Its funny though, the TX had the perfect opportunity to crush Arnie during the end of the bathroom fight. Why on earth did she decide to attempt to take control of Arnie. Why take the chance?
It did lead to her downfall after all.

Maybe because she knew that Arnie knew where John and Kate were heading at that Arnie has a better job at finding them quicker and making it easier for Arnie to kill John!

If Arnie hadn't delayed Connor and Brewster, they may have gotten into Crystal Peaks before the T-X arrived. Without her plasma cannon she would be SOL to break through that blast door.

Yeah, if Arnie didn't keep talking about having no time to get to Brewster's dad and keep saying that "Judgement day is inevitable", they prolly could've gotten to Brewster's dad in time and all 4 of them would be living happily in the fallout shelter thingy (Crystal Peaks)...
