Yeah, the whole Bush = Hitler argument started by that fat idiot never really had any merit in the first place. If someone opened up a history book for once, then people would realize that the comparison has no merit, and they have NO idea about politics, or anything like that. Moore's only supporters are 13 year old kids who believe anything they see on the internet, and bleeding heart liberals who can't keep a story straight. First Clinton's a liar, then Gore just said everything Bush said, then Kerry can't keep a story straight either. I keep hearing everyone say that Moore started this whole Bush=Hitler crap. Now, as I've said many times, I don't agree with Michael Moore at all. I find him repugnant. But I haven't been able to find any quotes where he's comapring Bush to Hitler. I've found one that says people don't need to compare Bush to Hitler, because Bush is pretty bad on his own.
In fact, it looks to me like most of the Hitler allegations were started by foreign protestors, a couple of submissions to the Bush in 30 seconds add campaign by MoveOn.org, and even Margaret Cho saying he could be a Hitler if he ever applied himself. If I missed it on the link above, let me know.
But, my real point is that it's apparent to most people that when a particular poster repeatedly espouses Bush's infallability, he isn't thinking for himself or herself. It's dissmissive to call other posters who recognize this pattern mindless followers of Michael Moore, who get all their information off the net. There are a lot of good sites on the net...sites that don't go through the neo-con filter that much of the nightly news goes through before it's aired. Disagreeing is one thing. I actually appreciate a well informed dissenting opinion. However these people who come in here and regurgitate soundbites aren't well-informed. They're just fanatically supporting the opinion of their parents or their equally corruptable peers without forming their own opinion through information.

President George Bush Senior realized that occupying Iraq would be a bad idea; it would cost the USA billions and we would be stuck there for years with no good way out. He did not occupy Iraw after the first Gulf War.
President Bill Clinton realized that occupying Iraq would be a bad idea; it would cost the USA billions and we would be stuck there for years with no good way out. He did not invade Iraq during his presidency.
President George Bush Junior did not listen to his father or the former president. He invaded Iraq and occupied it. Now it has cost the USA billions and we are stuck there with no good way out.

The difference is that Bush no longer has to be popular. He got his second election. Goebbles was working for a guy that didn't have to be re-elected. So, the permanance of Goebbles lies was unquestioned. Rove just has to get his boss through 5 or 6 years, and then public opinion be damned. Which, is exactly what's happening.

Bush Sr. didn't launch a full scale war to over throw Saddam because he was in his first term, and war is typically a bad thing to have on your record. He wasn't concerned about bankrupting the US economy. He was concerned with filling his administrations pockets. And baby Bush is doing the same thing. Also, as I mentioned in another thread, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld were trying to get Clinton to go to war with Iraq. War with the middle east was always going to happen as long as the military industrial complex remains in the pocket of big buisness.

Hate has it's own power. Hate is what Hitler used to kill 6 million Jews. Anyone who is filled with hate is subject to being used by others who wish to seek power. I fear that the brokers of this hate will be more like Hitler then Bush. The worst is yet to come, unless we stop the hating.
