well ok then smile

I think Damon could be the MVP as much as manny.. i mean they considered trading manny and he said he wanted off the team... Damon has lead the league in average and helps hold the team together. And its not one of the Chi Sox guys its gotta be Garland hes got i think 3 wins more. If NY manages to take this WC A-Rod is prolly the MVP

Got a question for you baseball fans: A few months ago I was at a Mets game and saw a fan that had a T-shirt on that said,

You
Are
Now
Knowingly
Embracing
Evil

which, of course, has the first letters spell out "YANKEE." I looked all over ebay and cannot find this shirt. It's for a friend. Anybody have any suggestion where this guy might have gotten this shirt?

Possibly. If it's out there, I want to get it for my friend, who's a Yankee's fan. He wouldn't care; he would love it.

Go Phillies!!! .5 up on the WC!!! and maybe only 2.5 out of the division if the Braves lose!!!

Man, if they won the division that would be great. Cause first of all, the Braves wouldnt have won it, second of all they would be playing probaly the Padres, instead of the Cardinals. And we kill the Padres all the time. Then is the Braves get very very lucky, or whoever wins the WC, and beats the Cardinals(who dont have Rolen anymore) then we can beat them. And we would be off to the World Series!!!

But first off, we have to keep playing like we are. And thats not a given in Philadelphia.

I think the Marlins will be the WC. And i really hope NY stays out of it, but they are creeping up some. Be cool if the Indians got it.

Going to the Phillies game tonight! Big Game. Hopefully they win. They should have last night. They almost came back, but Myers sucked in the first inning and that why they lost.

So.... Go Phillies and Red Sox!! And Reds!! even though they are out of it.

And Go Indians/A's/Angels/Anybody who plays the Yankees!!.

Who do you all think should be Rookie of the Year now? I think it should definatley be Ryan Howard. He easily deserves it more than anyone else. Francour hasnt done anything for the Braves in the past month, While Ryan Howard is doing great. Every time we need a homerun, he gets it. Everytime we need a hit, he gets it. He had a Grand-Slam last nightin like the 10th the win the game, and that is already his second game winning Grand-Slam. The sad thing is if the Phillies dont make the playoffs, then everyone will pick Francour just because the Braves made the playoffs and the Phillies didnt. But if they do make the playoffs, he should easily be Rookie of the Year. Hell, he should easily be Rookie of the year even if they dont make the playoffs.

He has
19 home-runs, 54 rbi's, 154 TB, .291 batting average.
And we only brought him up maybe 2 and a half monthes ago. And he has like 8 home runs in September alone, and thats when it counts.

I know Francour was great for the Braves, but he has been pretty bad in the last month, while Ryan Howard has been great the whole time we've had him up.

Yea as I said a while back id love for them to get the WC over NY which now looks like Boston maybe.. I hope boston takes first back though and NY stays out of the playoffs. Funny thing Boston is playing in Bmore right now, and you would think its a home game for them. THe crowd loudly cheers lets go red sox in a clutch situation. Manny hit a homerun and the entire place went crazy. Maybe it is Orioles fans that gave up hope, maybe then anyone but NY mentality. But its funny to see.

Yeah. I really hope NY doesnt get in. If they do, i dont see them going anywhere. I wasnt talking about the WC though. I was talking about the division. I want the Indians to win the division. I think it would be really funny for the W Sox to not make the playoffs after they were so good. But, i would rather the Yankees not make the playoffs then the W Sox not make the playoffs. I would like the A's to go on winning streak, and the Yankees and W Sox go on a losing streak so they both can miss out on the playoffs. I have nothing against the W Sox, im just think its funny that fighting for a playoff spot. And they Still have 3 more games with the Indians.

Oh and GO PHILLIES!! Ryan Howard with yet another home-run. And David Bell. He has been really bad all year, he's just not that good anymore, but he can still be good sometimes. Oh and how about Hagner, six straight games with home-runs.

God damn those Astros. The Phillies did their job and swept the Nats, but the Cubs didnt help us out. Man i thought when Jose Mecia or whatever his name his, when he hit the ball it looked like a basehit. Damn.

Ryan Howard should be rookie of the year hands down. I will be pissed if Francour wins because there is no way at all he should win. Howard has 23 home-runs, 10 in september which is the most by any rookie, and all of his hits and homers have come when they needed it. He should get ROY easily. Its shouldnt even be close.

Chase Utley is great. First off he is a 2nd Baseman who has almost 30 home-runs and over 105 RBI's. Seconds off, in the first two months of the season he wasnt playing every game, and he still had all those homeruns and RBI's. The funny thing is, he has more HR and RBI's then Bobby Abreu.

If Ed Wade trades either one of them i will stop watching the Phillies, because they are both gonna be great.

Oh what the hell is up with the new tiebreaker rule? The Red Sox and Yankees are tied with the same record after 162 games, but they give the tiebreaker to the Yankees because of the head to head? Thats retarded. It should still be a one game playoff. I heard that they are doing that becuase the Red Sox and Yankees are both in the playoffs anyway. But what happens when the Red Sox and Yankees both advance and the Yankees have homefield instead of the Red Sox. Thats stupid. The only good thing is that i would rather face the WSox then the Angels, and i wont be surprised at all if the Angels beat the Yankees.

Oh and Jimmy Rollins keep the hit streak going, he'll have to continue it next year.
