The next day they started there lessons, first they had Charms which was easy enough except James's feather only made it up in the air once
and then ended up shooting across the room almost hitting a student, sirius and the others had thought this funny but James was so
embaressed because Lilly had been watching. Then they had had Potions which Peter had not enjoyed as they were in the same class as
Slytherin and he just happened to be sat next to those boys that were looking for him on the train. Lilly was sitting next to severus at the front of the
class this made James very jealous, so in the lesson he just happened to walk past Severus's couldren and slip something in it and with in second of sitting
down severus's potion blown up in his face. Everyone started to laugh except for severus who stormed out the room. When the lesson had finished James and
Sirius were the last to leave, out side the door Lilly was waiting for them. "That was a horrible thing you did James and i know it was you." She said in a angry
voice.
"Er... we'll see you later mate." Sirius and the other boys left him and Lilly alone.
"Look i was only having a laugh, not my problem he can't take a joke." James said as he started walking to the stairs.
"It still wasnt nice, look please don't be mean to him when he hasn't done anything to you ok?" Lilly pledded.
"ok" James watched her leave thinking 'she must really like him, but i'll make her like me too no more jokes on severus." He carried on walking to his next lesson.
