This isn't even correct as Exar Kun visited the planet about 40 years before Revan and Malak and I think he may have been the one to originally establish the academy on Korriban.

EDIT: On another note I have't seen another site mention Naga Sadoe as the sith emperor other then IGN nor is it on his wookieepedia page though they did update other pages and create some new ones about the videogame, so myabe it was a mistake.

Exactly. But what I was pointing out was the use of Naga Sadow as the the Sith Emperor now. He was stated as being killed by Nadd and now and after all he is alive and preparing his revenge for 1500 years. But this makes me think, if he was alive all this time, why exar kun never found him?

GL is getting more and more careless about the EU...

I really think IGN's article might have some wrong information. Nadd said he destroyed Sadow's spirit. If it were still around then the massassi would have no reason to follow Kun. It would seem odd that Sadow would leave so many followers on planet with temples built for him which gave Kun the idea to build his own temples I believe, as well as his own capital ship.

Well actually Gamespot mentions Naga Sadow also. Gamespot and IGN are pretty much the two most respected gaming sites out there...so yeah.

The official gamesite though (and wookieepedia right now lists the emperor and sadow as 2 different people) doesn't give a name to the emperor while IGN (and maybe gamespot) basically say it is Sadow. Could you post a link to the gamespot page because I skimmed through it and I didn't see them mentioning Sadow at all let alone as the emperor.

Here you go.

And this is the sentence Im refering to.

"The game takes place in the wake of what is considered in the Star Wars universe to be a controversial political decision--the Treaty of Coruscant, which called for an uneasy peace between the once-united Republic and the increasingly powerful Sith Empire, led by Emperor Naga Sadow."

I have a hard time believing both sites are pulling this out of their ass.

http://www.swtor.com/info/story/sith-empire

"Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow led his armies in an aggressive campaign to destroy the Galactic Republic. Though the Sith were successful at first, the Jedi Order rallied back to defeat their dark counterparts, systematically destroying the Sith civilization on Korriban.

Unbeknownst to the Jedi however, the last Emperor of the Sith managed to escape the carnage and fled into Deep Space with his most trusted Dark Lords.

These surviving Sith began rebuilding their society on a distant planet, hoping to one-day return for revenge.

Over the course of the next thousand years, the Sith Empire recovered its strength. The Emperor developed a massive Imperial military, a fleet of advanced warships, and undertook dark rituals which prolonged his life and his undisputed rule."

I think this pretty much implies that Sadow is the Emperor.

By the way, check this out:

http://www.swtor.com/info/story/korriban

It seems they really forgot about exar kun. And according to this revan and malak self-destructed themselves...

This game will really change EU...

By the way, here is another interesting link. However, I must say I hate when I read "Revan disappeared, never to be heard from again." or "where she also, was never heard from again."...

"Traveling the galaxy together and with additional companions, Revan and Bastila were ultimately successful, defeating Darth Malak and destroying the Star Forge. In the process, Revan discovered the truth about his past, but never recovered his full memory. Nonetheless, he was plagued by shadowy recollections of a darkness in deep space, and after Malak was gone, Revan disappeared, never to be heard from again."
According to them Revan never gained his full memories back.

The link also says that Revan and the Exiles fate remain a mystery. I think they could be purposely leaving it vague so that when they tie them in with the story it will have added dramatic effect.

Probably not though, there would be the problem of explaining how they survived 300 years, and the Exile atleast would have to be given a definate form unless she was cloaked in robes like Revan.

You know we have like four different sources that say four different things about Revan's memories...

Goddamn, can't these people just like settle on one statement?

so: if this is an MMO, it won't really have a story, will it? or am i missing something? i've never played an MMO myself, but it seems like it would be a bunch of people running around doing there own thing. Would there be a story line? Because i want a wrap-up of Revan and the Exile. ANd if this game INTENTIONALLY ends any chance of that wrap up by saying "never heard from again" that pisses me off even more.

Think of it this way, in WoW, when my raid group goes and kicks Illidan's ass and tears down all 5 million of his hp the storyline advances for us only. This is how MMOs work, I assume this new Kotor MMO will be similar and hopefully they will explain what happened... otherwise I will be pissed.

Although it seems pretty clear that Revan and The Exile both failed hardcore.

of course! revan probably found Sadow outside the galaxy, just chilling, and not knowing what to conquer: he say: hey, there is a galaxy right over there, see it? You can conquer it. but first you should hang out here for hundreds of years and build up your strength.

And then revan helps him build up his strength.

Its so obvious. I don't know why i didn't think of it before.

But then again it did take the true sith about 300 years to invade after kotor in which the galaxy was at extremely weak state since in a little over a 40 ( or close to 50?) year period there was the Great Sith War,Mandalorian War, Jedi Civil War and the Triumvirate's "shadow war."

Also,I believe it was said that by the time of kotor 2 there was only a hundred jedi alive then there is what Nihilus did at Katarr.

I suppose that does count for something if Revan and The Exile managed to delay the invasion.
