I loved the manga...but they've mutilated the anime! NOOO! Tokyo Mew Mew, in my opinion, is a better title. And I liked their original names, because they were so...unusual. You never saw an anime character called Lettuce! Yargh. I only like dubs that keep original names and dont taint the story line in any way. We must stop the evil known as 4kids! AAAH!

wholy crap mew mew power is just another cheep knok off of salor moon just like winx and just like witch and im telling ya it sucks kind of i guess id watch it every once in a while
um actually its not. It is a magical girl book. and most magical girl books include 5 people. a clutzy leader. a smart parner whom the leader hates.
a smartt(actually VERY smart) 3rd member. an energetic partner, and a strong member. and they are all trying to save the world. the point is what they are trying to save the world from. In tokyo mew mew, are they girls using magic in sailor outfits...no. nor are they attending school to become witches or whatever they are doing in winx...I hate that show...anyway you see my point? Now can we get back to talking bout mew mew power(even though I hate it Do you see me flaming bout it?)

could people who don't like the topic of the thread just not post? their's not a rule the u have 2 post on every thread, so just avoid the 1s u don't like! OMG, it doesn't take a genius 2 figure it out (I should no...I'm insane!). now those who don't like this show (Ahem....Balance) please leave.
Okay first of all. 4kids should have never touched Tokyo Mew Mew. They totally ruined it. Aoyama-kun in the dub sounds like he is 60 years old in a (how ever old he is in the dub) kid's body. ick. And Kisshu's voice in the dub hurts my ears. Why 4kids entertainment?Why do they have to ruin every magnificent japanese animation show they come across? They ruined the plot and the character's personalities. O but no this one is my favorite the stupid "mew" sayings they add, like 'Mew'tilate or A'mew'sing or whatever. And last but not least the names o boy how they had to ruin it. ZOEY? Corina? I love the food names. Ichigo,Lettuce,Minto,Pudding,Zakuro. It's different then your average "George" or "Jill". The writers of TMM are probably displeased and insulted for such a horrible thing done to such an adorable manga and anime.
Like someone said on a different website, it's probably best to go watch the original imported version of most children animes, or in this case, Mew Mew Power which is aimed to get more of a younger female audience. I agree, I'd rather here Ichigo's name changed to Strawberry instead of Zoey, but they had to change the names to something VERY simple so the young female audience could pronounce it, but I still wished 4kids didn't have to take them. Yes the voice actors aren't the best at all, but anyway, I watched the imported subtitled versions, and the 4kids one, I'd have to say the imported version is more unique and very great. Of course lots of people would be disappointed to hear that 4kids took out so many scenes, theres a website that explains the difference in EACH and every episode, and the scenes they took it out, I can probably direct you to it later :3
