Yeah, Rooks was it, I wouldn't go back that way alone. This dungeon keeps getting weirder, let's hurry up and get to the heart of all this. I'm sure the rest of the group will think of doing the same.

Rooks seems to relax a little and ponders a moment "Well I wasn't planning on leaving, nor am I in any mood to deal with a rampaging Guardian, and it couldn't hurt to go along with you both. No telling whats in this place."
"Sides given the rumors, I've heard that something cool is supposed to be in here. Although I got a funny feeling about this place since I got here..."
Rooks shrugs "Maybe its nothing though.. Lets go!"

i can tell this isn't going to be easy. *gets up* good thing i sent the others away.

Keita sighed upon hearing Lance's announcement of leaving Keiji, "OI! Guess we should go help the little bugger. He'll probably end up getting himself killed...and that wouldn't be a very good thing. Not at all."
Keiji, keiji, what secrets do you hold..., "Lance lead the way! We need to get to him quick, you did say he was fighting? I can't believe you listened and ran off! Tsk tsk little guy!"

Rooks glances at the man, apparently named Lance, and says "No time for formal introductions, My name is Rooks. And it sounds like we really should make haste as Keita suggests. If not to get away from the Guardian that seems to be behind you all, then to save your friend."
*Jace imediately starts attacking the monster. Being a higher level than Keiji, Jace does quite a bit more damage. ((what lvl is everyone?))*
Someone use a healing potion on Keiji!
*Using his speed charm, Jace dodges the monsters attack. Then he runs around to the head of the monster and starts attacking. He gets hit by its arm and takes some damage,but it's not sooooo bad & he keeps fighting.*

Keita preforms a quick healing spell on Keiji then starts in on yelling at him, "What were you thinking by sending Lance off alone!! You know as well as I do that he is not nearly strong enough to handle any monster in this dungeon! You should have had him help you, or stay here at least!"
She stops to catch her breath, and watches the others attack the now helpless monster. Keiji looks angry as far as Keita can tell, "I understand that you were probably trying to protect him, but you have to think something like that through...completely!"
The monster screams its last dying breath then disappears, in its place a chest appears. In the distance the sound of the guardian can be heard, its low whining screech. Everyone does an involuntary shudder, "Time to keep going. No more heroics, from anyone!" She shoots a look at Keiji, "Specially you. We just don't know what will happen if you die in here..."

i'm okay! i just don't want to be lost in here like Tsukasa, that's why i sent lance on. if getting out means dying then fine!.....i lied to you guys before. my clock wasn't broken. i was one of the original people selected to test out the game. if what you said about reality's date is true, then i am 226 years old......i don't want to be stuck in here. that's why i sent lance on.......

"You must have been testing at the very very early stages, this game hasn't been around that long...." Keita gave Keiji a hard stare, then looked at the ground, "Plus when they redo the game, the delete any unnecessary things. You would be one of those things. Each time its upgraded area's get wiped out, if you had been in one of those areas at the time...you would have been deleted."
Keita shrugged, "Its like you're nothing more than just a common virus. If any of this crap you're saying is true that is..."
Instead of saying anything more Keita just headed further into the dungeon, dragging her feet. She felt bad about what she had just said to Keiji, but it had to be done. The kid had delusions or something, Keita was almost certain of this.
She listened to the sound of their bickering fade away, and walked almost happily in the solitude and darkness of the caves. Keita knew however that she could not do this alone, even if she was a very high skill level, "You guys coming or what?" She screamed back at them.

so i was one of the testers. my dad was helping to make the game. they needed to test out the ground plans so all the designers elected their kids. most got killed. i survived. is it so wrong that i'm still around?
*appaers in forest*
they can delete. if i'm deleted, then my work here is undone. i wonder how the group is fairing now.....

What a waste of time. Can we just hurry and get to the bottom of this dungeon, or whatever is supposed to be so great about it.

The monsters proved to be no match to Keita's anger at having to deal with delusional little children, plus Jace seemed just as upset and did a good portion of the work. Soon they were to the bottom of the seemingly endless mazes of corridors and dead ends. The final room had several monsters guarding an ordinary looking chest, "Please say there is something, REALLY great in that chest."
The group made quick work of the monsters. The chest sat there as ordinary as ordinary can get, "Okay, who opens it? Whoever does might have to be the sacrifice to the trap or whatever is on it or in it for that matter..."
Keita sighed and sat on the chest, "How bout, we draw straws."

Having smartly kept his eyes open and mouth shut as the people he had just met have seemed to decended into a bit of an unpleasant mood, as made obvious by the remorseless dispatching of many a monster, Rooks speaks up "I do have a trip wire someone can use.. I always keep a few for any chests I find while out and about."
He grimaces at the sound of the approaching Guardian, "Hopefully we can speed this up now without too much fear of traps and one's untimely demise.. well by trap anyway.."
