Your right Darth Martin, Kobe is the best in the league and he should have won the fricken MVP award last year, Steve Nash shouldn't have gotten it.

I've always felt Lebron deserved the award over everyone else. I mean the man had a much worse cast than what Nash and Kobe had, and he still led them into the playoffs with sick numbers and pretty much having to do everything for that team to win.

On Kobe: There was an interesting stat the Sports Guy brought out a few months ago. Kobe averaged 35.4 while Gilbert Arenas averaged 29.3. That's a six point difference, yet Kobe took 500 more shots than Gilbert. This disparity didn't have anything to do with injury as both players played 80 games and Gilbert averaged one more minute per game. Kinda does show that Kobe was a ballhog during the regular season considering Gilbert, who is considered a huge ballhog, is 500 shots from Kobe. If Kobe can find a balance between this past regular season and postseason then he will win MVP.

I still thought Dirk should have one the award. He was the only true leader of a team that was in the top 4 record wise.
(Pistons was all around - Wade stood out for the Heat but he did get quite the help - and Spurs had Duncan/Parker combo plus complimentary) Dirk was the only major solo star of an elite team.

dirk was definately a candidate, and maybe nash repeating was questionable, but he definately deserved it the first time.

T-Mac is a better player overall.look at the stats.sure,Vincanity can probably jam the best in the nba now,but his stats aint as good as T-macs.in most areas T-Mac wins it, but it is still kinda close.

give me T-mac... only because of the numbers.. neither have really done anything to prove their noteworthy though, no championships, not even a deep playoff run.. ask this question if the nets and rockets get deep into the playoff's , this thread sucks.

T-mac and Vince are a good comparison not only because they are cousins, but also because they have similiar styles, abilities, etc.

T Mac has nothing on Lebron. Don't even think about it, if u wanna start a thread start a d wade vs Lebron thread... thats at least a fair comparison. both came out in the same draft, both top 5 draft picks, similar abilities, size, determination, leadership, etc... Tmac has won the scoring title once and thats all he has to his credit, he's good, could be great if yao gets his act together, but Lebron is great regardless of who he has around him, he makes everyone else better, screw t mac, screw vince carter... give me BRON BRON

Tmac has won 2 scoring titles, not 1 and that right there is something he "has on Lebron". Experience is another, mid range, driving ability, finishing off drives, scoring, defense, and hes more clutch.

I'll take Lebron in driving abiltiy, finishing off drives, and scoring. Defense is about even. Clutch, I don't know. I would have to go with Lebron because he had multiple game winning shots against the Wizards in the playoffs, but McGrady is pretty clutch too. And experience is basically out the window now, because Lebron already has more experience deep in the playoffs then T-Mac. So far T-Mac hasn't shown the abilty to lead a team by himself deep into the playoffs, Lebron has already done that, with a worse team.

Deep into the playoffs? They went to the second round that is in no way deep.

Why would you take Lebron in scoring? Tmac has already won two scoring titles.....

Lebron is not more clutch. Tmac has already proven himself to be very much clucth over the years, in every possible way. Game winners, game tiers, etc...and lets not forget the performance he put on vs SA, what was it 13 points in 59 secs, I dont remember what it was exactly.

Driving ability and finishing off drives is in the category of scoring, which Tmac is better than Lebron at.
