 Marissa Rose as Effie in Dreamgirls

I heard a new artist recently that would make an excellent Effie in Dreamgirls. I believe she is from Detroit but her voice is so strong and powerful that I think that she would be perfect. Her name is Marissa Rose. Has anyone else ever heard of her?????
