At the end of the feast when all the food had disappeared the students we to their common room. James waited for Lilly.
"Hi again." Lilly said to James "it was great wasn't it?"
"yeah to bad we have to start our lessons tomorrow" James sighed
"well lessons might be fun, i think magic is great, my sister doesnt though. she thinks im weird." Lilly looked away from james.
"why does she think that, she must be weird to, if you both do magic" james saw his friends laughing at one another.
"well we don't, iim the only witch in my family my parents think its great but not my sister."
"well when you get home at the end of the year you could always play trick on her" James grinned
"what kind of trick?"
"well does she know we not allowed to do magic outside of school?" James paused while Lilly shook her head.
"just pretend you going to put a jinx on her, that will stop her being mean." james laughed
"i don't know, maybe if shes really mean i will"
James and Lilly caught up with remus, sirius and peter, and they ll walked to the common rooms

Later on in the boys room the four lads were talking
"so what you going to do about severus? james" remus asked when he got into bed
"nothing if he starts on me then i'll deal with it"
"not on your own mate, no one starts on my friends" sirius said
"thanks sirius, do you think lilly might like him... more than me i mean?" James asked his friends
"James if i was you i would just ive up on lilly, severus likes her." Peter said nervously
"if you were james you wouldn't have even been able to say hello." sirius said and all the boys laughed
"James i think that you and lilly make a perfect couple... as long a your not near any water" and the boys began to laugh.
Peter was laughing so hard he fell of his bed.
