I loved the humor in Trainspotting and in Monty Python and The Grail of Life but I hate Tim Curry's humor.

British Humour is awesome...my favorite....although Jewish humour is great too.

WTF is American Humour?

Do you mean shows like South Park or Family guy

Or stupid sitcoms?

Pfft! They're nothing! I use to like South Park but don't bother now! I have never liked Family Guy & not a fan of Simpsons either. Friends is a no too!

I love the great "You 42 carrot plonker you really are!", "Kay?", "Eh eh ehhhh!"
It's great & what this place is about!

Yah, but you're the same person who doesn't think the Simpsons is brilliant.

17 years and 350+ episodes pretty much speaks for itself.

Family guy will exceed the status of "good" if they can manage to stay on a channel for more than 2 seasons without getting dropped.

It were three seasons......

And Simpsons is brilliant...but I have seen the jokes so often that its just not the same anymore.....family guy is fresh and actually I think funnier than simpsons in general

Fresh?

Ryan having a crush on his new substitute teacher.....correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Lisa have a crush on Mr. Bergstrom like 5 years ago?

When have you ever seen an animated show mock American Idol?

Don't let re-runs ruin your perception of a vastly superior show....Also look at the time of the evening that it's aired.

At 8PM you can't get away with nearly as much crap as South Park or Family Guy gets away with, just because they are both aired later in the evening.

Hey man "The Simpsions already did it"......of course they did everything....They probably said every word in the english language in every possible construction.
But what Family Guy or South Park does is just deeper...it crosses more lines...simpsons is just funny on the surface...and way to harmless for a social critic.
