They also need to breathe, eat, and drink. 3 things that Supes doesn't need to do.

Of course he does, it's just like you don't technically NEED to get laid to survive, but yet you do it because you enjoy it right?

I dunno why Superman wouldn't just through that guy and his force field into space.
Also, the iron in your body is not the same as standard iron metal. It is, in fact, weakly repelled by magnetic fields, not attracted. Even massive planatary magnetic fields would have little effect on the iron in your blood.

This thread still exists?
Well, let me clarify a couple of things. I've read on a few threads here this "new" and "revolutionary" concept that enough heat causes magnetic characters' powers to stop working. That's total bullshit (but a good try!). Here's why:
Heat causes the magnetic bonds between objects to decrease, it's true. But it doesn't destroy electromagnetic energy. If it did, we'd all be screwed because the sun wouldn't be able to contain its own heat and it would instantly supernova and destroy the solar system. The fact that we're all still alive should suggest that magnetism does just fine in high levels of heat.
So while Superman could use his heat vision to destroy the bond fusing, say, metal restraints that Magneto created to hold Superman, he couldn't suddenly tear through Magneto's shields with it, because Magneto's shields aren't a magnetic bond - it's an energy field that adds or removes an electron from any object that makes contact with it, thus magnetizing it and then repelling it. Superman's heat vision would have no effect.
So what would happen? Superman would fire heat vision at Magneto, which gets instantly repelled back at Superman by Magneto's auto-shield. Magneto then drains Superman to nothing. Fight over.
What can Magneto do to Superman to harm him, nothing. Superman would use his superspeed get in front of Magneto and punch him before he was able to react, I punch from superman and magneto would be dead.
We have Mr. Genius here... Just one thing or two... Magneto¸can't be approve that way and your theories too, because nothing on earth can explained the magnetism functionalist, so, you can't say that is possible to magnetism a corpse and can't say that its possible to magnetism a wood door because that doesn't exist. But we are in a hero's vs match so I say that Magneto, one of the greatest scrapped and so much too exaggerated evolution of characters , will meet the hell out of is crap against Superman...

I don't understand most of your post - the english is all weird. But I think the general gist of it is that it's not possible to magnetize a corpse or wood door. Magneto can work at a atomic and sub-atomic level - he polarizes the atomic bonds within an object, which can cause it to attract (when he flies people around with him) or repel (when he has his forcefield up). That's why you can't just throw a wooden chair...or a corpse (lol!) through his field. He'd be pretty easy to beat otherwise, wouldn't he?
