This Day We Fight!

Gender: Male
Location: Australia

Orion clenched and unclenched his fists at his sides, his spiked leather armbands creaking with the motion.

Dante came to stand next to him, running a hand through his hair. "Well...f**k me..."

"That's one way to put it," Orion replied absently as he stared over the edge of the building after the retreating form of Yuri. "Mirror...Perhaps, if you can put aside your anger for but a few seconds, and look into the mirror yourself, you will see just who really is living a lie."

"Um, brother..ah, she did have a couple of good points there..." Dante trailed off into silence as Orion's icy glare fixed on him, the nig drummer rubbing at his neck nervously.

"Good points? The hell with her! Whether she likes it or not, I am part human now. Is it so wrong for me to try and persue a normal life, rather than live some fantasy of Vampire dominance?"

"Well, being human, I should say that it isn't wrong. But, I find I can't."

Orion's brow shot up. "Excuse me?"

"You are still far more Vampire than human, my friend. Your manner, your willingness to kill, your willingness to have me kill Vor-"

"I was not willing in that!"

"Well, whatever, it doesn't matter. The fact is you are still more her kind than you are mine. Perhaps, for a minute, you should stop and consider her point of view. You might surprise yourself and find she is fighting for something that is worth fighting for."

Orion frowned, eyes drifting out over the streets as he sighed heavily. "Maybe you are right, Dante...maybe."

((lol...sorry X man...looks like I broke your trend of having the first post on each page.))

--mind trip pt2--

Her hold increased, pointed nails threatening to break the skin of the squirming youth. A loud bang was heard, Yuri pushing the youth to the wall, fangs bared in a cold fury. “Do not EVER compare me to him, he is a disgrace to his kind. He can not even accept who he is. It is sicken-”

“You’re tired…?” It was meant to sound more like a statement than a question but in Yuri’s tight hold, her voice came out weaker than she had anticipated. Catching her breath as Yuri, surprisingly enough, released her hold, she began to rub her heavily bruised neck. It may have been all in her mind but it hurt nonetheless. She continued oddly, hitting the floor as she watched Yuri do the same. “I-, you’re grip isn’t as strong as it was two days ago so…”

Running a hand through long silky grey, Yuri braced herself with her free left hand, closing her eyes tiredly. “It is not too surprising. Especially when you consider I have not slept in two days, the next morning beginning my third day without rest,” She sighed. “These human bodies were not made to withstand too much abuse as I am beginning to see.”

She looked Yuri up and down, finally rolling her eyes. “No f*cking shit…” She scoffed, laughing against the torn brick. “Okay, vamp body snatcher, let me try to understand something. You wanted to kill Xornon not only because he disbanded…some crap like that, but also because you like to make the kill. But this new fella pisses you off because he doesn’t want to accept his race and irks you in every way possible. Correct?”

Rolling her tongue over a fang, her eyes narrowed. Yuri scowled darkly once more. “You are missing one key part…” Simone made a face, causing Yuri to pull back her hair, revealing the two bloody holes implanted in her neck. “You know, the part where he bit me in the neck!!” she exclaimed, incredulous the youth had forgotten.

Simone fingered her mirror bruise, gaining a stunned expression. “Yeah…what the hell was that about? Talk about a mean hickey…he dead bit you in the neck, I mean, don’t vampires only do that to humans?” Letting go of her bleeding neck disturbed, she pulled her legs close. “Enlighten me.”

“Two reasons” Yuri held up two fingers, an eyebrow raised. “There are two reasons why vampires bite each other. One, in a battle, it is best to aim for ones neck so as to rip out any central nerves or veins, making an easier kill. Two, before or during the act of…sex, as a form of pleasure,” She crossed her legs, resting her elbows into her knees, amused at the youth’s face. “Though I highly doubt the latter was Orion’s intention…at least I would hope not.” She smirked.

“Seemed you enjoyed it either ways…” murmured Simone, gaze to the side. Catching sight of Yuri’s nails lengthening, she coughed heavily, pounding her chest. “Sorry, was thinking about something else!!” She coughed louder, a little faker, relaxing soon after a minute. “You shouldn’t have interfered though…”

“I had no choice,” spoke Yuri irritably, eyes yellow slits. “I could not risk Xornon killing Orion in public, Khimaria would have been a little less than pleased if I allowed him to do so. And in the off chance and a rare stroke of luck Orion was able to beat ‘orange eyes’ as so you love to call him, I would still receive some form of punishment. Those two were not going to get me in trouble, I’d kill them both first.”

“So congenial…” muttered Simone, jumping to her feet. Grabbing Yuri’s hands, she pulled her up with her, sighing to the vampire. “Listen, Yuri, as your host body, I can tell your angry, quick-tempered, never truly…happy. So my suggestion for something you need…as soon as you get my Brazilian done for me…” She threw that in the hopes Yuri would do something with her life as she lay dormant. She cradled the vampire’s face. “You need to get yourself a four letter word. You need…” Once the word after need had spoken, a succession of heavy blows followed, Simone clutching to her head teary eyes. She staggered away in obvious pain. “Truth hurts…and how!”

Groaning frustrated, Yuri shook out her fist. “I would swear you actually liked to be punished judging by the ridiculous drivel that manages to leave that mouth of yours. ‘I need-”

“Its not like you don’t have it around you in ample quantity,” She ignored Yuri’s heavy shaking, putting out a finger. “Xornon’s one guy, Orion’s another,” Not noticing the anger in Yuri’s eyes or no longer caring, Simone continued on hastily. “You can pick one, but either way, you need to get…”

--return--

“Screwed up child…” It was the first words that left her lips as she awakened, the burst into the cold making her erupt in a series of violent shivers. Letting a warm breath escape her lips, she jumped up and down, struggling to get some heat back into her joints.

After Simone’s last comment, she couldn’t help but to wonder if the child was a sucker for abuse, as she had cuffed her too hard to the back of her head. She shook her head, the scent of blood shrouding the area. Blinking at the corpses at her feet, she took a few guesses as to the source of the slaughter, a beheaded character clueing her in. Well, not unless nowadays the humans are trudging around with swords…

Laughing lightly into the wind, Yuri broke out into a jog, that soon turning into a sprint as the scenario changed from the city to the suburbs then to the woodland area. The wind bit at her cheeks and every portion of exposed skin, but she ignored the stinging, keeping her focus on finding the grotto.

It didn’t take too long before she landed herself outside the entrance. Rubbing together her numb hands, Yuri let herself into the warm area, quickly shutting the door after. She wandered down to the tombs, bowing her head slightly to Khimaria. “Morning, apologies for how long I have been away, my task took longer than I had originally thought it would.”

Hand hovering over a pale white globe, Khimaria smirked. “I bet. Do tell, made any new friends this evening…?”

“Ha ha ha,” retorted Yuri dryly, knowing she was referring to her conflict with the Heavy Metal vamp. Stripping herself from her jewelry, boots, top, and jeans, she walked barefoot across the cavern to the spring, Khimaria cradling the globe dearly as she followed after. “I would hardly call him an associate, let alone friend.” She tested the water, shivering at its warmth.

Khimaria seemed to chuckle. Observing Yuri, she grew serious, stare returning to her crystal ball. “I know that Xornon is already on his way back but do you think…do you believe the new vampire, Orion, was it? Do you think he followed?”

Yuri dived into the water, popping her head up extremely content. She pouted her lips, allowing the curative properties of the water to provide minor relief to the wounds adorning her body. She shrugged. “I could care less.” Cocking her brow, she left it that, diving back beneath the surface of the spring…

Xornon walked briskly towards the cave. As he neared, he saw foot prints in the snow. They were woman foot prints, small and not far apart, probably Yuri. Xornon shuddered in anger at the thought of seeing her and instead of going in, sat outside the cave, fiddling with his throwing knife. Khimaria would know he was out here, and if she needed him, would call.

((Yeah, really short, but its late and writers block is coming on. And darn you to hades Decom!! mad I had a perfect record!!! BAH!! lol))

The spark from the tampered amplifier cord ignited the spilt alcohol instantly, sending a raging ball of flame flying up the wall. Dante, the adrenaline rushing through his veins, dove from the stage, forwards rolling and sprinting towards the door, knocking aside startled headbangers that were slow to react to the fire. By the time they did manage to react, Dante was already sealing the main entrance from the outside with an emergency fire axe.

Those inside were soon to find out that Orion had already taken care of all other possible exits, and it wasn't long before their screams for help rose to a shrieking crescendo.

Once across the street, in the shadow of a dark alley, Dante turned to watch the inferno blaze. Despite the sick feeling in his stomach at knowing many would be dead at his hands, including Vorgal, the thrill of it all had overtaken him, and he realized just how much he could enjoy killing. His lips split in a feral grin, the orange glow from the fire flickering across his perfect white teeth.

Orion moved next to the massive drummer, boots crunching on the ice covered stone alley, his expression vacant. Only his eyes, flickering under the fiery glow, gave away any feelings. He had decided burning the club would be the best way to dispose of Vorgal's body and escape an avalanche of questions form the police. This way, it would simply be put down to an electrical fault, no more questions asked. As for the sacrifice of so many in order to accomplish the task, well, that was regrettable, but unavoidable.

Orion adjusted the bass guitar on his back until it felt comfortable, then hit Dante on the arm. "Come on, we should go before anyone arrives, and before I lose Xornon's scent. I want to know where those two are headed."

The two made quick progress on Dante's sleek black motor bike, the drab gray of the city quickly turning into snow covered fields, the two having to slow then for the roads were thick with ice. Tapping Dante on the shoulder after a time, they pulled off the road, Orion pointing into the woods.

"We go that way."

"By foot?" Dante groaned. "Bloody hell."

Orion pushed the bike through the snow, hiding it within the trees as they made sluggish progress towards where the two Vampires had gone, Orion becoming more and more frustrated at Dante's inability to slug through the snow at speed.

After what seemed an eternity, the scent trail ended. Orion held up a hand, pointing, glaring at the figure of Xornon sitting, with what looked to be a knife in his hand.

Orion's boot crunched on the snow as he took a step forwards and, just as he suspected, that knife came wizzing through the air towards him. The bassist's hand whipped up, catching the knife clean out of the air, grip tightening around the blade until an audible snap echoed through the woods. Orion dropped the knife, snapped off at the hilt, into the snow, blowing on his hands to remove the feeling of the freezing cold steel, the hint of a smile playing across his lips.

Xornon rose as they neared, quite obviously seething at the loss of his knife, and Orion prepared himself for the quick defense should the easily riled Vampire decide to attack.

(Wow I see I missed alot well I had an emergency but I'm back and I hope yall remembered where I left off anywho back to business)

Airy awoke to find a broken a pipe gripping water on her forehead. When she looked around she could tell she was in some sort of factory or warehouse. But where was the real question.Airy quickly found out her hands were chained together and tied around a metal pole."You're not too scared are you"The biker punk asked sarcastically."Scared? Why should I be afraid of you?"Airy asked slightly tilting her head in confusion unaware of the situation at hand."Is she getting smart with me?I am a member of the illustrious skullz gang and I wont be mocked by a snobby little rich girl like you!"The man said slapping Airy across the face."What have I done to deserve this"Airy asked curiously. She knew that she could have easily broken free and slaughtered the five of them but she was curious as to why they had chosen to kidnap her and what could they possibly want with her."Why have you captured me?What is your purpose for doing all of this?Airy asked looking into the man's eyes."Your father owns the second largest law firm in this city.He is full of money and the only way I could think to get a chunk of that money was to kidnap daddy's precious little girl."The man said standing up to walk away."Tell me what is your name."Airy asked as the man stopped and turned around slowly."The name is Charles"He said turning back around to walk away.Airy knew from that moment on his fate was sealed. As Airy sat there shhe began to fade into memories of the past but was soon interupted by a young man in her age group."You arent the first person that we've done this to Samantha"The guy said leaning against the wall."Samantha?"Airy questioned."That is your name isnt it?"The guy asked looking directly at Airy."I'm really thirsty and would like to have a glass of ice water if that's possible"Airy asked not knowing why she asked for water when she would much rather taste his blood on her lips. She started to rest her head against the pole but straightened up when the guy returned moments later with a glass of water in hand he then put the glass up to her face and began to give her long slow sips of the water."By the way the name's Daniel."He said smiling in Airy's face but the warm moment soon came to an end when an angered Charles appeared."What the hell did I tell you boy.Not to give them any food or water whatsoever"Charles said smacking the glass out of Daniel's hand. Then he punched him in the stomach and watched Daniel fall to his knees. Then he smirked and walked away."Answer this question for me.Why are you still so loyal to someone who treats you like this."Airy asked shifting her weight to the right side of her body."Charles is like the father I never had he provided for me when my parents abandoned me and left me in the streeets for dead. But Charles stepped in and helped me gave me a place to stay took me to school but awhile later he started to change you see he was in this gang called skullz and I was just one of his other recruits but I had grown close to him even formed a bond with him and besides I had nowhere else to go so I just accepted him and they became my family. We've been stealing and kidnapping people like you for about six months now."Daniel said standing up holding his stomach."So the only reason why you kidnapped me was because I was rich"Airy asked trying to understand. Before Daniel could answer Charles busted back in."Good news mate your father agreed to the ransom and will be meeting with one of my associates to pick up the two million dollars in the next 6-12 hours."Charles said patting Daniel on the shoulder Airy wanted to break free and slit thier slit throats but held back for she wanted to see how it played out.

(Animeboy where have you disappeared to?)

Xornon clenched his jaw and closed his eyes. The thought of killing Orion slowly left X's mind, and he sank back to his seat in the snow. Pulling a second knife from his other boot, Xornon began to spin it between his fingers.
"Your girlfriend's in the cave," Xornon said quietly, his anger now gone, and replaced with a calmness that made Orion both angry, because Xornon had not reacted like he wanted; and catious, because he had seen the angry in his face.
Xornon on the other hand, was quite pleased with the obvious curiosity he had struck in Orion and the anger he had caused with the girl friend comment.
Without another word, Xornon took his eyes from Orion and studied the knife in his hand.

Slowly lifting a tan lid, dazed hazel eyes scanned the area around her in wonder as to what had brought her to. Yawning heavily, Yuri removed her hands from behind her damp ebony hair, sitting up on the worn red velvet cushion within her somewhat modified dormitory.

In place of her old sleeping piece was a black mahogany frame, mattress covered in black and red silk. A rug lay at its base, a plush couch to the side, the same black bureau from centuries past still propped up against the wall, a minor crack in the corner of an almost flawless mirror. Rubbing a finger over the fracture in the glass, she frowned, nothing coming to. Another censored part of my memory…? This is starting to grow eerie…

The decorations hadn’t changed, blades of every shape and size made up the wall, along with a few poles of multifarious lengths and the occasional claw type offensive piece glittering beneath the wavering light of white and red wax candles. What could she say? Variety’s the spice of life and she had used and intended to continue killing victims in as colorful a way she could come up with, whether it be katana, claw…or an old fashioned strangling.

She smirked, her semi seduction of Vorgal coming to mind. On reflection, she figured she could’ve dragged out his death far more painfully, maybe even pull off a full blown seduction if she had put more effort into it. But now, it stood as nothing but a lost opportunity. Sighing, Yuri dragged her bare feet through the grotto. She had been napping but for some reason…something had awakened her. Must have caught whiff of a scent in the air…

Her robe dragged slightly in back of her, huge billowing sleeves hanging loosely about her form, the front managing to hide all that shouldn’t be seen. She couldn’t sleep in restricting clothing and while the heels were designed for style, they were anything but comfortable for sleep.

Reaching the entrance of the cavern, she smirked at the door, knowing what had stirred her from her rest. It was the scent of the two little troublesome vampires…Xornon, she could tell he had been their longer. Then, Orion’s scent had just started to drift around in the surrounding area. Wonder if they will start on Round Two? Should I interfere? Her smirk grew into a broad grin. I no longer have to. They are, after all, on Khimaria’s grounds, it is her choice whether they should foolishly go about killing each other. A small pout developed. Though I hate that I would be missing out on such a spectacle…

Throwing caution to the wind, she leaned her ear against the door, desperately trying to hear the sounds of weapons clashing or blows being landed. Instead, she heard a comment that held no meaning for her. What in high heavens is a girlfriend? Yuri knew the comment had something to do with her but for some reason being referred to as such, pissed her off to no end.

Starting to go out to confront Xornon, Yuri paused at seeing her attire. Rolling her eyes, she decided to forget it, words after all, were just words. Quietly strolling through the dwelling, she frowned at where she had placed her bag, a small vibration visible from an outside pocket…

((OOC: Would’ve been longer but I’m exhausted, ah wells…))

(I really didnt have any ideas so dont be mad cause this is all I could come up with.)

Xzaar stood at the exit waiting for about thirty minutes finally sensing something was wrong he started to follow her fading scent and it lead him to an abandoned alley."He stopped infront of a puddle of black liquid."What is this"Xzaar asked touching the substance.
This oil looks to be from a small vehicle most likely a motorcycle." Ken said still examing the oil. "But Airy doesnt know how to use a motorcycle and I doubt she would just leave with someone without even telling me anything." Xzaar said wondering as to what really happened. "Looks as if there was some sort of struggle." Ken said. "What do you mean and how would you know this." Xzaar said lookingsome sort of evidence of what Ken said. "Look over there." Ken said guiding Xzaar's head to his left. "Airy's glasses are over there and they are smashed." Xzaar said picking them up. "What do you think happened I seriously doubt Airy would have been taken involuntarily." Xzaar said. "Well from what your memory has told me Airy is a very inquisitive and curious person. So it would have been possible for Airy ro have allowed herself to be taken. But for what purpose I dont know." Ken said thinking real hard. "Well I guess thats what we're going to find out." Xzaar said beginning to follow the faint scent of Airy down the alleyway.

Orion pushed his anger away with ease, placing positive human emotions in its place, a smile twisting one side of his mouth as he passed Xornon and into the caves. Yuri as his girlfriend? Now that would be...his smile broadened....very interesting indeed.

With a shake of his head, he continued deeper into the cavern. So, this is where your kind hid themselves after the war? asked the presence in Orion's mind.

I guess so, though I can't tell you for sure. I was dying at the time, and far, far from here.

I see. I hope you have considered Yuri's words from earlier, because if you are going to confront her again, you will need more ammunition.

Such as?

Such as the fact that you realise her dream of your kind liberating themselves from the chains that humans have bound you with is realistic. Such as the fact that she gave you a clue as to make it more so, that being that humans are combustable and will fight each other over the smallest things. This you can use to your advantage. And such as the fact that you must convince her not to hate every one and every thing so blindly.

Orion let out a long snort. Oh yeah, that's going to be a real walk in the park. She'll tear my f*cking head off!

Why so worried about your ability to prevent that all of a sudden? Are you not the one of a kind entity that no one can touch? Can you not kill her easier than she can you?

They aren't theories I care to test any time soon. Orion pushed the presence away, not willing to put up with it any longer. Taking a deep breath, he steeled himself.

"Yuri! I know you're in here! I'd like a word, if you can find it within yourself not to go me without thought."

Airy just laid back and let her mind slip into deep thought. She sat there wondering what had made her curious to know what they wanted in the first place. She knew it was in her nature to be curious but the answer should have been quite obvious. She opened her eyes and looked around she knew she had been down there for hours but how many was the question. She began to wonder about Xzaar certainly he would have been there to rescue her by now.Maybe he went to tell the others of her disappearance.Or of course he knows that Airy is a big girl and is quite capable of taking care of herself.Whatever the case was she knew she wouldnt be rescued anytime soon so if she was going to escape she was going to have to do it on her own.Just as Airy was getting ready to break the chains and go free Daniel came from around the corner. She quickly stopped and looked up at him."I'm sorry we had to do this to you but this is how we make money for the gang."Daniel said truly apologizing to Airy."It's alright I understand this is just another adventure for me."Airy said shrugging her shoulders and dcracking a smile."I cant do this I just cant. He's going to kill you and I just cant let him do it.I wont let the blood of another innocent rest on my shoulders"Daniel said bending down unlocking the metal chain that held her."What are you doing"Airy asked asking the obvious."I'm setting you free I'm not going to let him hurt you I promise."Daniel said kissing her on the forehead.Airy knew that he was indeed putting his life in serious danger and that if Charles found out he would probably kill Daniel unless Airy can find a way to kill him first."Where are we going to go."Airy asked standing up and straightening out her clothes."I dont know but it's going to be far from here so lets get moving."Daniel said grabbing Airy's and as they ran through the maze like factory they had almost made it out but Airy heard a loud and unusual bang sound. When she looked down she saw Daniel rolling in pain holding his stomach as it bled. She looked up to see Charles holding a pistol in his hand."You think you buggers was gonna get away from me that easily."Charles asked now pointing the gun at Airy's head."You had no intention of letting me go alive now did you?"Airy asked almost yelling."TO be honest no not really I was going to get the money. Then I was planing on raping and torturing you and giving you the most slow and painful death I could possibly think of."Charles said bursting into laughter.By now his three henchmen had formed a semicircle around Airy blocking all of her possible exits. That only mad Charles laugh even harder cause he just knew that she wasnt going to have any chance in escaping."And to think I was gonna spare your lives.I was just going to play along with your stupid ransom plan but you took it too far you just dont get it.All this time I could have easily killed you and your boys but I showed mercy and compassion but guess what Charles I'm out of that."And with that said a sick, twisted and deranged smile crept across her face as she extended her nails quickly turned around and slashed the guys face behind her then she grabbed him used him as a shield for the oncoming bullets that Charles was firing like crazy.Once he ran out Airy threw Charles dead comrade ontop of him and turned to the next guy and slit his throat he fell to the ground holding his throat tightly trying to decrease the blood loss. The third guy went for a punch but Airy grabbed his arm pinned it behind his back and sunk her fangs into his neck drinking enough to get her fill then she snapped his neck.Airy just stood there for a second surveying the damage she had just caused in less than a minute. She then walked over to Charles who just finished pulling the guy off of him."I guess I got a little carried away huh.I just lost it and had one of those Yuri moments where I just kill everything in sight."Airy said shrugging the incident off.Her expression quickly changed when she saw the scared and pleading look in his eyes."I'm going to do something I know I'll regret later but I'm really tired of killing so Im going to do something you're not familiar with I'm going to show you some mercy. But I wont allow you to follow us."Airy said stomping on both of his legs cracking them out of place.Airy then remembering Daniel ran over to him.Luckily he wasnt dead yet.She then placed her hands over his stomach and proceeded to heal him.Daniel just looked at the bloody faced Airy in shock."It's a gift."Airy said shrugging it off."Wow where did you learn those kind of moves"Daniel asked as Airy single handedly pulled him up."If I told you most likely you wouldnt live to see the next two hours."Airy said starting to walk away. But she soon stopped when she realized that Daneil was still following her."Daniel why are you still following me."Airy asked turning around."I have no where else to go."He said looking down sadly.Airy knew she had to do somthing with him for he couldnt come with her. After walking for awhile Airy sensed something that told her she was close to other vampires she knew two of them very well but there was others there too but how?Without warning Airy took off running towards the scent forgetting all about Daniel.

(FInally I get to meet the other vampires!)

Yuri tiptoed over to her vibrating bag, narrowing her eyes as the intensity of the trembling increased. She wasn’t sure if some form of livestock had managed to sneak into her bag as her back had been turned or some weird new invention was causing the movement. Her hand now hovered over the black zipper. One way to find out…

Unzipping a pocket, she hurriedly dug her hand in, pulling out a small platinum and black device. It shook in her hand, a blue light flashing from an LCD screen on its outside. Yuri held it up into the air, twirling it in wonder. “What do we have here…?” She pulled up a thin portion to the upper right, flipping open the device childlike, watching a name flash urgently across the screen. Deep…shit? What kind of name is that…?

Thinking it odd, she pressed in a button labeled talk cautiously, a man’s voice booming from the small device i.e. Simone’s cell phone. “Simone, where the f*ck are you!? It’s been two days and the last time you came home was to bring some man into MY home?!”

Blinking startled, she placed the phone peculiarly to her ear. “Hello?”

“Your mother told me all about your little screw around session with some weirdo you found prowling the streets-”

“Actually, I found him in an alleyway…and I did not ‘screw’ Xornon…honestly,” clarified Yuri, desperately wishing to meet the man behind the voice coming from the strange device. She wouldn’t mind a little target practice. Flexing out her fingers, she frowned. “I am sorry, but I did not catch your name.”

“Don’t be a smartass, Simone! Back in my day, children respected their father and YOU WILL respect me! Get your ass back home this instant before I send the cops out after you! And don’t you even make me dare do that, its bad enough you’re slipping to a salutatorian status, but to have a police record on your file?!? I wouldn’t even be able to call you my daughter!” Fumed the man angrily.

“Oh really? Well, hearing all this, I do not think I would want you as a father…” murmured Yuri, sensitive ears hurting from the verbal abuse. At hearing her comment, he started on a new rant, intensity of his yell increasing with each passing second.

Removing the phone from her ear, a light bulb went on above her head. If turning on the device required nothing but a button tap and flipping it open, perhaps turning it off required the reverse? Pressing the button adjacent talk, end, she calmly closed the phone, gently placing it down for another time. She could do without the stress.

Relaxing her hands behind her head, Yuri strolled through the cave with a smile. She was in an uncannily good mood, most of it having to do with her new target. She wasn’t worried about time, she had a little more than a month to exterminate him. But what made it even better…what made killing this male, David Casting, as he was so nicely named…what made it wonderful was he wasn’t your average human. And I know his type will put up a decent fight…

She almost jumped from excitement, pausing in her confident strut at hearing a voice call out to her. It was Orion, indefinitely. And she didn’t just deduce this from her common sense…it helped that he was standing but a few feet away, back turned to her and peering into one of the darker catacombs.

How easy it would be to end his life now, She made a face. But Khimaria already knows of his existence…killing him would be foolishness on my part. Knowing this, a smile appeared, Yuri creeping silently behind the heavy metal vamp as she made a small barter with herself. If he escapes before I bite, he lives for the day…if he does not turn in time, I have myself a meal…and a lot of explaining to do in the morrow.

Her hands brushed smoothly through his hair, pulling him close as her fingers gripped his neck. She hissed into his ear. “Give us a taste…” Fangs close enough to drag across his neck, she expressed surprise at a taut hold around her wrist, she being whipped around and spun several feet in front of Orion.

Recovering quickly, Yuri rotated a wrist. “I will admit,” Wrapping the robe closer about her figure, she crossed her arms across her chest. “You must be either very brave or very stupid to come in search of me after assaulting me and…well, generally existing,” Arching a brow, she leaned her shoulder into the wall. “I trust, besides that first move, you will not attack me…not like this. For if you did, and, God forbid, this robe slipped from my form, trust and believe, I would be the last thing you saw. But at least you would die with a smile.”

Orion scoffed, face to the side. “I highly doubt that…”

“The smile or the dying part?”

“Both.”

Smiling eerily at his response, Yuri casually said, “Now you see, under normal circumstances, you would have died as soon as I caught wind of you within a mile of me. But taking into account that I have rested and cleansed myself, I am in a rare, emphasis on ‘rare’ good mood. Plus, Xornon would be infuriated if I intervened between your battle just to kill you myself. So tell me,” She held out a hand, examining her nails indifferently beneath the light. “Or rather, give me, give me a reason why I should not kill you where you stand?” Her smile warmed up. “Be glad, only so few victims ever get a chance to explain themselves…”

(I think I'm catching the writers block bug as well)

As Xzaar was walking he started to feel a sudden dizziness and tiredness. He quickly grabbed a nearby wall as his vision began to blur. Not really knowing exactly what to do Xzaar just stood there hoping the feeling would pass. When Xzaar finally opened his eyes and regained his composure he could tell that indeed some hours had passed. He quickly picked back up his paceas he continued to follow Airy's faint scent. "Are you ok Xzaar" Ken asked concerned. "I'm fine just needed a little rest thats all." Xzaar said continuing to make haste. Finally Xzaar arrived at the abandoned building where he quickly entered. Once inside he saw three bloodied dead bodies and one man squirming for life. "Where is Airy" Xzaar asked somewhat demanding. "You think I'm going to tell you where that bi*ch is at." Charles asked bitterly. "I see she had a little fun. You must have made her mad." Xzaar said laughing alittle. "It isnt funny you what no one fu*ks with the skullz gang and gets away with itand you and your friend are no different." Charles said pulling out a small compact device . Charles then aimed it with his eye pressed a button and released a flash. "Now I'll never forget your face. You are a wanted man now." Charles said laughing manacially. Xzaar was going to say something but he located Airy's scent and on top of that he found her scent to be with that of a human. He quickly rushed out of the building. If Khimaria found out Airy lead a human back to the cave there would definately be hell to pay.

Well, don't just stand there. Talk to her, you retard.

Orion frowned at the voice inside his head, momentarily confused by the term 'retard'. A quick scan of his shared memory gave him an answer he didn't much like.

Orion gazed into Yuri's eyes hard. "I've been thinking, perhaps your desire to have out kind as the dominant species on this planet isn't so ridiculous as it first sounded. Yet, I have to say, it is still near impossible."

He stepped closer to her. "You are going to make the same unintelligent mistakes you made all those years ago. You never learn, do you?" Orion barely had time to react before Yuri's nails were digging into his throat, a dangerous smile upon her lips. Yet, the heavy metal Vampire did not try to free himself. "I am not saying you are unintelligent, Yuri, any fool can see that there is a cunning brain behind those dangerous eyes of yours. You most definately have an intelligent mind in here," he tapped her temple lightly, she releasing her hold on his throat cautiously.

"Yet all that intelligence is clouded by your blind hatred and seriously negative emotions. I am not just talking about your hatred towards humans, though that plays a major role, but also for your hatred of your own kind, me being a prime example. All those years aog, you let your hatred for the humans cloud your judgement, we all did, and now, in this new day and age, you are going to do the exact same thing. And you are going to condem our kind."

He reached out slowly, running his hand along her neck to the spot he had bitten her in the club. "You liked it, didn't you? After you overcame the initial reaction of, 'Oh my god, is this mother f*cker really biting me?', you realised just how good it felt."

He could see her anger rise, she opening her mouth to object, but he forstalled her. "Don't deny it, you felt emotions." Orion placed a hand over his mouth with a mock gasp. "Oh, oh no, did I just say that. Emotion's, Yuri experienced positive emotions just like a human would. Oh the crime and injustice of it all." Orion caught Yuri's arm as she lashed out at him and yanked her close, locking his arms around her waist with her arms pinned between them, her face easily within kissing distance.

"As long as you let these negative emotions rule you, Yuri, you will never recognise your full intellectual potential. You will continue to make the same mistakes that have been made in the past. You must, and I emphasize that word, must, recognise the positive emotions within you, you must put your blind hatred for humans aside and learn to think like them, you must do these things to have any chance of winning this battle. I'd like to believe you can do these things, Yuri, because I truly believe you are one of our kinds last hopes, one of the very few who can liberate our kind from the bonds placed on us by humans."

He leaned in and sunk his teeth into her neck, not as an attack, but for the purpose of bringing her pleasure. Pulling back, he let the blood drip from his chin onto her lips. "Feel the ecstasy, Yuri. Let it coarse through your very being and feel the positivity. Relish it, and know that this could be available to you whever you desire it. Let it wash away the dark emotions that cloud your mind."

Unlocking his arms, he backed away from her slowly, eyes locked onto her always. "Think on my words, Yuri, and keep in mind one thing; despite our differences, despite the turbulance between us, I believe in you, and I am willing to believe in your cause. Prove to me you can reach your full potential, by eliminating these dark emotions of yours then, and only then, will you have my full respect and my undieing loyalty."

With those parting words hanging between them, Orion turned swiftly and strode from the caves to get some much needed fresh air.

((lol, thats probably a rather quick about face, but I am tired, and that is all I could get out of my brain))

Yuri stayed glued to her place, lazily brushing her fingers past her bloodied lips as she watched Orion exit the cavern. Tasting the liquid, she shivered, her feet starting to buckle as her legs lost the ability to support her weight. Falling to her knees, she bowed her head down into the ground, instantly snapping her face back up from the damp cold earth.

Kneading a hand through the soil, she struggled to get a grip over her sudden weakness, her sudden surge in emotions. Closing her eyes, nibbling mindlessly at her lip, she allowed her right hand to drift over to the fresh bite in her throat. Gently prodding two fingers onto the new wound, she moaned, shuddering violently. Snapping away her hand, she groaned frustrated at her reaction, slamming both fists to the ground and saying the only word that could sum up her situation. “F*CK!!!!!”

“F*ck?” Yuri turned her head to the side, out of the shadows stepping a curious Khimaria. She crossed her arms. “That’s a new one, I’ll give you that much.”

Thinking back to the previous scene, Yuri blushed furiously, sluggishly starting to sit up. Eyes on the ceiling, she hid her embarrassment with a careful frown. “Tell me…how long have you been watching?”

Khimaria stepped closer, now standing over Yuri. “Up to the ‘f*ck’ part…you will have to explain to me just what that means as soon as you tell me,” With a small grunt, she stooped down, examining the two bleeding holes composing Yuri’s neck. “Who did this to your neck…?”

Getting to her feet, Yuri steadied herself with the help of the wall. She still didn’t have a complete hold over the bizarre sensation that had overwhelmed her. Concealing her wound with a clean palm, she grimaced. “It is nothing,” It came out defensively, Yuri unable to admit that Orion had bit her, that she had allowed him to bite her…that...she had savored every last minute of it, from his hold around her waist to the fangs that had broke through her flesh.

Growing incredibly shamefaced at her last thought, she closed her eyes, pounding a fist weakly into the wall. She sighed heavily, glancing sideways to Khimaria. Eyes now holding a tired look, she shrugged. “I am going to go change from this robe. Have a small confrontation, then go out for the evening. If you are not too busy you should join me,” Standing straight, her hazel eyes gained their trademark glow, a scheme in her mind. “We should at least know our way around the city before we considering taking over the world. Meet me outside if you will go?”

Raising a brow sheepishly, Yuri strolled back to her dwelling, exchanging the robe for a pair of fitted black jeans, small silver buckles going down each side. Slipping into a cut navy blue t-shirt, she pulled on her boots, equipping herself with two daggers. Four to five days left until my katanas come back from shop. Be strong, Yuri. Be resourceful.

Almost smiling, she licked away the leftover blood from her lips, venturing with a determined face to the overcast day outside. Forcing back the cold, snow longer falling, she made note of her surroundings. Xornon was sitting rather calmly in front of the entrance, fiddling with a throwing knife. Dante was rubbing his arms for warmth, Orion standing by the sitting vampire.

She let out a breath. Walking until she reached Orion’s side, she debated silently to herself whether anything should be said. Gaining a vague expression, she forced out her voice. “I…” She sighed, apathy claiming her. “It is not required that you give me your undying loyalty and respect, that is Khimaria’s privilege. The only thing I ask is you do not expose yourself…that you accept what you are. While my…hatred towards humanity may seem blind, pointless even, there is a reason for everything; you must keep that in mind…” Checking on the status of a heel, Yuri started to murmur. “But if it will help in our…revolution of sorts if I tone down the malevolent attitude, I will make an attempt to…change.”

“But I have one…” She laughed slightly. “Minor quibble,” Cold glare resting on Orion’s casual expression, her hand whipped out, fingers digging into his throat. She narrowed her eyes. “If you ever bite me again, whether it be for pleasure or pain, permission or no, I will strike you down.” She didn’t care if her dark emotions temporarily left her, she was too displeased with her lack of focus after such a move.

Releasing him after a second, she turned her eyes on Xornon, a cough escaping his lips, a poor attempt to hide a small chuckle. Turning from Orion, she hovered over the vampire, hand on her hip in scrutiny. “Find something humorous…?” He made no response, resuming nimbly playing with the silver knife. “Xornon, I am speaking to-”

“I heard you,” he cut in coolly, silver knife gliding in between fingers. Orange eyes burning through the metal, he continued. “You will have to excuse it but I think from now on I will take my requests and little orders from Khimaria and Khimaria alone.”

“Is that so?” Yuri was amused, not knowing whether to laugh or be insulted. She chose a mixture of both. “Pity…I was actually beginning to enjoy your company. I find anybody who can almost kick my ass amusing. Well, freeze then.”

Rolling her eyes, a movement could be seen from the woods. Closing her eyes, she massaged her temples. Everything was starting to happen a little too fast, she couldn’t even get a chance to relax. Ready to kill the approaching female, she frowned as the woman came closer, looking over every little thing in avid wonder.

Smirking bemused, Yuri crunched across crisp white snow, snapping frozen twigs underfoot as she neared the stranger. Holding curly brunette locks no longer than shoulder length, blood decorating most of her grimed attire, she stared to Yuri curiously. Extending a hand, she started to reach for her hair, Yuri stopping her attempt with a simple grab to the wrist. Her smirk grew into a broad smile. “Airy…it seems not even sleep could change you.”

Airy made a face, a grin starting to appear. She stared up to her curious. “Yuri…?”

“In a manner of speaking,” content that another familiar vampire was in her midsts, she gently wiped at Airy’s bloody cheek. “I take it your curiosity has finally gotten you into trouble?”

“Yeah…sorta…no, but this is what happened…” She started to replay the events of the night for Yuri, starting from her meeting with Xzaar, to the cotton candy at the carnival, eventually reaching her ‘Yuri moment’ where she had taken down her kidnappers from the alleyway.

Nodding her head with a small smile as she listened, back to the entrance of the cave, she put a finger to her lips, then motioning to each character. “Airy, this is Orion, Xornon, and his…accomplice Dante,” They all acknowledged the new vampire’s presence, she giving a shy little hi as she followed Yuri into the cave. She turned back to touch Orion’s hair, Yuri quickly pulling her back into the dimly lit grotto.

Yuri glanced thoughtfully to Airy, small smile still in play. “Airy…want to play a game? I call it…” She gave a toothy smile. “Clean up.”

“Hmm…” Airy stared in wonder and suspicion. “I don’t know…what's that aboUT?!” Before she could finish her question, Yuri had picked her up and threw her over her shoulder, humming a bright tone as she quickened their pace. Airy made a face. “What are you doin-”

“Please…” drawled out Yuri, peering over a corner. “Do not be too surprised, the world has changed, not I. And, considering you were the most innocent one…and you are absolutely filthy, just think you need a little bath is all…”

She thought, then frowned. “…yuri…?” The two turned a corner, the moisture in the air building. Airy’s eyes widened. “Yuri…?” Now hearing the smallest sounds of water, heat lapping up to her feet, she shouted. “Yuri, if you throw me into the spring, I’ll never heal you again!!”

Yuri feigned a hurt expression, pausing as she started to heave the vampire into the pool. “Would you really do that? Not ever heal me again…?”

“Try me…” Blinked Airy, fingernails drumming along Yuri’s back moodily.

“Oh, alright,” Rolling her eyes, Yuri put Airy back onto her feet, smirking at her expression. It soon turned into a light chuckle, Airy following suit after awhile. Pushing her back slightly, Airy crossed her arms.

“Don’t do that, you had me thinking you were going to drown me.”

“Teasing, I was teasing,” Yuri pulled her arms up over her head, rolling her tongue over a fang. “Though…now that you are here, it is an idea. Progress through the cave at your own speed, I, on the other hand, will be outside. Take care.”

Casually waving bye, Yuri started back to the entrance, a voice springing up in the back of her mind skeptically.

Surprising…the body snatcher isn’t a complete and total b*tch after all.

Oh, I am, Yuri pushed open the door of the cavern, taking a deep breath of the brisk, cool air. She pushed away her smile, That was merely a playful bordering on nice attitude. Put it in a frame, you will never see me that pleasant again.

Clever little play on words, how long you had to scourge my mind for something like that? Long as I’ve been searching yours…? For a bite that you hated and wasn’t supposed to mean shit, seems as if that’s the second thing on your god damn-

SILENCE!! With her last word, Yuri ended the conversation, almost in a fear her mind could be read. Sitting down, she relaxed, watching as Dante made his way over to Orion.

“What are we gonna do for now?”

Yuri already had her own plans in mind. Once late enough, she would tour this mall Simone had been thinking of as she slept, that eventually leading into a night on the town. She would start reconnaissance on her target later, for now, she wanted to enjoy herself more than usual. Answering Dante’s question, she stared into the sky. “Wait for the stars…”

ooc: hopefully I'm coming out of writers block as i was able to use voluminous in my first sentence of this post, you don't see that everyday

Khimaria sat outside the cave on a voluminous rock, it was sandstone and surprisingly comfortable. Since the first day of having a body the only exploring Khimaria had made was through the eyes of her crystal ball, and looking around the cave. The world she had seen through the crystal ball was very new and she was amazed by cars and things like that. She had asked Laura for information on many things and was surprised by her answers. One thing she had to do was eat a hot dog.

Khimaria was greatly worried for Zacharias. She feared he had ether traveled too far looking for a suitable host and then got lost. Airy was a different matter, Khimaria hadn't seen her yet but Khimaria could smell her, unfortunately she couldn't tell were her scent was coming from as her seances were messed up. They were messed up because she was sitting on this rock in twilight watching a spectacular pink sunset. It was nice to get out once in a while. she picked up some grass off the floor and rubbed it against her skin, it was getting a bit irritated and the moisture from the grass helped sooth her infuriating itching.

Xornon's anger towards Yuri had all but died down now. He stood, replaced his knife in his boot, and went to her, pulling her aside for a second. "I am...sorry...for my attitude outside. You interfered in my fight, and that is something that I do not take lightly. You didn't know what I was doing, so I can understand why you did jump in, I just needed to get over my anger." Xornon took a deep breath before he continued.

He was not use to apologizing, or explaining himself to others. If Yuri had been anyone else, he would have cut her down where she stood. No one stopped his fights. Even the police suffered when they tried to break up a brawl he had started.

"I would be gracious to be able to remain on your good side during this campaign." In all honestly, he would have been. He and Yuri got along well. And even though he could see her slight atraction to Orion, he felt almost....protective of her.

Xoron quickly shook the thought to the back of his head and looked back at Yuri, his eyes piercing hers. With a toothy smile, he changed the subject back to something less awkward. "So, his bite really shook you up, huh?"

Airy walked around the cave looking at the different tunnels and vast tombs inside it."This place hasnt changed a bit"Airy said turning back around. She walked into a the main room where she was able to see a round object leaning against the wall that held her reflection."Wow I indeed look a mess.Maybe a bath isnt a bad idea after all."Airy said walking to the springs.Once she got there she inched her way into the hot springs slowly. When she was all the way inside she relaxed completely.Forgeting how calm and theraputic the springs had once been.Laying back she began to let her mind drift and when she did disturbing images went flashing through her mind.Nearly jumping out of the water Airy just stood there trying to grasp every bit of reality that she could. Finally shaking herself out of thought she dried off and proceded to the nearest room which just so happened to be Yuri's.A devilish smile crept across her face as she opened up backpack Yuri had on the floor and pulled out some faded black jeans and a white T-shirt that had the words "bite me" across it.Airy then slipped the clothes on and walked outside where she saw Khimaria sitting on a voluminous rock playing with some grass."I see you have finally made it back."Khimaria said watching Airy take a seat."I would have came sooner but this world is much diffferent than ours was and I was just out adventuring."Airy explained."I understand Airy but now isnt the time to go on any adventures now I understand that you are a curious being but right now all of us are to naive to venture out because we could bring some unwanted troubles.Like what happened earlier dont think I didnt see that."Khimaria said with a stern look."I'm sorry I just lost it for a minute."Airy said slightly embarassed.Despite Airy's innocence and curiousity when she is angered she has a very terrible temper that makes her extremely dangerous."Come on Airy lets go msybe we could try this "hang out" term sometime."Khimaria said standing up.Not knowing exactly what Khimaria meant by that she stood up and followed her.

Orion bounced lightly on his heels, sarting to feel jittery and on edge. After a time, he growled angrilly and turned to Dante.

"We need not wait for the stars, I am not afraid of the light. That small taste of Yuri has sent my urge into overdirve, and as much as I want to ignore it, I cannot. I must feed, or I will lose my sanity."

((Wow, well done brain, you gave me a whole five lines. Damn these night shifts to hell))

(OOC: Better something than nothing at all…)

Thinking back to her earlier case of the shakes, Yuri arched her brow, a weak smile starting to come into view. “That is…one way to put it,” She crossed her arms, back pressed against the door of the grotto as she kept her gaze fixed on Xornon. “Though, it is not only that, you see…I am not entirely use to being bitten.”

Xornon gained a curious bordering on baffled expression. “So, before all this, you never got bitten in the neck? Ever…?” He asked it with heavy skepticism.

For a second, she wondered why it would be an issue. Brooding on the matter, she rolled her eyes, then giving a coy smile. “Please…allow me to clarify. Before this century, I had been bitten by others…not too many though. I am just saying,” Yuri glanced awkwardly in the heavy metal vamp’s direction. Eyes back on Xornon, she motioned him close, speaking into his ear. “I am just saying, I am not use to one biting me within less than a few hours of me knowing them. And I am not use to them still coexisting with me after a certain amount of time.”

“Hmm…” Xornon stepped back, looking her up and down, finally resting an amused gaze on your face. “So you’re saying almost anyone who bites you is susceptible to death?”

“Exactly!” beamed Yuri, snapping her fingers at his conclusion. She placed a hand on his shoulder. “And that is why we get along despite my misgivings over your past…” She may have been on friendlier terms with the orange eyed vamp, but she still couldn’t forget about him disbanding.

Catching the end of Orion’s complaint, Yuri blushed briefly. She squeezed Xornon’s shoulder, heading in the bassist’s direction, standing with her attention to the ground. She murmured. “By the way…I am…glad you are no longer…upset with me,” Briskly increasing her pace before he could comment, Yuri reached up to in front of Orion, snapping her fingers pertly in his face.

He snatched her wrist in response, quickly letting go and taking a shaky breath. He pocketed his hands, closing his eyes as he started to pace back and forth, the lack of blood causing him to grow unstable. Yuri stared to her wrist, reluctantly bringing it to her lips. Growling low, she dug her fangs into her wrist, blood slowly starting to spill from the two light wounds. Extending her hand out to Orion, she tilted her head and said, “Feed.”

At the scent of fresh blood in the air, he stopped almost immediately in his step, glaring to Yuri indescribably. “Didn’t you say less than ten minutes ago, permission or no, if I bit you, you’d kill me?”

“Yes,” agreed Yuri, preventing him from retorting as she held up a finger. “However, you did not bite me; you are just going to feed. And as for permission, I meant in regards that I am not allowed to kill another vampire unless they are a threat to the cause. Though…vampire blood is not very potent to another, but I am in a human vessel so it should sate your thirst for an hour or two. Now drink,” She ordered, voice growing cold as the warm liquid crimson fell wasted into the snow.

He stared hard to her, unsure whether or not it was a trick for her to be able to slit his throat. Seeming to go against his better judgment, he snatched her wrist out from the air, blood seeping over his fingers. He lifted her hand, closed his eyes, and buried his teeth into her wrist, feeding slowly, almost lethargically.

Lids growing heavy, she forced away a hiss, fluttering lids of bliss. She instead, threw her head back to the sky, breath growing strained with each slow sip of blood taken from her body. In a minute or so, the clouds started a dance, swirling as her vision grew dizzy and dim. Licking her lips, she returned her attention to Orion, face flushed. “Stop.”

He continued, Yuri wondering if she’d have to kill the heavy metal vamp. However, before any drastic measures could be taken, her voice reached him, bloodied fangs removing themselves from her wrist. Peering up to her from a strange hued cerulean, he methodically proceeded to clean up the blood staining her wrist, lifting his head once finished.

So dazed was Yuri by the process that she didn’t even notice the release of her hand, her arm now limp to her side. Balling up a fist angrily at the thought, she growled, forcing herself not to lash out. She was starting to grow wary of her human emotions. Eventually managing to push away her anger, she motioned for the three gentlemen to follow, pocketing her hands at a fierce winter breeze. Holding a visible frown, it only grew prominent under winter stings and icy bites.

Xornon walked up to her side, Orion and Dante keeping to in back of the pair. He asked, “Where are we going today? Who’s on your to die list?”

“To kill list,” corrected Yuri, smarmy grin popping up. Replacing that for a serious attitude, she said, “Today I am not going on an assassination; I have a whole month until he must die so time is no issue. No…today I am going to this mall place, wherever that may be. I have an objective to complete for the spirit I am sharing this vessel with. Once that is over with,” She placed her hands behind her head with a wide smile. “The night is young…I leave it to you and Orion to show me around, show me a good time and the best this new century has to offer.”

“Really…?” mused Xornon, staring ahead in wonder.

“Really,” said Yuri, in a relatively calmer mood than she had been before.

The group walked through the cold in silence, after thirty minutes landing themselves at the train station. Taking it into the city, in around an hour, they arrived at the mall, nearly thousands of monstrous metal vehicles crowding a huge lot, yellow lights hanging overhead coming to life as night began to descend, overcast giving way to a deep lavender sky.

Watching as a vast amount of humans began their holiday shopping, red and green lights decorating the glass entrance of nearly every store, Yuri found herself stunned by it all. She took a breath as she tried to take it all in. Regaining a cool composure, she looked over her party vaguely. “You all are free to do as you wish but please try to meet back here (here being in front of an overgrown pine tree serving as the mall’s centerpiece) within the next three hours?” Turning on her heel, she headed to her destination, throwing a casual ‘enjoy your evening’ over her shoulder…

Orion watched Yuri leave, frowing at the fluttering of his heart. There are times when I could curse these human emotions he bethought the presence in his head.

The presence chuckled. Falling for someone?

No! Orion snapped angrilly, shaking his head an instant later and sighing heavily. What she did for me...was uncalled for, and yet she did not hesitate. It...it tasted so good. Warm, sweet...for a moment, I left this earth completely...for a moment...

For a moment you had fallen for her completely. Do not deny it. But then your so called sense came back to you, and you wondered why someone who generally disliked you would do such a thing. Why does she have to have a reason? Maybe she liked your sensual bite to the neck and wanted repay you? Maybe she decided she wanted you to have your ecstacy, albeit in a totally different way? Who knows...who really cares? Be content with the fact she did this for you and leave it be.

Orion's hand rose slowly to his lips, fingers brushing across them lightly. Easier said than done
