Yuri, an assassin sent by your band mates to…” She leaned in on the man, psychotic delight visible in her eyes. “Well, the answer to that is obvious.”
Indeed, it was obvious. Knowing what she intended to do, his hand snapped out to the serrated dagger embedded in his sofa. Yuri snatched his wrist before it could finger the hilt, swinging him down to the floor, head colliding with the door.
Rebounding from the close by sofa, she pounced onto the lead singer, cooing softly. “Do not fight…do not even run. Your death has to be perfect, no flaws can be apparent. It will be such a magnificent death…” Both hands gripped his throat, now starting to squeeze. “You are guaranteed to lose your breath.” She smiled, increasing her vice grip as the singer turned from red to blue, purple, a variety of shades in under a minute. He clawed uselessly to Yuri’s arms, squirmed restlessly beneath her weight. It all died down minutes later, life fading from beautiful green eyes, darkness claiming the Black Metal singer.
Yuri ignored the minor scratches in her skin knowing they’d heal in a manner of minutes. Retrieving her dagger from the lush leather sofa, she crept back to the downed lead singer, trailing the cold blade beneath his throat. “Be still they beating heart!” Snarling, she pulled back her hand, impaling the man through the heart, a cough leaving him as his eyes opened one last time, chest arching into the air.
He fell back to the floor in a pool of blood, the dagger slipping from muscle and flesh, just when the door swung open. The drummer, Dante, gulped hard at the sight, ashen faced at the scene. Yuri stood up, yanking the giant of a man into the room.
Pinning him to the door which had to be a weird scene from a spectator’s point of view, she spoke malevolently. “Is this not what was asked of you?” She forced the dagger into his hand. “He was to die at your hands and even though your hands were not to be sullied, you must carry some scent of his blood or the others will suspect. Be creative.”
Leaving it at that, Yuri left the room, content with her kill. She was a little upset no one would knew it had been her but that was part of the deal. Burying her hands deeper into her denim pockets, she dragged her footsteps to the bar, knowing in order for Dante’s ‘assassination’ to go off without a hitch, she would have to be settled in at the bar.
Emerging from the shabby hall into the loud bar scene, ignorant of her surroundings, she frowned. But if I drink one more alcoholic beverage, I do not think even my strong constitution will hel- Her thought was cut short at noticing the crowd going crazy, the words fight overpowering the heavy metal music.
Curious at how humans fought in this new time and age, Yuri craned her neck to see the combatants, annoyed at spotting nothing. Wishing to know what was going on, she eavesdropped on a drunken spectators commentary. “…This shit is f*cking crazy! Never seen any one fight like that in my life. Like a cat with f*cking fangs….”

Yuri tuned out the rest of the conversation at hearing the last word. She groaned, rubbing a hand down her face as she closed her eyes. “They would not be so foolish as to fight in vampire form around the humans. Sure enough they have THAT much common sense. Please tell me they do…” Sadly, despite her hopes, it seemed her suspicions on who the fighters could be was dead on, Yuri watching as Xornon plowed through the nearby crowd, rebounding off the bar table before slamming into the wall.
Disregarding the tumultuous roaring of the crowd, Yuri pushed various clubbers from her path, swiftly making her way to the violently hissing Xornon. Stepping in front of him, she snatched his face. He didn’t appear to be harmed too bad and had held his own quite well.
She was at the same time impressed and disappointed and though normally, she never interfered in one’s battle, she had no choice under the circumstances. Under the watchful eyes of so many humans. She arched a brow, giving a strangely warm smile. “Xornon, stay, you have done your part well enough…I will play clean-up from here,”
Yuri whipped around, just in time to catch Orion charging in her direction. She caught his throat before he could lash out, pushing him back. Running, she pushed her forearm into his throat, rushing the blue eyed vampire into the wall. Replacing that for a vice grip to his throat, she hissed violently, being careful to conceal her fangs.
Orion sneered to in back of her, to Xornon. “You can not even fight your own battles? You have to have this crazy female intervene,” He scoffed, shaking his head to the angered Xornon. “Pathetic.”
Yuri’s head immediately snapped back to Xornon, eyes holding a manic rage. “I said, stay. He is no longer your prob-” She stopped, feeling her hand knocked aside from her prey’s throat. Eyes back to Orion, she prepared to render him unconscious, not willing to risk herself losing control but his next move caught her off-guard for the second time in one night.
Digging his nails into her shoulders, he pulled the assassin close, sinking his fangs into her neck. Hissing violently, her fangs came out responsively, backing up as he pushed her forward, a threat to her life with something as simple as a bite. Pushed hard into the wall, her hands reached out to break his neck. And as her hands grasped the raven haired bass player, for one moment, for one sick, sordid second, she found herself in a euphoric ecstasy, enjoying the stranger’s bite, eyes closed in an utter bliss. Just for a second.
Face heating up in a rage and mortification, her eyes snapped open, the youth inside her awakening with ease. Her voice came out a menacing growl. “Do you know…just who the hell you’re f*cking with?” Tilting her head at an angle, she dislodged his teeth from her neck, spinning him hard into Xornon. The two flew across the club scene, colliding into bottles of Smirnoff and Cognac.
Digging into her second boot, she retrieved a black hilt, flipping it open and allowing a seven inch blade to fall out. Knowing it would have to do, she marched towards the two vampires, the clubbers figuring it would be two against one. Not wanting to miss one of the greatest fights in the history of underground clubbing, they crowded the three combatants. Yuri turned her blade on the crowd. “Back the f*ck up or I swear I will make each and every one of you do so! As you were,”
The crowd made no response, surprised at this one woman’s mad gumption. But at seeing the look her eyes held, the demonic deranged glare, they froze in their spots. Yuri continued, shouting above the music. “NOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!” Every clubber, sober and drunken alike, scrambled back to either the bar or catching the beat of the next song blaring over the loudspeakers.
Glad attention had been diverted from them, she aimed her weapon to both vampires, a dark scowl across her face. “You foolish, foolish children,” Her knife glided in Orion’s direction. “You actually had the audacity to bite me, I should de-fang you as you sit and Xornon,” The weapon was now fixed on the orange eyed fighter. “You allowed yourself to be goaded by him, your rage to overwhelm you, you naughty immature children!!”
Yuri hissed. “We have not awakened to wage silly little fights or play silly little war games. You are not to do such travesties in public!!!” She threw the knife into the feet of the crowd, glowering to the two grown vampires. “If this is what OUR race has been reduced to, we are truly no better than the humans inhabiting this damned planet,” She grimaced disgusted at the thought. “Our perhaps it is just you two, perhaps it is just you two who are the stains to our society. If that is the case, I leave you boys with the option of killing each other or growing up. If you decide to perform the latter, seek me out. I only deal with men. Good eve.”
Turning on her heels, Yuri evaded the anxious eyes and movements of each headbanger, exiting the underground club and out into the crisp night air. Sighing, she ran her fingers through her hair, shoes lightly pressing the built up white snow. All in one night…have mercy. Massaging her loosely bleeding neck, she leaped up to the nearest building, watching the overcast sky show no hints of sunlight, no rays of warmth, no sign of hope…
((OOC: Er, couldn’t think of a good way to end this, ah wells Sorry for the interference in the battle but and I’m not gonna lie, I couldn’t help it. But on a bright side, ya both could continue just for the hell of it…))

Breathing heavily, Orion wiped Yuri's blood from his mouth, eyeing Xornon angrilly. "Will you run run from this fight too, coward?"
Xornon sneered. "Yuri..."
"To hell with Yuri!" Orion snapped. "Firstly, who the hell does she think she is to order me, and you, for that matter, about! I don't care who or what she was in the past, but in the presence, she means nothing to me. Secondly, I am no longer one of her bloody race, at least not completely. Whether you and her like it or not, I am, in part, human, and both of you are going to have to deal with it."
"And do you know why?" Orion asked. "I'll tell you. Because I have decided to stick with you guys. Becasue if I cannot kill you, what better revenge than to make both your lives a living hell." Orion stopped, tilting his head in thought as he noticed Dante lurking in the doorway to the hall. "Consider yourself lucky, coward of a Vampire who needs women to save him from death. For have no doubt you would have died this night if it wasn't for Yuri."
Orion motioned for Dante to follow, shooting one last angry glare at Xornon before going after Yuri. He would have words with her.

ooc: sorry for not posting in a while, i have some writers block, and this post is all i can come up with.
Khimaria had watched the scene unfold with interest, it was all shown to her in an old pearly white crystal ball, that had appeared as yuri and xornon had left, as was in the nature of her arcane items, they appeared as they wanted too. she didn't really like this Orion man, Yuri khimaria trusted well, and Orion who knew that yuri was one of the generals from the war long past treated her with the kind of utter disrespect as yuri had for humans, although it could be interesting to see if he could be of some use. She felt sorry for Dante to be thrown into this world, but little else could be done, and she was annoyed at xornon for being so easily provoked, she was considering weather it was such a good idea to let him live, but hey she thought, he was useful as he knew the modern world.
while the others had been away Khimaria had been busy preparing a summon to aid her during the day, a wolf with a pure white coat had its own corner of her mind, prepared to take form as she wished and let her see through its eyes the daylight world, but she had no need for it as she still hadn't completely corrupted Laura's body to its full power... but she was close to being able to do everything she used to be able to.

It took ever ounce of self control Xornon had to keep from throwing his throwing knife into the back of Orion's head. Xornon stormed out of the club and down an ally close by. He leaned against the wall and seethed silently. He spun and punched a clean hole in the brick.
Yuri had interfered with a fight that Xornon had wanted to happen since he had seen Orion. Did she really think he was allowing the other vampire to beat him that well?
Xornons jaw clenched as another fit of rage washed over him. He stormed farther into the ally, stopping only to flip dumpsters and kick smaller trash cans.
"That human-dependent son of a b!tch! Does he really think he's stronger then me?!" Xornon roared in anger, punching another hole in the brick. Suddenly, his anger switch to Yuri. "And she had the audacity to interfere with my fight!"
Xornon's rage burned with an intesity that he had never felt before. His orange eyes burned with internal fire that seemed to almost radiate from him.
The sound of voices brought him back from his realm of anger. A group of guys walked down the ally way, all very well biult, and very drunk.
The first to see Xornon instantly pulled a weapon out of his jacket. The gun shook in his hands. "Hand over all you's money," he said, slurring most of his speech.
Xornon smiled a toothly smile. "You chose the wrong person to f*** with tonight boys." Quicker then the others could see, Xornon pulled his sword from its hidden sheath, and decapitated the man with the gun. His friends all pulled out weapons as they saw their leaders head roll to the ground.
"What the f*** was that man?"
"Anger," answered Xornon with a smile. He lunged out and sabbed three of them quickly. The others scrambled out of the way quick enough to save their lives for the next 3 seconds. Xornon flipped into the air, landing onto one mans head, driving his sword into his head.
He quickly jumped in between the last two and stabbed one in the throat and grabbed the other just under the jaw. Before the last knew what happen, he was bitten, and getting the life sucked out of him. With the seven dead bodies surrounding him, Xornon's anger calmed, a little. He began walking back to the cave.
((sry, that was random, but X needs some way to release stress..... mwhahah))

This Day We Fight!

It wasn't hard to find Yuri, Orion sensed where she was as soon as he stepped out into the refreshing night air. He shivered, only now realising just how cold it had gotten of late as he headed towards the building.
He turned to Dante at the foot of the building and took hold of the drummers hands, bringing them up close for inspection under a lamp post. He didn't have to bother trying to sense or smell any traces of blood, for he could see it under the drummers finger nails, and his palms were slightly off colour too. But Orion tested it anyway, nodding at the result with a sigh.
He patted Dante's shoulder. "At lease you save yourself from them, my friend. Come, we'll go see Yuri." He grabbed Dante's collar. "Hold on." With an almighty heave, he tossed the behemoth up the building with all his strength, the drummer landing in a sprawl diresctly behind Yuri, who ignored him completely.
Orion landed cleanly on his feet, boots crunching on snow and ice. "You know," Orion began as he walked slowly towards her. "For all your disgust towards humans, for all your opinions about their weaknesses...you forget one very important thing."
He stood directly next to her. "Humans won that battle centuries past...not Vampire. So you can say whatever you like about them, but you just remember that. Humans have dominated this earth, not Vampires."
He physically turned her towards him, so he could look her dead in the eyes. "You come here demanding my respect? Well let me tell you something. I lost all my respect for the likes of you when you failed our people."
Orion could see the rage building within her. "No, not this time. You are going to hear me out before you strike out in any way. You were supposed to be one of our generals. The very same generals that fairly promised we could take down the humans and their weaknesses. But did that happen?"
Orion's fists clenched at his side. "No, we bloody well got our arses handed to us on a silver platter. That battle was a fools errand, and because of you and our other, so called, leaders, I had to watch my brother die before my very eyes, and took a steak in my own god damned chest."
Orion stabbed a fingerd roughly into her chest. "Respect is not given willy nilly, especially to someone who has proved she far from deserves it so far. If you can prove to me that you deserve my respect, if you can earn it, then I will readilly give it. But until then, you will never demand respect from me, and more importantly, you will never, and I mean never assume you have the right to give me orders. You may have been a general once, Yuri, but that was in the past. This is the present, and your are nothing now but a pawn in someones useless cause to bring our kind back to glory."
Orion raised a brow. "That is why Vampires are coming back, is it not. To exact revenge on the humans who kicked our arse and rule supreme over the earth once more, like the good old days." He chuckled. "Have you ever heard of the phrase 'Every dog has its day'? Well, we have had our day. No matter how hard you try, no matter the size of the ego your leader has, you will never restore Vampire glory. It is a fools errand. You are inviting the humans to destroy us once more."
He could sense Yuri coiling, as if she were about to strike, the anger in her eyes roiling like a storm tossed ocean. "Just stop and think for a moment and tell me this. If we could not defeat them with an army, how do you expect to defeat the humans now, with a mere handful? Even you have to stop and think of the reality of success, Yuri. I know you are no fool, so it beats me as to why you would even consider playing a part in this folly."
Having said his piece, Orion prepared himself for an attack, Dante backing up quickly in case all hell broke loose.

Burn…
Yuri felt a radiant rage fill her from his words, eyes shifting from a happy hazel to an ominous tiger yellow, fists shaking wildly from something other than cold. A low growl came from her throat, the pale morning casting a soft light around her form. Then, as quickly as the transformation had started, it dulled, no further changes willing to occur. A smile crossed her lips, followed by a loud chuckle, then a delirious cackle into the sky, head thrown back in her humor.
She felt the blue eyes trained on her go from on edge to confused, Dante choosing to back up to the rooftop entrance, not trusting Yuri’s jovial laugh. Calming herself, she took a heavy breath. Her eyes had yet to revert back to hazel but she cared less, strutting up to the bassist of the Heavy Metal band with no smile.
“Because I can,” His expression showed no change, Yuri elaborating. “You asked me why I would play part in this ‘folly’ as you put it so I have given my answer, I have the will to do so and I can,” She narrowed her eyes. “Why? Is it wrong for me to dream, to have aspirations for something more than this? I partake in this because I can and in hopes that the outcome will differ and if it is wrong for me to believe so,” Yuri shrugged. “Then I am wrong.”
Yuri drilled her finger into the bassist’s chest. “But here is a little clarification on your part. WE did not start this with the humans, back then, we had little intentions of world domination, no, THEY started it on our people as a sneak attack in the middle of the night. Most were out to feed by then, I was even about to go on a minor hunt until word reached us that we had less than an hour until open war would be upon us. You say we have a handful now? We had a handful then as well, all preparing for a war that had no logic behind it, no reasons, no cause! Now…”
She took a breath, her whole rant having come out with no pause. “I do not know what general told you we would win, but while I am proud, I would never be that arrogant. I keep my mouth shut and analyze situations before I make such mighty deductions, especially during a time of war. But here is where that word should not even be implied as that was no war,”
Teeth gritted at her next words, she snarled. “That…that was genocide against my people, because the humans did not understand us, because they feared us, they annihilated the closest ones they could get their grubby little hands on,” She waved out her hands to the buildings making up the background. “And even after they did so, they could not be content with that and turned on their own, I can even give an example, the holocaust, the slaughter in Rwanda, pick one!” Yuri wasn’t even sure of what she had been speaking of and had been going on Simone’s minor input.
Feeling a fresh surge of anger, she grabbed Orion’s torn shirt. “You act as if you are the only one who lost someone, as if no one else suffered their share! You lost a brother?! I lost a-” She hesitated. Not even Yuri was sure herself what she had lost. However, her emotions and heart had a feeling, both causing her to grow nauseated, a quaver starting to form, a fog clouding her normally perfect vision.
Orion stared down to her coldly from sparkling azure. “What have you lost, hmm?!”
“None of your god damned business!!” She snapped, pushing him away hastily. Feeling a headache start to develop, she massaged her temples, then gently pinching the bridge of her nose. She sighed heavily through closed eyes. “Orion, I did not come here specifically for your respect, merely to do my job as I have done so wonderfully this eve. You will not respect me or my race for that matter because we failed you? Here’s some news: we never proclaimed we were goddamn saviors, the beginning of a new world. You lost someone, live with it or feel free to jump from the nearest structure. Trust, I will not stop you. Or…”
Yuri walked back up to him, looking up into his face bitterly. “If it’ll make you feel so god damn better to place the blame on someone, to place anger onto someone else, strike me Orion!” She pushed the bassist roughly, teeth bared. “Strike me!”
Whether instinctively or intentionally, Yuri wasn’t sure, but Orion lashed out a hand, catching her hard in the jaw. She stumbled back a step, some rationality coming back to her head. She had meant to provoke him; her emotions had started to become unhinged so she needed some force to bring her back to reality. It was either that or a five minute killing spree…
Sucking in her cheeks, she spat out a glob of coppery crimson onto the rooftop. Gently massaging her jaw, she arched a brow. “You would take care to notice how I have not fought back. Three reasons and three reasons alone having held me back,” He didn’t seem to care, he shaking out his fist but Yuri continued nonetheless. “One, despite hearing your words it does not mean much…from you. Two, I tend to avoid fighting once completely infuriated as…odd things manage to happen in the heat of the moment. Finally…I only fight those who are worth my time, and sadly Orion, you are not.”
Turning her back to the vampire and his giant of a comrade, she edged her way to the rooftop, peering down to the ice covered sidewalk. “Please…enjoy the rest of your life under this fabrication you have made for yourself,” She half turned back to him with disgust in a mocking grin. “I know of only so few who can look themselves in the mirror daily and accept their living a lie.”
With those last words, Yuri leapt from the rooftop’s edge, spiraling down to the concrete below. She spun before impact, landing daintily on one knee. Recovering quickly, she got to her feet, pocketing her hands as she trudged back to the cave, as she walked, a voice in her head having a few words with her…
((OOC: Yeah, I had more for this but…it’s late. Tomorrow’s another day…))

Yuri walked aloof from the scene, frowning at a feeble voice echoing a single word in her head.
Stop
Frowning, she quickened, her pace, the voice repeating itself, this time with a please. After the fifth or fourth time hearing the request, she lost her apathy, scowling darkly. Surely you humans are not that weak. I have walked but a few miles now, please tell me you carry more strength than that-
That's not what I was referring to, In her head echoed the sound of a rasberry, Simone shortly continuing. I don't mind the walk, practice drills take more out of me than that, I'm taking about the emotions...its really freaking me the f*ck out, just stop, I don't even know what the hell it is-
Hatred... Yuri cut in, turning a narrow corner crossly. Anger, bitterness, rage, the urge, the will to want to kill someone effortlessly. You should be so lucky you get to experience the three former...I rarely get in such dark moods.
But why...with orange eyes, Xornon, you only wanted to kill him-
Because I LIKE to kill people. I might have held regrets after the fact but what would have been done, would have been done, She stepped over a bloody corpse, a ruby puddle staining the startling white of the snow.
Yeah...but against this new guy...It's a whole new ballgame, I mean, really. Why do you feel so aggressive? So...vindictive? So...viciously evil if I may?
"Why...?" Yuri backed up into a wall, closing her eyes as she slipped into a daze.
--mind trip--
Yuri shoved the ethereal figure of Simone roughly into the brick wall of a building created from memory. Teeth bared, she shouted. "Because...! I...can...NOT...stand him! I can not! I hate him, the fact that he knows just how to piss me off, just how to make me snap," She slammed the girl into the wall one last time, breaking away and groaning frustrated to the sky. "Just the thought of that...that smug ass walking the face of the earth is too much to even bare!"
Simone coughed slightly, brushing off the crumbling brick that had dusted her jacket. She crossed her arms, leaning back to the imprint of her shape in the wall. "You just don't like the fact that you two are almost alike. Most can't deal with their own personalities and he is almost...just like you."
It had to be one of the worse things that could have been said. Snatching the youth's throat, Yuri pummeled her into the wall, grip tightening around the shadowy figure...
((OOC: To be continued when I get home...))
