C'baoth took over an entire planet before gaining a substatial amount of power, and Thrawn recognized him as a threat to the entire Empire (which includes mutiple planets and shit) because of his immense power in the Force.
Still waiting for that hype that puts Kun above Joruus bruh - but I must be talking to a ghost because you didn't eant to debate pages ago.

1) Why so? They have both showed themselves to be superior in other categories, and since we won't be seeing them Luke unleashing all of his power to utterly destroy shit because of morals, that is what I'm going on. If Luke's power in the most fundamental and exigent combatively Force abilities surpass Palpatine by a noticeable margin, then I fail to see why he wouldn't be more powerful overall. You did mention applicable combat power, and what I named IS applicable combat power. Because, you know - opening a Force Storm in combat is retarded. But even if we're talking about just overall power - canon has confirmed Luke strength in the Force is superior to Palpatine. Out of Universe commentary from the NJO writers and Lucas himself suggest this.
2) IIRC, Luke himself hinted him and his students being able to create Force Storm-like destruction in the Jedi Academy novel. Leeeeet me see if I can find the quote for that shit.
But given Luke's greater Force potential, raw power, and greater display of nearly every single Force ability they have in common, I wouldn't call it bullshit.

My attempts to resurrect Nova stems from the fact that I have greater plans for his existence then him retiring and sitting on his ass, as I extort my dominance on these boards as strong as it is on CV.
