I don't believe in aliens.. be cool to see them and stuff, just dont think its happening, I mean no one has ever seen one and all the UFO videos look fake as hell and are usually mistaken for something else..
Of all the sci-fi junk, life outside Earth is the most possible (actually IS possible since they found bacteria on Mars...)
If sentinent aliens we discovered or they came to visit Earth in peaceful manner, how would the discovery of sentinent aliens and their culture affect your faith?
Please no, "Aliens don't exist because the Bible/Q'uran/Scripture said so" bullcrap posts...
In hindu scripture there are many many references to " flying chariots", " demons' and " incredible fire and light weapons". So it wouldn't surprise me one bit , nor would it make me change my belief in my faith.

Mormons believe God created many worlds, and we do not believe ours to be the only inhabited world. Also, due to evidence of evolution what's to say intelligent life couldn't evolve somewhere out there as well.
Or it could be the case that human beings were looking for answers, and that because Earth was the only planet they partially understood, (remember Galileo is an infant compared with the Bible's history) they could only write in the scheme of the tangible present. We discovered other planets over 1000 years after "Jesus" was said to be "born," and thus in years BC and even the first 10 centuries of AD, other planets and other life were not even conceptualized, because we couldnt understand beyond te scope of the earth. The Bible is the Christians story of earth's creation, becuase earth is the oly planet they new. Does this mean that the Bible really is just a story, since God was said to create only "Earth," and not our solar system or th universe? Should we rule out any truth that the Bible holds based on these grounds alone?
Are we just afraid of what we don't understand? Also, what is the history of the idea of the alien? Does anyone know? Does anyone know of the first person who sat down and said: there is extra-terrestrial life, they have v-shaped heads and black eyes, I will call them the alien?

Actually the existence of Aliens doesn't contradict the Bible or the Quran. God is supposed to be the creator of everything that would include aliens. Both the Bible and the Quran talk about different lifeforms apart from mankind.
I suspect they are already here but we dont notice them mainly because of our perception of reality. I think gods and spirits can be types of aliens. When something should be but isn't that can mean something is going on and there should be aliens.

I'm pretty sure it didn't happen like that. The development of the theory of other life forms in the universe didn't go that fast, it developed pretty slowly.

I agree with you, hence my post. So what evidence lead some of us to conclude that aliens do exist.
